Parking was a bit complicated since it's only street parking and they are on a main road . However I am happy with the results I came in and asked for wax eyebrows ( usually I thread and have been for years , but sometimes I just don't feel like enduring pain ) so I asked for wax and she asked if she can clean up with thread after . LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, Brow Heaven! I moved to LB a year and a half ago and a friend recommended BH, and I instantly became a regular. I came in not having any specific threader and was assigned Hira, instant connection, she did an amazing job on my brows, listened to what I like and don't like and delivered 1000 times over!! I have even had to come in when Hira wasn't working and any other person I was assigned has been great also! But Hira is my homegirl, so sweet and an artist in threading! Not the best lash lift service. Very mediocre, doesn't get close enough to your eyelids to make it look like there's length. Lashes don't stay lifted long. Next day was already falling. Spent less than $100 on this service, I may need to go back to the other lash lady I went to prior. Spent almost double but the quality was worth it. Walked in after 3 pm on a Wednesday. I was greeted by everyone in the shop. No one was getting their brows done. I asked for a specific threader but she was not on the schedule for the day. I asked for another and she was taking a break but agreed to take me. She examined my brows and asked what I would like. I asked for a cleaning as I hadn't had my brows done in years. She cleaned them so nicely I asked for an additional arch. She added the arch and it framed my eyes nicely. I really liked how she added aloe vera on my brows afterwards and massaged it in. Sometimes with threading your skin can get sensitive and become inflamed. The aloe helped so much and felt so good. I love the shape and the promptness of it all. Brows cost $12 plus tip $3 for a total of $15. Definitely worth it. I want to try the tinting and the lamination eventually. Thank you Brow Heaven! read more

She truly cares about your brows and how that will change your new look. After asking me a few questions and giving her advice I went with the process. I did not have an appointment and was a walk-in. I searched on Yelp and saw this this eyebrow salon offers eyebrow waxing which is what I prefer. This salon provides both services, eyebrow wax and eyebrow threading. The eyebrow technician who waxed my eyebrows asked me several questions about why I prefer to wax them instead of threading, and was trying to persuade me to switch to threading. The soft wax felt lukewarm by the time it was placed on my skin, and it didn't appear that they had a specific room for waxing in the studio, so my services were done in a regular chair where eyebrow threading took place. She was very quick and did not ask me during the process what I thought, other than asking if it was a "clean up" before starting. I understand that they offer both services and I probably chose a service they don't do often, but they're better off not offering waxing services if it's not something they're skilled in. TLDR: only come here for eyebrow threading, not waxes. read more

First time getting my eyebrows threaded by a man, and let me tell you, Manos SLAYED! (& I don't say 'slayed' but I couldn't think of a better word). He was very careful & examined my eyebrows before threading. He checked in frequently throughout to make sure I approved before moving on. I think that is essential to keeping happy customers. Brought my brows back to life! Very gentle while threading. Other shops have torn my skin off, no issues with that here. Always happy with my brow shape. Love the aloe gel and face/head massage at the end of each service. It's always a relaxing experience when I'm in Brow Heaven. Love this shop! Very clean. No nonsense, like many other threading places harassing me to by other products that are cheap and full of chemicals. Excellent customer service. Good prices, check in deals and customer incentive program. I get the deal each time I attend and rack up points toward future services. Parking is tight, but it's Long Beach, so expect to deal with that. I usually find neighborhood parking or try to come during non-peak hours if possible. read more

I called asking for a walk-in appointment (thankful they took me in) and asked for manga style lashes. They didn't know what it was (most popular lash style these days) but I just decided to try anyways since it was local. So I walk in, pick my lash style, and lay down on the bed. First of all, they don't wear any standard clothes, the lash tech was wearing see-through loungewear. The places I go to usually wear scrubs or something clean. I lay down on the bed, no casual conversation, just seemed like she wanted to finish quickly. The lady proceeds to put the eye mask to tape down my lower lashes, but she did it too close to my eye and now I've had an irritated right eye for 2 days. The worst part of this was hygiene. Even while wearing a mask, her bad breath was seeping through it. If you're gonna be that close to someone's face for a period of time, you have to have good breath. But no, this lady was breathing out her hot stinky breath onto my face and I got pink eye. Maybe I should've told her to brush her teeth or chew gum but I didn't want to be rude. Another mention, the lady was actively burping in my face, and for her loud burps she would move her body a little but still burped extremely inappropriately. I felt like a fish out of water trying to breath every time she moved away. I heard some cutting sounds and tugging at my natural lashes, and couldn't help but fear that she was cutting my natural lashes. I asked her, "what is that cutting sound" but she denied and said if needed, she only cuts one or two lashes. I heard the cutting sound at least 7 times. All being said, I will never come back here. Hygiene and service are both terrible. I wouldn't recommend anyone coming here unless you want to get pink irritated eyes and lashes that don't last. It's been two days and they're already falling apart.
