Not here for pharmacy, heard it's slow here, but it's everywhere lately. Just here to get some personal items, chips & candies. They got most of the stuffs that I like but they do have seasonal sales that could go up to 75% discount so...something I got things at really cheap and by luck too. Service is slow but friendly so can't say much. There is only one cashier at the register and I only see 2 only during holidays. Overall, they got what I needed and by luck, they're on sales. Parking is easy since they have their own parking and the store is clean, bright and airy. read more

Store Manager: Cruz Sandoval This Walgreens appears to be poorly managed. When I arrived, there were no employees working the front registers. I waited approximately 10 minutes for assistance. I politely tried to get the attention of the manager, who was working in the photo area, but he either did not hear me or chose not to respond. I waited a few more minutes, and still no one came to assist. After repeatedly waiting without help, I raised my voice simply to get someone's attention. Instead of receiving assistance, I was asked to leave the store--despite the fact that there were no cashiers available and no help provided. The store felt like it was running unattended. I have video footage showing how empty the registers were during this time. I do not recommend this Walgreens due to lack of customer service and poor management. I will be contacting corporate to report this experience. read more

No manager to be found in the store! Isn't the title "store" manager? Why on earth the store manager is working from home!? We went there three times on three different days and there is no manager. Customer: where is the manager? I would like to speak with him. Employee: He is home. I called him and he answered. What else do you want me to do? The response I got verbatim. I came here three times for a simple passport photo and even though advertised that they offer this instantly, I didn't get any and I was not offered a proper solution. The employee after speaking with the manager who apparently works from home and managing the store from home, told me to do a refund, repay and wait another 24 hours. That's no solution if it didn't work the first two times! Wasted three days, didn't get the digital photos we needed even though we expressed this was time sensitive. There was no sense of urgency, there was no regard to the service and no apology. None of it! Went to CVS after this terrible experience and got the passport photos in 10 minutes. Both paper and digital copies. Avoid this place if you can. read more

This store lies and sends out automated messages saying there's an insurance issue with your prescription and that it will take longer to fill order. I called them immediately af I received message and they verbalized there was no issue but they are really busy bc it's a Monday. Wtf? It took 4.5 hours to fill a tamiflu order. I have been coming to this pharmacy for 25 years. I will never be returning there again. First of all, I tried to call the pharmacy to try to clear a mixup between my insurance and the pharmacy. I was placed on hold for over 20 minutes just to have them hang up on me. After calling my insurance company , I found out that the pharmacy majorly screwed up my prescription with my insurance company showing that they requested 320 days of medication I never received instead of asking for a 30 day automatic refill. The pharmacist said it was a computer glitch which was hilarious! It was definitely somebody that inputted the wrong information. Then when I picked up my prescription and I opened the package in my car I realized they gave me a generic version of what I normally take without even telling me. That is a big no-no! With the type of medication that I take a generic version could have a totally different variation in ingredient and could have an adverse effect on me. When I went back they said that the medication I normally get is back ordered and they don't know when they're going to get it back in stock. Funny, I called a different pharmacy and they were fully stocked and having no problem restocking. I wasn't the only one in the pharmacy having issues as there were people getting very frustrated because their refills weren't ready after receiving phone calls that they were. this place is awful. I do not recommend getting any medication at this pharmacy. read more

If you need help in the photo center, I 100% recommend Cruz. He's so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I look forward to seeing him in the photo center each time I go, because he's helped me so much. I made a mistake on my first online order however he helped me multiple times with my next few orders and re-orders.He's just a great associate. read more

visited your Walgreens located at Harbor and Katella in Anaheim for the first time today at 8 pm looking for a product that their website said they had there. When I asked an associate for help, they told me to go and look myself, and if I couldn't find it, it's because they didn't have what I was looking for. I asked to speak with the manager, Teresa. I found her sitting at the main entrance, and she told me that if I hadn't found it, it was because they didn't have it. So I asked her to check their system and help me find another Walgreens nearby that might have it. Her great help was: "Just give me your phone number so you can see if it exists." Very bad service. Just cross the street to CVS and there's a 100% improvement in customer service. I will never visit a Walgreens store again, and I recommend CVS. The pharmacist is so unhelpful and overstressed. She refuses to listen...and won't help troubleshoot if you have any insurance issues...and she hung up on me twice when I tried to explain what my insurance told me to ask the pharmacy to do. Horrible!!! As a former Rite Aid customer...perhaps my expectations were too high but once I moved my prescriptions to CVS in Seal Beach, they figured it out and got it to go through no problem. There are certain issues that only your doctor insurance company and pharmacist can resolve no matter what you as the patient do and pharmacists need to know how to troubleshoot and resolve those issues. I would caution anybody with elderly parents to stay clear too, as she would absolutely not be helpful to them. read more

Finally when they do answer, the pharmacists are not very friendly whatsoever and answers my questions like I'm bothering her and wasting her time. I've been coming to this Walgreens for 20 years. And all of a sudden "bathrooms are closed". I looked at the woman sales associate and she looked to her lead/manager, who just said "bathrooms are closed." When I worked in retail, I at least said "sorry", or "unfortunately they aren't available right now". Also I was a paying customer to a very disheveled store. The card I got my mom for Mother's Day did not have a matching envelope readily available. The associate didn't mention that I didn't bring an envelope up with the card. I couldn't find anything in that card pile that hadn't been askew. After I put my items on the counter the took her time before starting to check me out. She tried to strike up a friendly conversation, but I was done. This Walgreens used to be a much nicer place to stop and shop for the little necessities, or sick day goodies. Not anymore. Not the first time I've had to deal with rude associates at this location either. read more

