This place is some bullshit, sorry. Phenomenal reviews. I was so excited to come and get a wax. However, I won't be coming back. The receptionist was warm welcoming, I was waiting for a while and overheard a few calls she does her job great. My waxer was not friendly, i'm not sure if I caught her on a bad day, but she did not want to be there with me this morning (I understand that everyone has hard days however you can't come off as rude in a professional setting). She was rolling her eyes at me! I didn't speak to her more than a hello and I asked her to repeat herself one time when she was giving me instructions, I came in with a smile! And on top of it, she gave me an asymmetrical triangle, I like to leave hair on top, there was way too much taken off. It looks silly! I showed her with my fingers where I want the perimeter to be. It's so bad I need to go home and shave it off. I left a picture for reference what the triangle looks like. I'm trying to make light of a bad situation. I have gotten plenty of waxes before, I know a good wax and I know what good atmosphere feels like and I did not experience that today. I considered going back in to just have the rest of the hair removed but I really hate to be bald. I'm still debating. read more

This is my second experience since my long time waxer closed her business. I gave them a try because they had great reviews, were near my house and have lots of parking (vital). The space is cute and clean, very pink and girly, which I like. I've had a great experience each time. Waxers are fast and friendly. Today I had Brittany, who started by giving me a quick rundown of my multiple services, where we'd start, etc. and continued to communicate what step she was going to be taking at each point to make sure I'd know what to expect. It was very professional. We even chatted a bit, which added to the pleasantness but wasn't overwhelming. I'd definitely book with Brittany again! She's great. Prices are fair and there are a lot of different style memberships to suit your waxing needs. I wax a lot so I joined the rose gold membership and I get 40% off all services every month. Also important to mention, front desk girl is super sweet and helpful. I heard her handle a complaint on the phone and she provided excellent customer service while staying polite and professional. So I've been to wax pink 5 times. And on my fourth I had Adriana.(I normally don't switch but I was trying out the different ladies to see who fit best). She did okay but not as well as the other 2 ladies. So today was my fifth visit and second time with her(they were booked out). It came off like she was rushing. Not moving in order from eyebrow to lip to chin. 1strip on my lip while another strip is hardening on my chin, she is trimming at one eyebrow. She was completely all over my face and not taking her time from one area to the next. I have very thick eyebrows and she over trimmed them to where now I have barely any hair in the front. She overtrimmed the top so now there is a dip. I was better off not getting my eyes brows done and plucking the new growth. What tip me over the edge was the "oh well sorry" I received from her and the front desk. Life is too expensive for an empty sorry. Eyebrows are equivalent to a haircut for men. There is a lot of trust and loyalty. Customers are looking for relationships not just transactions. Every visit I was building a relationship with Wax Pink and the moment the mistake happens on their end it became a transactional "oh well". read more

