I have really struggled with this review. I've been going to this nail shop for about 2 years and they do EXCELLENT work! That is not my issue. I look forward to their cute decorations for every holiday there is. So cute! I had a stroke a couple of years ago and they are extremely accommodating to my weak left side. I leave heavy tips because of that. Heavy meaning $10 and $20 on top of the $120 - $160, depending on what I have done. But I went in about a week ago and the decorations were all about USA, AMERICA, everything was red white and blue. But what really disturbed me were the "1917 star ornaments" that were hanging on the tree. Well that was not a favorable time for Black ppl. So all while I'm getting my nails done I'm looking at all of this and being reminded of the past and current state of America. But in case ICE rolls up, they can say "Hey, we are on your side. We love the racism you're displaying to the Latinos, but we are good. We are with you." I don't hate anyone. The White ppl in their were ok. There were a couple of looks, which I expected. But nothing was said to me. Thank God. Am I mad at this shop? I mean I get it. But at the same time it was very insensitive to Black ppl. That's all I wanted to say. I'm not even mad about all the USA stuff. But those mf ornaments blew me away. This is an update regarding my last visit about 2 weeks ago. I came in on a weekday morning for a manicure and was able to get serviced immediately. The store was clean and cutely decorated for Christmas and they provided me a complimentary beverage. I got the French tip gel manicure and my nails are still in perfect shape! Times when I got a French tip at other nail salons, the paint would chip after a week. I got multiple compliments from my friends. This will be my go to salon going forward. read more

I got gel x done here on March 29th, all of my nails have fallen off as of April 1. The first nail fell off on March 30th. I am on a trip so I cannot go get it fixed. Nails were coming off as she was doing them, and I insisted that this will not work, but another technician said it will work out. I'm used to coming here for pedicures, but I'm not going to even come here for that because my pedicure is already chipping off. I'm really upset because we went back-and-forth on this and they did not listen to me. So I will not be coming back here and I will not be recommending them to my family and friends, especially before a big trip. So much for being Fendy and trendy. I went to take off my gel nails, and clean up my nails. they messed up my nails and this is how one of my nails looked like after I went home. First time I went it was 10$ only, second time it was 15$ despite me going only two weeks after. I don't recommend, they up charge depending on who's at the cashier they don't always go by the same price. read more

I haven't been here in years and wanted to give it a try but they charged me 15 to remove my gel on my pedicure and 30 for the pedicure. They didnt soak off my nails so it took longer than it needed. Her application for the acrylic overlay is so thick and isnt touching my cuticle so the polish application doesn't look nice. I'm sad and I couldn't tip sadly because both services cost 100$ total and that's all my cash. I won't be back. I wish Derek still worked here he was my favorite! I absolutely enjoy this nail salon. I would call it a place to escape and unwind even. The ambience is festive, currently fall, and inviting. Its atmosphere will get you into the spirit of any Holiday. As a little perk, which I thoroughly enjoy, is a free drink as you are pampered. I always get the lemonade but I've seen others get an iced coffee drink and even champagne. I'd like to shout out my nail technician, Nina. I have visited this place about 10 times now. Each visit is the same, in a good way. I value consistency. First off, it's clean and bright. It's always decorated beautifully - and during the holiday season it really shines. When you come with a friend they try to seat you together for the service which is nice as most places don't care or don't try to do so. They offer a self-service candy bar at the front right when you walk in. Help yourself to a nice selection of candy to eat while you're relaxing during your service. You also get one free beverage (they have Vietnamese coffee, sodas, water). I have only come for gel pedicures so I can't comment on any other service. The pricing is competitive, baseline is $35 and it goes up. Every service you want adds a little more $ - callus removal, more massage time, hot towel wrap, etc - If you're getting gel add $10 to each package you pick. If gel French manicure add another $5 on top of that. I have worked with a lot of nail techs there (I don't have a preference) and they've all done a great job. They are all kind, considerate, and never make you feel rushed no matter how busy they get. *their foot massages are the only downside. They have all been weak. I like a good strong foot massage and I've never gotten one here. I believe the owners work the front reception (a male and a female who are always there and seem authoritative) and they are always so polite and nice when greeting you and checking you in. They also walk the floor and wipe down windows, fluff pillows, offer you drinks. It really adds a nice touch. Is getting your nails done pricey? Yep. Does it feel worth it coming here? Yes. I normally don't write reviews but I had to for this nail salon. I've been getting my nails done for over 15 years and never once have my acrylics, gel, dip powder, or Gel X nails lasted more than two weeks. I always thought it was because I work a lot with my hands, they're often wet, or maybe I just don't take care of them properly. Ever since I started going to Sophia, that completely changed. I've been seeing her for about five months now and every set has been flawless. My nails never lift, never break, and grow out beautifully. Sometimes I even wait just to see how long they'll last, and honestly, if I didn't have events or things to do, I think they'd last until they completely grew off my nail bed. Sophia has done acrylics, Gel X, and this new tapping gel on me, and every single one has lasted three to four weeks or even longer. I don't know what kind of magic she's using but my nails have never looked or lasted this good. Highly recommend Sophia. She's a perfectionist and truly the best nail tech I've ever had. read more

