I was looking for a new nail salon in my area and decided to stop by here. I was recommended by Yelp. Luckily they took me right in with no appointment. This place looks very small but it wasn't busy and that's the way I like it lol. Holly did my nails today, just what I wanted. Thank you soo much.
Went in yesterday evening for a full set and couldn't be more disappointed. I asked for my nails to curve and I had such high hopes with her work until the globs of acrylic were applied and filing started - she filed them til they were straight - I'm not a fan of the straight nail trend, hence asking for curved. They're so thick, poorly shaped, and messily painted. Polish was pooled in the cuticles of both pinky's and left on the sides of most of my other fingers. Still peeling off acrylic from my fingertips. I was left with cuts that are still burning today. Waste of an hour and $50. UPDATE 01/27: This business does not back up their own word. Gesture of goodwill? I went in for my offered refund this morning and was treated horribly. She immediately started slamming paper towels and the Altoid can of drill tops on the table that she had me sit down at. Speaking to each other in their language with an obviously angry tone. Was told they wouldn't do anything unless I removed the review, so I wonder how many honest reviews have been removed. I asked to speak to Hoa (who wrote the message) I guess they weren't there. Keep the $50, not worth the refund to be treated that way when the proof of horrible work is literally on my fingertips. A shady business that doesn't stand behind anything they offer.
If you're looking for a nail salon in the Cypress area, I recommend Q Nails. I highly suggest requesting your nail service with Holly. As it was my first time doing Gel X nails, Holly made me love them (very comfortable and lightweight on my natural nails) and I even came back a second time to do the same shape and color! The color I got was a bright red color and I requested for an almond shape -- I showed her a picture of the shape I wanted. At Q Nails, the ladies always make me feel welcome when I walk in. I always message them on Yelp a week prior to make an appointment for the week after. Unfortunately, I had to wait at least 10-15 minutes during my past 2 appointments as Holly was with another client during my set appointment time, but the service is great so I can't complain too much. The salon is definitely less busy after 5-6pm if you're looking to come when it's not as busy. Nonetheless, the salon is clean, there is plenty of parking outside (It is shared parking with other business offices), and they always provide a small water bottle during my service. Additionally, they are reasonable in their prices. I paid around $45 for the service for these Gel X nails and also provided tip. Any time I'm looking to get Gel X nails, I always come to Q nails.
My toes were feeling a little neglected. So happy I stumbled upon this place in Cypress on accident. I messaged them and was able to get an appointment for a gel pedicure within the hour with Holly on a Saturday morning. Super cute spot and I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in. Staff was very friendly and met all my expectations. They went above and beyond to keeppampered. The massage style chairs were exactly what I needed. Lots of extras such as sea salt rub and a holiday decal to bling up my toes. Plenty of colors to choose from. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to be pamperred.

This is my 2nd review and I believe my 3rd visit to this location. I love it so much! I have been to beyond "designer" Salons and often times they lack in the customer service because of the ambiance being upscale. Furthermore, you pay a great deal of money for the "look" because often times the SERVICE is subpar !! With this being said... Q Nails is a diamond in the rough. If you struggle with anxiety like I do... I notice you don't see this often in reviews (this is crucial in salons and restaurants for me) and you need a low key , tucked away , quiet place , and they don't mind turning the fluorescent lighting down so you can enjoy your pedicure with low lights.. this is the perfect spot!! The Luxurious Pedicure is amazing and smells wonderful! You get to pick your specific package & scent I love the ORANGE . Also, very important The massage is great pressure !! Often times the foot massage just feels like a toddlers hands... not here!! They put pressure! Rose does my nails! She also does massage while you get nails if you ask them. They are fun! We talk about funny stuff So it's nice to have someone who cares about talking with the customer! Tracey is great! Tracey likes to where RED Jk. She's great! Omg, I forgot the guy .. I promise to remember ALL names next time ... he's beyond fabulous with making you feel welcome and valued! True story! He will ask if you need a blanket to keep warm, the cutest keychains , snacks, water, soda, this time .... I brought a new friend to show this salon and he literally walked across the street to 711 and got the ice to make her Vietnamese coffee You guys... often times people thrive on complaints in hospitality! It doesn't get deserved due credit! I will bring my mother , my daughters , friends and I always stay with who I like for along time! I have yet to return for any breakage or anything!! I know "shit happens " sometimes but.... I haven't had to yet! Let me point this out both times I retuned my pedicure could of stayed on for another week or two but I love pedicures SO MUCH that I wasn't gonna sit there and NOT get my feet done lol!! To conclude my lengthy review ... anybody can make a salon look fabulous as often times I say "looks get you in the door , they don't KEEP you in the room".. Q-Nails is a shining example in defining this whole heartedly
The worst nail experience with poor management, poor skills in filing/ painting, and not to mention they don't carry any brand products. It started okay in the beginning, I made an appointment and I got to sit down right away as I was the only customer. Then, the lady who did my pedi jumped to help another customer while I was waiting. Then, the host lady, who was friendly but doesn't seem to know how to do filing, started to work on my nails. Worst of all, she was not wearing a mask whole time. There's State regulation in effect now that all must wear mask indoor, regardless of the vaccination status. When she was done, I had to wait for 15 mins for other staff to do my mani. I have to say, she really needs to spend her time to practice. My nail got shorter and shorter as she randomly keeps filing my nail. The shape I started off was the round and I ended up with short square for some reason; and all edges around them are messy, looks like I just did it at home. Overall, It took 2hrs to get my mani and pedi done. I even paid for tips as a courtesy, but will NEVER go back. I would recommend to go other salons if you are looking for nice looking nails. Mines are not, unfortunately.
I just got my gel mani done by Holly. I'm obsessed. I've lived in Cypress my whole life and have tried out different nail salons in the area but I was never happy, so I would drive to Huntington Beach just to get my nails done.. but not anymore! They have a large selection of gel colors and they do dip too. I'm so happy I found this place. I will definitely be going back!
Such a great nail salon! The customer service was on point, my nails are flawless, and they have an array of colors and styles available for customers. I can't wait to go back for my bachelorette party nails! They also have an IG for inspiration, and they have Halloween styles ready for you to look at and choose from. For someone like me who has no idea what she wants, this was awesome.

