I'm a first time Brazilian wax customer, and she made me feel so at-ease and comfortable. I almost cancelled my appointment because my apprehension and anxiety almost got the best of me. So glad I followed thru and went. First off her studio is the cutest thing complete with a cold/hot beverage station. The decor was warm and inviting, and Krysthal herself is so friendly. She has a way of relaxing you, that I literally felt no pain throughout the process. She takes her time, explains everything, and even tweezes any strays that the wax may not have picked up. I felt so smooth and clean when I left. Headed to San Diego with my boyfriend for a staycation, and I cannot wait to hit the pool and not have to worry about shaving. LIFE CHANGING!!!…read more I've had really bad acne throughout my teen years. It cleared up but came back most recently. After trying so many products, I knew that I needed to do more. I needed to get to the root cause of what was breaking me out and find what was good for my skin. I found Wendy on Instagram at a point where I was feeling terrible about myself. I went ahead and got a facial with her. After a few days, I truly realized the difference in my skin. I have acne scars and even after one session I noticed my skin looking smoother. I've gone back a few times and my skin just keeps getting better every time. I update her on my skin and she just knows what to do every time. Wendy is super gentle and easy going when getting a facial done. She will guide you to your best skin possible and recommend solutions to you. Honestly, I've never felt comfortable with others doing my facial. Wendy at Lola's Beauty Bar is my go to.

I've been going to her (not as consistently as I'd like) for years now. Out of nowhere, in my late 30s, I started getting cystic acne on my face, especially around my jawline. I tried different products, but what really helped was the custom peel she offers. I started with one peel here and there, but once I did the package deal, it was a total game changer. She also recommended vitamins to help, and I've been taking them consistently for over a year now. She also recommended the brand Lather for my sensitive skin that is my holy grail now , in addition to using Cerave for moisturizer. I am now 41 and have no more cystic acne! It was super spacious and easy, which honestly made a great first impression. From the outside, the place didn't look particularly luxurious, but once inside, it felt cozy and welcoming, and everyone was very kind. The person who assisted me was a young Vietnamese woman, and she had amazing hands. Every time she touched my scalp, it felt incredibly soothing, and even the light facial massage was so relaxing. She worked continuously for about an hour and a half, giving both hand and scalp massages without any break. By the time I left, I felt completely refreshed and relieved of my fatigue. What stood out the most was how sincere and hardworking she was throughout the entire session. I really appreciated that. They did check my scalp with a camera, but since I don't have major scalp concerns, that part wasn't as important to me. For me, the massage itself was the highlight, and it was absolutely worth it. I will definitely be coming back!

The experience was the best i had by far! Scalp Analysis - they give recommendations and nope, won't sell you any products for that. The chair was super nice. It massages you during the entire process. They put something nice and warm on top of your belly and covers your feet too. You need to take your top off. I paid for a 60 minute service, i did not feel cheated on because it did feel an hour if not more. The massage was really good, it wasn't super hard and you will come out relaxed. It was a nice plus to have your hair blow dried. This is not a salon so calm down on if they cut or style, no they do not. The icing on the cake was them taking pictures & videos -- good ones too. Over-all i will try the 90 minute next time. I am happy with everything.

I'm so glad that research led me to Jenny at Roena. From the start, everything was incredibly easy. Booking online was simple, pricing is transparent and listed right on their website, and they're also very responsive over text. The medspa itself is located inside a medical building, with a large attached parking lot. Ann at the front desk was so sweet, and Jenny has genuinely amazing bedside manner. She's calm, gentle, thorough, and didn't make the appointment feel rushed even though I was late due to traffic. I also really appreciated that the consultation didn't feel upsell-y at all. She listened to what I wanted and didn't try to push additional procedures or treatments. One of the biggest reasons I was looking for a new injector was that I wanted someone who was more attuned to Asian features and aesthetics. From my initial research and subsequent consultation with Jenny, she seemed extremely knowledgeable not only about techniques and treatments commonly used in the states, but also about what's being done overseas in Asia. And most importantly, I LOVE my results. I had tox done in my 11s, crow's feet, and platysmal bands, and everything settled beautifully. The placement feels thoughtful and natural, and the results are exactly what I was hoping for. My before-and-after photos honestly say more than I can! I'm already booking my 2-week follow-up with Jenny and plan on coming back to her for skin boosters in the future as well. After being so hesitant to leave the same injector I'd trusted for years, I'm genuinely so happy I found Roena!

The first thing I noticed upon entering was how beautiful the place was! Talk about "aesthetic" haha! The owner, Joan, was there when we arrived and she chatted with us for a little bit, she was so nice and welcoming. All five of us got a head spa with complete facial w/ dermabrasion. It was such a nice experience! Lyn (not entirely sure if this is the right name) did such a good job with my facial/extraction, it didn't hurt as bad as I was expecting it to. Tho one of my friends was saying her aesthetician didn't really do much of an extraction and she still had a few whiteheads left untouched so she wasn't too impressed with the facial. I guess it depends on the aesthetician.. The only thing I was kind of bummed about is that they don't give you blow out after the hair spa (you have to pay extra for it) i'm sure some of us would like to leave the spa looking a little better than we did when we got there especially after how much we have to pay for the service lol they will only roughly dry it for you then leave it as is. So i left with frizzy hair lmao Over all, it was such a relaxing and fun experience. They even give you complimentary snacks and a drink after you step of out the room. I will definitely be back and will recommend this place to other people!
