I've been here twice now, and I honestly have had such a great experience both times! My first visit was 20% off, which was an amazing bonus, and from the beginning everyone has been so friendly and welcoming. The retention of my lashes has been so good! Normally, I feel like I need a fill around the 2-week mark, but this time I probably could have waited until the 3-week mark. I personally like my lashes a little fuller, so I decided to come in for my second fill today. What I loved even more was that I somehow got the same lash artist who did my lashes the first time, which was amazing! She remembered the style I had gotten before, and she did such a beautiful job again. She is so gentle and sweet that I literally fell asleep multiple times during my appointment because I was so relaxed. The glue doesn't burn or irritate my eyes either, which is a huge plus for me. The salon itself is clean, relaxing, and comfortable, and I really appreciate the little details. One thing that stood out to me is that my lash artist always lets me know that she's going to wash her hands before starting. It may seem like a small thing, but it makes me feel safe and reassured that everything is sanitary. And I have to mention the free goodies they give every single time! AVOID THIS PLACE! I frequently get my lashes done by other businesses and I have never experienced something like this. I called asking for a walk-in appointment (thankful they took me in) and asked for manga style lashes. They didn't know what it was (most popular lash style these days) but I just decided to try anyways since it was local. So I walk in, pick my lash style, and lay down on the bed. First of all, they don't wear any standard clothes, the lash tech was wearing see-through loungewear. The places I go to usually wear scrubs or something clean. I lay down on the bed, no casual conversation, just seemed like she wanted to finish quickly. The lady proceeds to put the eye mask to tape down my lower lashes, but she did it too close to my eye and now I've had an irritated right eye for 2 days. The worst part of this was hygiene. Even while wearing a mask, her bad breath was seeping through it. If you're gonna be that close to someone's face for a period of time, you have to have good breath. But no, this lady was breathing out her hot stinky breath onto my face and I got pink eye. Maybe I should've told her to brush her teeth or chew gum but I didn't want to be rude. Another mention, the lady was actively burping in my face, and for her loud burps she would move her body a little but still burped extremely inappropriately. I felt like a fish out of water trying to breath every time she moved away. I heard some cutting sounds and tugging at my natural lashes, and couldn't help but fear that she was cutting my natural lashes. I asked her, "what is that cutting sound" but she denied and said if needed, she only cuts one or two lashes. I heard the cutting sound at least 7 times. All being said, I will never come back here. Hygiene and service are both terrible. I wouldn't recommend anyone coming here unless you want to get pink irritated eyes and lashes that don't last. Ok ya'll this place has me giddy at almost 41 years old!!! I was cruising insta this morning and a lash lift popped up. I was like why haven't I thought about doing this before? Then brow lamination videos came in and I was like dang those look nice! So I ventured to Yelp and accidentally put in a project search for the above mentioned items and it messaged local places. They made an appt for me on the spot a couple hours later. From start to finish the experience was great! I've been going to Vavi Lashes for over two years and used to absolutely love their services. I've tried nearly all of their technicians, and by far the best was Lya--she was truly exceptional. Since she left, however, the experience hasn't been the same. Unfortunately, the last four visits have been disappointing. My eyes have become increasingly sensitive and irritated after each appointment. During my most recent visit, another client actually came in asking to have her set removed because it was hurting her, which made me feel like I wasn't alone in my concerns. I ended up removing my lashes today, and the technician who helped me mentioned that they've had several clients with similar issues lately. I asked for a full refund given my long-standing loyalty, but was only told "we'll see when you come in"--no real offer of resolution. Sadly, I won't be returning.
