Back story - when I got my first wax, it wasn't with Mariah. As a first timer, it's almost impossible to feel totally comfortable with the process. I'd hope with whoever was doing my wax, would make the experience a tad better. I did not feel that way with who I initially chose but still went on with the service. As a lay there, stalls down I heard this girl who was full of energy, good vibes, and genuine conversation with her client that I immediately wondered who she was. For me to feel such a welcoming vibe and it didn't come from the person who was doing my wax at the time, I was a bit disappointed. As I finished my first wax, I ended up passing by Mariah and her client at the front desk. First timer here and I need to start with a thank you for the photos. Representation is essential for me, especially after hearing some stories of mistreatment at the big name providers. I also appreciate the price list with a description of services available. It was easy to book an appointment. Metered parking was easy to find and reasonable for the time needed. Mariah was pleasant in every way. She was grateful that I trusted her for this experience and reassuring that it would be quick and easy. After her intro of what to expect she answered my questions then gave me a moment to prepare. The room was clean, and comfortable with good vibes and music. During the treatment, she told me what to expect every step of the way. I have to say the anticipation I'd built up was so dramatic, but thank goodness for deep breaths IN. Mariah is the sweetest, most gentle, and most knowledgeable waxer I've ever had! Upon arrival, her light a cheery voice welcomed me in to the intimate room in the salon. (Note Mariah's service is in one room, not throughout the salon. Must call upon arrival to be buzzed in.) She confirmed my services, explained her process, and offered options for comfortability before leaving the room for me to change. I personally appreciate that to ease me in for my first time visit, as well as clarify everything so there are no issues later. The room smelled of chocolate - later learning it was the chocolate wax she used for my skin. She explained the benefits of using this soft wax and strips while checking for comfort throughout my service. A constant green flag for me was the frequent check-ins, particularly when she moved to a new area that may be more sensitive and when the wax temperature may have changed. I booked a full Brazilian and she got it ALL! The bikini, between the cheeks, and even my lower belly hair and top inner thighs. She went above and beyond when she tweezed off any stray hairs and superficial ingrowns, still being gentle and checking in. I added on a gold mask for an extra soft & smooth finish. The cool gel felt so soothing after all the tugging. I haven't left the salon this clean clean before. Our fun and joyful conversation the full time allowed me to continue my day is a wonderful mood. 10/10 Will book again! read more

A very experienced esthetician, and this chocolate wax...GAME CHANGER. I have the most sensitive skin so I am very picky with where I go to get my waxes. The last place I used to go to, raised their prices and I started getting bad service (very rushed, and didn't do a good job, broke out after my last one) so I left and found Mariah.
