I had just gotten my first Brazilian wax here today and it was such a smooth and quick process thanks to Char! She was so sweet and she was very efficient in informing me of what she was doing during the process of the wax and she was very verbal about everything which helped me relax as well. The pain was there when the wax was hapoening, but she helped mitigate the pain as much as possible and I recommend getting the hydrojelly mask service done as well if it's the first time as well. I got so so lucky and went here for my very first Brazilian 2 years ago. Cue an extremely quick, low pain, and comfortable appointment! I am an absolute weenie, I despise pain. This was so easy, sure it takes your breath away but it doesn't hurt for more than an actual second. I purchased a Groupon for a Brazilian wax and I'm glad I did. I usually look at reviews for a good wax and it did not steer me wrong. Char was great which is why I gave 5 stars. I never mentioned when I made the appointment that I had a Groupon but right when I came into her salon I told her and she was very accommodating. I love that about her! She was very sweet and personable. She made me feel very comfortable. She was also quick and efficient. My appointment only lasted 5 minutes. I really left with such a great impression about her. I purchased a Groupon for Superlative Wax on a whim during a short burst sale and it was worth every penny! Purchased: 3 Brazilian wax set I made an appointment with Char via text but traditionally, you make an appointment according to her availability on her website. She is only available 3 days a week, luckily for me... one of those days was a Saturday! She does require a credit card to make an appointment just in case you're a flake, there is a fee for no-shows. Char is located at suite 126 in the Sola Salons next to the Baskin Robins. Her work space is clean and organized! She uses cornstarch instead of baby powder bc of the whole talc and Johnson-and-Johnson cancer lawsuit. She also uses a hard wax and always uses a new stick per wax application. If she uses a tweezer, she takes it from the sanitizing liquid and it goes back in there when she's done. She also wipes down her work station (the chair) before and after each client. The Brazilian is so fast! 15 mins and she did a great job. She was straight to the point and I never felt uncomfortable. She was able to articulate herself well in sharing service policy changes due to covid (ie waiting outside, keeping your mask on, & use of medical grade cleaning supplies). Had a little trouble finding the salon but once i found Char in suite 126 it was a great experience. Her salon is very clean and tidy, She has nice decor. She shares it with her partner who works opposite Char's hours. I didn't know Char only uses hard wax which i had never used before. So i was a little nervous. But she made me feel so super comfortable with her professionalism and friendliness. I will only he hard wax from now on! No issues at all redeeming said voucher. Char is great! Very sweet and funny, and FAST. Was so nice and made sure to walk through each step of her process. I was super comfortable the entire time and so glad I took a chance on this Groupon. She has great loyalty client deals too, which I plan on taking advantage of :) place is easy to find and her spot is also easy to find.