You know those places where you go to get waxed (a Brazilian) and the tech gives you a minute of privacy and offers you wipes or to use the restroom before you start? And then gives you a briefing of what to expect or asks you if you've waxed before? And then prompts you to inhale for the tender/painful parts? Or even asks you if the wax is too hot? Or tries to make convo to make you feel at ease? (And not just asks you if you just got off work at 1 pm on a Saturday lol what) Yeah this place isn't one of them. This was the most awkward wax service I've ever received. What I thought would have been a good Groupon ended up being an experience I really didn't like. An extra star because Nadine (according to who Groupon set me up with) offered me the mirror to check her work. And also for how quickly she finished as it took maybe 14 minutes and then didn't try to sell me any products. The quick work was satisfactory with hairs I felt still leftover and lots of wax pieces sticking all over my groin and privates. Like we're talking obvious little pieces left behind more than the tiny bits that potentially get missed. By this time I wanted to get out of there stat. When I walked out no goodbye greeting or thank you for coming in, I felt like I was getting trolled during this experience. Will not be returning back for my 2nd service. I'm not sure what kind of retrograde experience the universe was putting me in but it's a shame because the other Groupons I've tried in the past ended up being great! This one, not so much. Something tells me tho that if I were to pay $68 or however it typically costs I would have been treated differently, or maybe I'm just not a match for the style of this place. So I want to start by saying that both times I came to wax pink, both of people that waxed my legs were fabulous-- sweet, professional, quick and super thorough. I especially enjoyed the conversation I had this evening- and I am horrified I can't recall her name. Here's why I am giving a low mark. The first time I came to be waxed I asked for a full leg wax. I was charged $81. However if you look at the pricing table behind the reception it states: full leg $81 lower half leg $36 and upper leg for $36 ($72 total) -- so I asked 'why would I pay $81 for a full leg when I can pay $72 for a lower half leg and upper half leg? What's the difference?'. It doesn't make sense. The lady behind the counter (whom I actually think was the lady I spoke again to today and called herself the manager) said that the full leg included the bikini wax - hence the price difference. Okay, I get that - makes sense. Of course, I didn't get my bikini done in the full leg wax because I didn't know it was included but instead of charging me $71 she said I could wait and get the bikini done if I wasn't satisfied. Frankly, she was a little passive aggressive-- but I let it go because my waxer was so nice. So fast forward to today-- and I return to get my full leg waxed again. Pricing still the same on the board behind the reception. So, when I went in, I explained to the initial receptionist- (who again was very professional and super delightful) my previous experience, showed her the pricing and she totally understood that the delta in pricing didn't make sense. So I said, I actually want a full leg if it includes the bikini. I went in, had my wax (again fabulous service) and when I came out I was 'greeted' by the manager who was actually just plain rude. She told me that she heard from the receptionist that I thought I was getting a bikini included for $81 and in fact that's wrong and it was an additional $54 for a bikini. So I asked her- 'do you actually know what happened?' To which she responded 'no I didn't hear the whole story' to which I replied 'well would you like to?' (Bad management 101 to not be curious and ASK the client what happened.) She begrudgingly listened to the backstory to which she said 'yes I'm aware of that pricing - it was put up by the manager before me' Okay. That's just BS. Take some accountability. You KNOW that the information is misleading and just plain wrong and it's okay because ''it was the manager before me' Honestly ridiculous. She proceeded to tell me she was going to not charge me for my underarms when in fact, she should not have charged me for the 'bikini' because of the situation. At that juncture it was late, I was tired and didn't want to deal with her sassy attitude so I said- ' i really suggest you change the sign, it's misleading' --- paid and left. Her whole attitude was fed up, irritated and defensive. Just horrible service. And it's such a shame because everyone else there was great. It's not the money. I'd pay whatever- it's the shitty attitude, the blaming of someone else and no desire whatsoever to actually listen and make things right. That will be the last time I go to Wax Pink. read more

BE CAREFUL BECAUSE YOUR APPOINTMENT MAY GET MOVED WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT :( I'll start by saying that I left happy thanks to Citlali (she's awesome, only reason it's 4 and not 3). I get there at 3pm, the girl at the front is like "Oh...so we may not get to do all your services because you're late" My appointment was at 3:05PM (so I was actually there 5min early lol) and i'm like "No. My appt is at 3:05" and she goes "No, it's at 2:45 check your confirmation text. " in this rly weird tone lol So I pull up the confirmation text which shows I confirmed for 3:05 lmao (pictured below) And then in the same weird tone she's like "Mm well I guess we'll get u in and do what we can" So i'm a lil irritated at the way she came at me and ask how my appt got changed without my consent, I did get a VM the day before asking if I could possibly come in at 2:45 but I didn't get to it until I got home from work around 8ish and so I texted the same # back saying I could try to be there earlier but most likely would not be able to and would hence be keeping my 3:05pm appt. You'd figure they would get consent before changing an appt time or at least text/call to let someone know they HAD to do it for some reason, they didn't and that wasn't cool because I felt so judged for "being late" and was irked that I couldn't get all the services I was treating myself to after neglecting my personal/beauty needs for so long because someone changed my time without me saying yes. Luckily Citlali was amazing and did what she could because i'm sure she was as lost as I was regarding how it happened to be that way and it was in no way her fault, appreciate her! Will be coming back because the prices here are great but I sincerely hope this doesn't happen again bc instead of the 3 services I booked there was only barely any time for 2 because of a mistake someone on their end made. It was my first time here, I was not late and I scheduled for a time that worked for me. Otherwise the place is cute and the wax was good compared to other places i've been to. She asked what I was looking for, and explained the process to me, as it was my first time having hard wax applied to my skin.