I've been here maybe 5-7 times for a full set or waxing. They are always professional, friendly, and fast. They always answer the phone and are good with walk-in's on a weekday. Everything is super clean, and they're one of the few nail salons that I see uses proper sanitation for pedicures. You can go to most of their nail techs and turn out with a great design. I really wanted to like Fendy Nail Salon because of the convenient location and last-minute availability, but unfortunately, the gel manicure I received chipped in less than a week. For context, my last gel manicure from another salon lasted almost two full months without a single chip--only needing a refresh due to nail growth. The difference? My previous nail tech was meticulous. She capped the edges properly and even explained what she was doing to ensure the gel bonded securely. Her work held up beautifully. At Fendy, the technician did not cap the edges at all, which is basic technique for long-lasting gel. When that step is skipped, it compromises the durability of the manicure. It makes me wonder if this is intentional to get clients to return sooner than necessary. If you do choose to come here, I strongly recommend asking them to cap the edges of your nails. A gel manicure should last well beyond a few days. Lesson learned--I'll be going back to my regular tech who does it right, even if it takes a little more effort to get on her schedule. read more

Fendy appointments are a gift I give myself. Lash extensions review: if you have ever considered getting lash extensions, do yourself a favor and book an appointment with Jolie. I wouldn't trust anyone else with glue near my eyes - see my before and after picture to highlight that even those of us with very thin and sparse lashes can rock a natural looking extension! Nail review: I often go with a friend for quick manis (gel dip nails) and love that it makes it easier to feel put together no matter what the work or personal life brings during the week. I've tried their manis and pedis on the chairs, have done nails with and without tips, have had friends do the chrome over their nails (extra coat but looks stunning), acrylic, gel, ombre dip...it's all good. I love that I can make appointments online if I don't want to talk to a human. You check in on a tablet when you get there and have a few chairs as a waiting area. They offer complimentary beverage, but they are also ok if you bring your own (I'll sometimes stop at the nearby coffee shop). All the technicians seem very knowledgeable and competent, and if there is something you don't like are very accommodating about fixing anything (please tell them when you first notice and don't wait till the end). I think I'll try some designs next time I go. Went here with a group of 4 and immediately, I was drawn to how busy they were. It's always a plus to see a business thriving. We had an appointment for pedicures and we went with the package deal C I believe and it was $50. They didn't offer me a mimosa which apparently comes with the package because they saw I had brought in my coffee by the time I realized this I was already done. I didn't care for the constant nagging and eyerolls for us to purchase the upgrades it made my experience here unpleasant. We were very clear on what we wanted for our appointment. When we didn't go for the upgrades I felt the work on our pedicures were rushed and we didn't get the full experience others have rated 5 stars. I usually enjoy this place but the last 2 times coming (today included) I was overcharged for something I didn't ask for. The first time we came last weekend to get my daughter's nails done and they had us wait in the pedicure chairs without water or without help for about 30 minutes before I decided to leave. This time I came for my pedicure that I was waiting for last time, and I was charged for gel polish when I did not ask for gel polish. In fact, the technician didn't ask if I wanted regular polish or gel.