Not only is this pharmacy incompetent they are out right liars. I go there for a work comp prescription. 80% of the time they bill my regular insurance 20% of the time they actually get it right. Today I go there telling them they have to put it under work comp. I get the standard we don't have it in stock ( they don't have standard aspirin in stock). Every time I go there for ANY prescription they don't have it.., Next I get we don't have any work comp info under your name. This is a bold face lie...,they didn't want to do their job!!! Terrible customer service. After requesting a passport photo, Lady at the photo kiosk, asked us to hold on a minute. Then she proceeded to "work" in the back on something very "important." She started pricing items as we stood there and stared at her. After about 10 minutes, I asked her again for passport photos. She said, "Ya sure. I said you need to wait a minute." Then she went to the back room and closed the door. Needless to say. I understood why this store has single star reviews for the Photo Booth kiosk. I decided to leave and go elsewhere. Will never return to this store. As I was walking away from the booth, another customer walked up to say, he had been waiting for a while to check out but there was no one there. I spoke over the phone with Pendleton in the pharmacy. Even though this was not my regular pharmacy, he was extremely nice and patient. He took the time to listen to me and explained how the medication worked. I felt much comfortable after talking him. It was kind of urgent. My doctor's office couldn't answer my question and my regular pharmacy put me on hold forever. I really appreciate his help - he came to the rescue. He was like an angel to me ! The pharmacy gave me the wrong prescription. I realized it when I got home and opened it up. I called them and they said to bring it back tomorrow and they will refund and give me the correct prescription. I came back the next day and waited 15-20 minutes (long line) and got Ericka to help me. She wanted me to keep the wrong prescription and I said no that I needed the correct prescription. Btw, she has no people skills. She hollered from the back asking if I had opened the prescription I brought back. Finally, she said to wait and they would call me when it was ready. Well, I waited and I got a text message that it was ready but Erika nor anyone there bothered to call me to say it was ready. So I got back in line again and after 40 minutes I finally got the correct prescription from Ericka who was borderline rude during the transaction. Needless to say. Disappointed in my last vaccine booster appointment at the pharmacy. I checked in prior to my appointment time. A woman in line ahead of me was early for an appointment scheduled 30 minutes after mine but they took her before me. I didn't say anything because there weren't any other people waiting. 15 minutes after the other lady left they called me up to re-fill out the paperwork I had filled out on line because they "couldn't find it". I finally got my shot 45 minutes past my appointment time. It's really common curtesy to check in with a client when their appointment time time comes and goes by an excessive amount. It happens of course but poorly done not to acknowledge the delay. read more

Gina is ridiculous and I will be contacting corporate. I (49 years old) went in shortly before closing and she yelled to me, "we close in 2 mins." I responded that I was running. My girlfriend (53 years old) followEd me in. I got beer, saline wound wash for my cat and pine sol. When I went to check out, she wouldn't sell us the beer unless we both showed our IDs. Does this mean a parent with child could not buy beer? Obviously she wasn't too worried with time. There is no way that is Walgreens policy that everyone in the party needs an ID. It seems that, in a defunct medical industrial complex that does not serve the patient, this Walgreens is committed to putting patients first. The star pharmacist there is Pendleton. Yep, you heard right! Like the warm, flannel Pendleton that ensures warmth and security, Pendleton gives you his precious time in a timeless way. A good listener is the key to advocating for your own health. He gets it!!! Recently, had a prescription filled and it came back generic. The generic scip is not equal to the brand. PERIOD! Weirdest experience ever. Myself and my 30yr old, full beard, balding boyfriend, tried to buy beer. I'm not sure why, as it's not CA law but she refused to sell it to us. I understand not selling to teenagers and checking ID when people are near to underage and you're unsure. this was clearly a MAN and she refused. Not a huge deal as the item purchase itself. It just felt targeted. Sadly I'll be moving my prescriptions to another pharmacy. read more

Most helpful pharmacy I have EVER experienced. I care for my elderly mother and I had problems dealing with CVS. This Walgreens transferred all of her prescriptions over for me (I didn't have to make a single phone call to CVS about it). It's been about a year now and Walgreens has handled every need my mom has had, perfectly. They go the extra mile every single time, so that I can concentrate my efforts on my mom - instead of talking to insurance carriers and jumping through hoops. Best Walgreens in the neighborhood! I love this place, it's only about a street away from me and it's convenient when I need small things like shampoo or make up and I don't want to walk/ deal with parking at vons. I recommend getting the Walgreens card because they always have deals and it can be a pretty expensive trip if you aren't shopping for sales. They usually have deals going on for the vitamins (which we all know can get expensive) and it makes them extremely affordable! The customer service definitely seems to be getting better over time. It wasn't bad a few years back, it just seemed awkward and they wouldn't really say much to you other than your total. Now they actually ask if you need any help finding things, tell you to have a nice day, have a smile on their face, etc. read more
