Worst wax experience I've ever had. To start I asked for sugaring the person said yes we offer it (they don't). I purchased 2 waxing sessions and I left like 5 minutes into my first one because it was so bad. There was a bright light in my face that she wasn't concerned about and she was getting frustrated that I wasn't holding properly for her. "WOW" is unfortunately far from the reaction I had after my visit here. I purchased a Groupon and made an appointment directly through there for a Saturday. The facility is small and I was taken in a bit unprofessionally, as no one said hello, confirmed my name, appointment, or what service I was getting, and I was told to wait on a (dirty) chair. Soft wax was used which did hurt more than hard wax since the same cloth is reused for multiple passes and the same areas are gone over again and again. Her gloves were sticking to my skin as well making the experience less pleasant, and I had to hold my skin in certain ways for her (never had to do that elsewhere), leaving me with very sticky hands and wax on my fresh nails when I left. About half way through the service she let me know that if I wanted the butt strip it'd be an extra $10 despite having purchased a Groupon for a BRAZILIAN wax. I used to work at a waxing salon and have myself been to probably 6 different places for waxes before and never has a "Brazilian wax" not included the butt strip. They also DO NOT MENTION THIS anywhere in the fine print on the Groupon. I disappointedly agreed, she had me totally flip onto my stomach (which was also strange rather than pulling my knees to my chest), and she finished by taking a bottle of oil directly to my body/skin and dousing me in it. I'm concerned now about my pH balance and infection. Rather than tweezing missed hairs, she used a razor....isn't shaving what we want to avoid when paying for a wax? She went quite a ways down with the razor...so I'm not sure if major spots were missed and just shaved away, and I'll see some major re-growth in a couple days. I would definitely not ever be back again. The unpleasant, sticky, and oily experience coupled with the bait-and-switch charges for a "Brazilian" should make you think twice about doing business here. read more

This place is not sanitary. I don't recommend coming here. Although the ladies were nice, this place was not clean. My waxer was double dipping the wax and I pray she dumped it out after my appointment. She also walked out during mid session (which was fine because there were costumers coming in) but she went out with the gloves she was using on me and i did not see her change her gloves when she came back in. I even asked if she changes her gloves and she said she does every time but I never saw her change her gloves in the room. Definitely not coming back, even with the cheap Groupon deal. read more

The salon itself was very clean, nicely decorated and laid out with a nice selection of relaxing music playing in the background. Amy was very nice, professional, and did a great job. I got my first Brazilian wax with Ashley earlier today. Best Brazilian ever! So when I walked in I was throughly impressed. The place was super nice and spacious. Multiple waxing rooms, nice bathroom, serene music playing to keep you calm during your service. As all of us women know, Brazilian waxes hurt. Ashley's ability to calm me down and make the wax as pain-free as possible could be compared to how an RN calms down a patient in pain. I don't treat myself to Brazilian waxes as often as I'd like to be able to, but when I am able to treat myself with another one I'll definitely return to Ashley at WOW Waxing in Anaheim. Also one more thing I'd like to add. The wax was super fast. Definitely the fastest Brazilian I've ever had. TRASH! Because of language barrier, the staff assumed I was waiting for Ashley (owner). Although they had my booked appt at 11 am should've known my name is also Ashley. This error caused for me to be in the lobby for 30mins waiting for nothing. Once they attempted me, the work was awful, took over 45mins on a Brazilian wax and they charge Butt/crack separately. Tried giving it me for free for that error of having me wait. But I denied it because of how terrible the service was. The lady asked me gripping my own skin to assisted her pull back my skin since she didn't know how to wax properly. Leaving my hands dirty and at the end she left me full with oil on my Brazilian area. Through the process she would blow on the wax before applying it on my skin, which is unsanitary. Her gloves were so sticky from the wax it would grip onto my skin and hurt. She was touch equipment and touch me so unsanitary. Instead of using tweezers. She would pull the hair with her fingers. I left the room with so many hairs unwaxed, I've gotten many Brazilians in my life, this is the worst experience I've had. It was a HOT MESS, I doubt she is certified to be a technician. read more
