I have been seeing Sara but this is my first time visiting her new location. The new place is located on the second floor above 7-eleven. Sara has a bubbly personality and she is quick (less pain)! Unfortunately, she is out this week but I need my sugaring done urgently before an upcoming trip in a few days. Sandra did the sugaring for me this time. She has such a lovely personality. She was supportive and made me feel comfortable. Sara surely knows how to find great people :) I wish Sandra could go slightly quicker on the pulls so it would be less painful. I am flabbergasted at what a WONDERFUL experience I had with Sandra and also Sarah who works the phone and rings you up. The owner's name is also Sarah just fyi. Their new location is on the second floor in suite E just above 711. They are no longer in the Solana salons like other reviews state. They book appointments via text only. You may get lucky and book the next day like I did, but I'd book in advance a few weeks if you can. From the moment I walked in, the place felt so so good. It's decorated so adorably. They really put so much effort in making the space feel warm and inviting. It doesn't feel arrogant or pretentious. So so homey. This was my first time sugaring the bikini area. I had laser one time before, but decided not to continue that process. I randomly found this place on here and texted and got in the next day with Sandra. I got lucky!! As someone who has very sensitive skin and can't shave due to rashy razor bumps and can't wax, I'm thrilled to go through this process. Sandra was AMAZING! She was warm and bubbly and made me feel so comfortable. I literally was laughing the whole time because that's what I tend to do when in different situations. It makes for a comedic and fun experience because everyone loves laughter. Sandra was professional and made the process easy and quick. I felt like I met a new friend that I've known forever. Might have just found my favorite sugaring spot and I've gone to 3. First of all, the shop is nice and very welcoming. The staff is very friendly. The girl that did my sugaring is Revy? Remy? Sorry, I'm not remembering clearly. Anyway, she is literally the most thorough waxer and I appreciate it. All my other sugaring appointments are done in 10 minutes, but here, it took 30minutes because they are just that meticulous! She made me feel so comfortable and again, did the best job clearing out ALL the hair. I definitely recommend this place! It is quite a drive but I am willing to drive that far for the greatest sugaring service ever. read more

I can't believe my first review was over 3 years ago! I've been to a few other places in between my visits with Sara (she gets busy - so always pre-book your visits) and I have to admit, nothing compares to here. Sara really goes above and beyond to make sure your Brazilian is perfect! She is one of the few places that will wax your happy trail and tweeze out any additional hairs. Sara is super quick - but definitely does not rush the process at all. I usually go every 5-6 weeks and every time we catch up in our appointment it's like no time has past at all. Her rooms are so inviting and well designed - you must check out the product room for your purchasing needs. I appreciate that she changes the bed sheet after every appointment... some places have it like a "treatment room" and will replace the paper on the bed without sanitizing anything else. Oh my goodness. Sara is a life saver. I've only had 3 Brazilians before Sara and they were the worst experiences. I had a HORRIBLE reaction to the hard and soft wax and as much as my old waxer did her best to help me recover after the fact, I didn't realize the lack of knowledge and care she provided until I tried sugaring with Sara. First of all, Sara is located at Sola Studio so I promise, when you arrive, you're not lost. Sara had me come in earlier than my scheduled appointment which was perfect since I was already in the area. Things got backed up though when I arrived so I did wait an extra 15 minutes. Regardless, Sara was apologetic, professional, and VERY accommodating given it was my first time with her. When we got started, Sara noticed off the bat ingrown hairs that needed to be observed and taken care of as well as damaged skin from my previous Brazilians. I was impressed at how fast she caught them and how she informed me. Right away, she came up with a solid plan to advance healing and overall maintain them long term before considering a dermatologist. Yeah, my old waxer really screwed me over. The process was fast and less painful than I expected it to be. She offered great aftercare advice and I even purchased the oil from her that I'm excited to use in order to get my skin health down there back to normal. To be honest, when I left the salon, it felt like nothing happen. All COMFORT. I will never go anywhere else ever again thanks to Sara's personality, expertise, and services. I had a Brazilian on the 22nd and I wanted to wait a little while before writing a review, I have to say my girl has never looked better!!! I had a such