I got My nails done there for my first time and they did gel x. So far so good! There was no wait, the service was excellent a mom and her daughter. I had to take my kids with me and when my little one woke up she entertained him so I can finish up and she had the tv on for my toddler so they were calm. My mom and I have been coming here for about 6 months now and love it!!!! The girls are so sweet and the nails are amazing and LAST. I get a full month before I need to come in for a fill. The prices are amazing and they are so sweet! When I have to bring my daughter with me, She's two, they help by putting on kids shows for her if the entertainment I brought stops working. They listen to what you want and do great work! I will continue to recommend to all my friends and all the strangers I meet who complement my nails! read more

I took my grandma and I here yesterday to get a mani and a pedi. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be back!! Tracy and her fiancé, Harry, along with his mother Holly were all working. They were such kind people and made out experience very fun and relaxing. Harry was very friendly and offered us water and such. UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP Excellent services! Saw Holly today for a pedicure and fill for nails. They are very accommodating as the rest of the reviews have stated. Holly is very experienced having many many years of experience working with a wide and diverse range of clients here and in other states as well. She knows her stuff!!! Holly stays very current with trends and is spot on with all the designs she offers. She has a portfolio of her work available (ask Tracey) if you need inspiration. I have been coming to this salon for over 6 years, minimum. Prior to Holly this was owned by Nancy. The hours before and after the Pandemic were limited, although Nancy was super sweet and did a great job. Prior to that was Carmen and Eliza, mother and daughter. They did a terrific job though sold the shop and changed careers. Super excited about the direction Holly and her family are going in. Consistent and longer hours. Seriously, they have the largest assortment of colors and manufacturers of products of any place I've seen! Holly's two adult children assist her. Tracey, her daughter is very well spoken and reliable with answering the phone, setting appointments and helping provide terrific customer service while utilizing social media. She "gets it." Holly's son, Harry can be found there afternoons and week-ends. Very friendly and you can tell he wants everyone to have excellent service. Bottom line, I believe in supporting small businesses and this one definitely deserves a try, if you are unhappy with your current services or want to try something new. After seeing pictures of all of Holly's work, I felt my color and design choice was boring. But it works for me so I have included a picture. read more

Just moved here and after reading a ton of reviews decided to try Q Nails and Spa. Absolutely loved it! John did my toes, Holly did my fingers. Plenty of gel colors to choose from. They gave out cold water bottles and had a very relaxing atmosphere. They did a great job, gel wasn't too thick like some places. Harry was very friendly and made sure everything was good. As a bonus, Tracey handed me 2 hair scrunchies as a thank you for coming in! I will definitely be coming back. Thank you! read more

First time at this salon and definitely not the last. I got a gel manicure in the color 054 mud oak. This is what they looked like after 3wks! I've never had a gel manicure last this long. I also received this cute hair tie which is now my favorite. Holds up my hair very nicely. Holly did an amazing job and customer service was top notch! read more

I have been to many nails salon but this family run business by far stand out to all of my previous experience! I make a pretty late walk in to their store at 6:25 p.m but Holly didn't even rushed my set. The lady who did my pedicure was phenomenal with her massage and trim! I was offer snacks and drinks while they performing their services. They were very careful and attentive with great attention details! Look at my nails! It was bumpy and out of shape before and they turn it into a piece of art! Though they were busy with other clients. I was pleased with Tracy customer service. She also let me have Christmas gifts for my children after the end of my service! I went out for a mother and daughter date day and had a fabulous experience. This was my first time getting my nails done in a very long time and I decided to get a nice girly design. I didn't know exactly what I wanted and was given the social media accounts of q.nails.and.spa and anhhongvu69 (Hong Vu's page) to reference. The atmosphere was amazing and I felt extremely welcomed and comfortable. This is a family run business, and they truly make you feel like you are a part of their family. I was offered snacks and water from the moment I sat down and the small talk while getting my nails done felt genuine. We were politely asked if we were okay with having our nails posted to social media and given a hair scrunchie that matched my nails perfectly. Love this place. I don't usually get my nails done but when I do, I come here! There's a couple nail salons near my work but I always come here. I got a gel manicure for $30 plus tip. This is my nail new spot.. the lady and her daughter are so sweet.. on my second visit they removed my old nails for me and it litterally took her 30-40 minutes and we decided it was best for my nails to take a break (they was getting too weak) and then they charged me $0... THE DAUGHTER WOULDN'T EVEN ACCEPT MY TIP :( i really wanted her to accept my money but she insisted it was okay I wanted to cry bc that was sooo sweet... I can see that not only are they hard working people but they are really good people with caring hearts. That's really rare to find..I'm so grateful I found this place.