a great experience and she was so sweet and made me feel so comfortable! She walked me through the wax and explained the after care and also put some vitamin E oil and fur oil! She explained the benefits and I was even given a small sample to take home a gift for my first time! I have used it since my wax and OMG! my "girl" is looking so pretty!!! I so recommend getting a wax at Oh Honey you won't be disappointed! I had my armpits waxed at my eyebrows place. They were not gentle or caring that it was my first time. I thought to myself as I laid on the table in agony, "I WOULD NEVER DO A BRAZILIAN". However I really liked the results on my armpits I thought maybe there could be someone whose caring and gentle??!! Well I found her and her name is SARA AND SHES AMAZING!!!! Experience 1: first time here I was nervous and was being extremely awkward. Sara made me feel comfortable and I felt like she was my friend. She explained everything in detail and told me it was going to hurt & that is was part of the process. She made sure to remind me to take a deep breath every time she pulled. She did her very best to make me feel the less pain as possible. Sara shared words of positivity to motivate me to keep it up!! After the wax, Sara sprays some cold water, fur oil and baby Aquaphor to reduce the swelling or irritation. As time has gone by, the pain has reduced significantly and even with COVID place, my last Brazilian was in March with Sara. I went back this week and felt all the nervousness from the first time. I'm super bummed to leave this review because I had such high expectations. I visited 3 times, 2 different sugar artists and just not a good time. My first experience went super great. It was my first Brazilian ever. I saw Sandra and she was awesome and talked me through it. I was estatic with the results and experience as a whole so I made a follow-up appointment based on the time frame she said to return. My 2nd experience didn't go as well. I was running late, which was an issue on my side. I called to inform them i was running behind and they said to still come in. When I walked in Sandra rudely rushed me into her studio. Rushed through the service and made a comment regarding my body that made me extremely uncomfortable and quite frankly was rude and uncalled for. I figured she didn't mean anything by it and decided to rebook with her in hopes it was just a bad day. When I got home I noticed multiple spots she missed. Disappointed but not wanting to give up, I decided to try another artist. My 3rd visit I scheduled with Eylse. (Honestly at this point I'm not 100% sure what her name was). She seemed chill and like she knew what she was doing. She started and about 2 minutes in pulled out wax strips to finish the entire job. Not only did she also miss spots but I ended up with a huge blood blister and a massive amount of ingrown hair. All three visits my bikini line was completely ignored. I'm super bummed because I read so many exceptional reviews about this location and have followed them on social media since before Sarah opened the studio. I personally will not be returning here due to my experiences but I hope this helps to build better practices so they can continue to be successful. I am not trying to be mean and hold no grudge, I wanted to share my experiences. For me, self care is a really big thing for me and I put a lot of consideration into how I go about it. A series of events led me to Oh, Honey! Sugaring. I usually get waxing treatment done and had advanced appointments lined up with my regular waxing service provider. Due to an emergency plumbing issue, the facility closed and I was advised they will re-open once the issue was resolved. However, that wasn't the case. They simply closed permanently (as I see on Yelp) with no instructions or call. I had the remainder of my unspent package left. I was at a loss, needed a wax big time, and simmering with anger at being ripped off. I found Oh, Honey! Sugaring and never looked back. Maybe it was the ridiculously cute name that drew me, but the reviews left were positive. My first appointment and later ones were great! If you are new to sugaring (like I was), Sara talks you through the entire process, making you completely at ease. She's a pro at what she does because in no time at all, she was done and I noted how different sugaring was from waxing -- all natural and no harshness; and my skin felt smoother, not the usual burn. After the sugaring, Sara provides post treatment instructions that are important to follow to avoid dry skin and ingrown hairs. She's awesome. I got into sugaring after watching a video on YouTube about the benefits of sugaring, and I turned here to yelp to look for a sugaring service near me. And I can say, the reviews are solid. I have seen Sara since before she moved to her new location, and I have loved the results with my underarms and legs. I am not a shaver, and I appreciate how I have been encouraged to not shave in order for my sugaring to come out as best it can. Sara has treated me warmly, and I appreciate our comforting chats.
