On one of my recent Disneyland holiday vacations, I didn't realize until it was much too late, I hadn't packed a hairbrush or toothpaste for my trip. Since we were going to have a rope drop plan early at the Disneyland Resort, I needed something fast! As soon as we got up in the morning, I went to the Walgreens right next door to the Hilton Anaheim hotel located by the Convention Center It really worked out as the perfect way to rescue my morning. The store was open very early, not too crowded, and had every travel essential that I needed. In just minutes I was able to get toothpaste and a hairbrush, along with a few extra snacks to take with me to the park. Also, because of its great location, it would be an excellent place to visit if you are staying at one of the many local hotels or if you plan on taking the short walk to Disneyland. Walgreens is definitely one of those stores you will hope you never have to go into on your vacation however, you will be extremely happy that it is there when you do! Getting to that Walgreens helped me to quickly save my morning and get ready for the day and the long lines, on some of the rides, hours before the park opened! read more

My friends were staying at the Hyatt House, and I stopped by this Walgreens with them the night we got into Anaheim for a busy weekend in Disneyland. I only went to hang out, as my children were asleep in our own hotel, but it was pretty stupid of me to watch my friends stock up on supplies and not pick up any of my own. This is a Walgreens, so I'm not trying to oversell the place, but it was nice and useful, with a ton of branded Disney stuff in addition to whatever else you expect to buy at a Walgreens. I see other reviewers have noted the Disney merchandise is cheaper here than in the park. I'm quite sure they charged less for bottled water and soft drinks than the kiosks at Disneyland, where I ended up buying both in the following days. I wouldn't go out of my way to shop at this Walgreens, but I'd definitely recommend buying provisions if you happen to be there mere hours before a weekend in Disneyland. You might save $20 on beverages by learning from my mistake. read more

Walgreens has always offered convenience with the drive thru. However, there has been significant delays since they have taken over Rite-Aids customers. Definitely hoping for improved service times. read more

the most ghetto walgreens o have ever been to. they close the bathroom for customers at about8 pm but they cannot even give me a exact time when it closes. so yhen if you have a wesk bladder from a stroke you have to use yhe loo in various restaurants requiring a purchase then worse some mesn security guard says to me you are not allowed to park in this parking lot except being a guest of the hyatt hotel property owners even though i am actually a guest of another anaheim hyatt! and when i came back there to get my prescription he yelled at me for charging my electric car in the parking lot. there is no sign says hyatt guests only. he starts yelling and cursing at me get the f--- out of here. this one is the african american guy male guard who claims to be the head security guard read more

This walgreens has the disney souvenirs and clothing that is fraction of the price at Disneyland. They had star wars items, lilo and stitch, nemo and so many mickey and minnie mouse bags, keychains, magnets, cups, pens, paper. Parking lot is right next to the store and is surrounded by many hotels. This place is open 24/7 so no need to rush. read more

Came here to grab some snacks and medicine. I asked if they had some gluten free snack and the staff said "I don't know whatever is out there is there". What kind of answer is this? Customer service here isn't good. Items on shelves aren't as organized. I took the time to find alternate snack but came up empty. Oh well. Will try another location. read more

Just to be clear even if you have a reciept they will ask to scan your Driver's license! If you don't have one you will not get your refund! The manager said its our policy. Well have that policy by the register or let us know. Then they will short you some change becareful with this place. Will take my money somewhere else. read more

Had to pick up a prescription for myself and my daughters but our prescription was coming from NorCal Kaiser. The pharmacist worked with me and our pediatrician to get everything worked out, and got our medications ready for pick up right away! Excellent service! The staff at the store is pretty friendly and they have a bunch of last minute pick ups along with souvenirs for a lot cheaper than Disneyland! read more

Had to come here while vacationing to pick up meds. I had been at urgent care and they called in the meds yet after an hour (from the time I left urgent care, to driving here, to circling for parking, they were not ready). While this store has a parking "lot" it is shared/connected to a hotel and there is a starbucks there too so parking was a challenge. There was not one but 2 different delivery trucks dropping things off to either Walgreens or other businesses and blocking 6 parking spots. I had to keep driving around to get a parking spot and would have been blocked in by a truck but he was nice and didn't. The store itself looked clean and presentable but they did not have what I was looking for and the pharmacy took too long which was my main purpose for being here. read more

This store is falsely advertising prices and charging more for several items. Store management should take a look at how their price tag policy works as this is very different than how most Walgreens operate who match their tag prices when there is an error or even just confusion. See photos below for examples. The clerk refused to adjust the prices to match the tags and so I ended up returning everything and going to CVS. The explanation that the prices change sometimes is not an adequate one, especially when the explanation changes. CVS stuck to their advertised prices and ended up cheaper. read more

You are the best example of wonderful human beings! Last week we found out that it would rain on our engagement photoshoot. We also had our engagement clothes and umbrella go missing when we arrived in town. Needless to say, I was distraught. I went on DoorDash and ordered an umbrella with a special request to find a clear umbrella if possible. I honestly thought it might be too big of a request since I have never seen one in a store before... when the delivery came I was literally dancing with joy. I was so touched I cried. You turned one of our worst days around. THANK YOU for going the extra mile to help make our dream engagement photoshoot happen. We will pay it forward. read more

Walgreens - Convenience Stores Near Me - Anaheim, California

I love reading the mixed bag of comments for this location. Take a second and just scroll through, it's hilarious.... Done? Alright, so to sum up this location is convenient for tourists who are visiting Disneyland. It's of course marked up because of this, so lots of locals complain, even though the location is rreealllyyy not meant for them. Other things: (+) Compared to a typical Walgreens, the selection is large and the aisles are very wide (-) large homeless population because people don't realize outside of Disneyland, Anaheim and much of So-cal has a homelessness problem Like everything around the neighborhood, this place acts as a trap, all while being superimposed on the local community. Everything in context. read more

The Walgreens in Anaheim is your one stop shop for everything and anything you need! While spending the weekend in Anaheim to watch the Ducks play, I realized I had forgotten my eye drops and needed some water bottles as well. Since Walgreens was the nearest drugstore, we decided to stop there. This was the first time I had been in a Walgreens and was amazing by the vast assortment - from health related items to gifts. In fact, the prices for Disney gifts were unbelievable!! Mugs, T-shirts, stuffed animals and more for such a low price! Considering this Walgreens is only a few minutes from Disneyland, I would definitely recommend stopping here for souvenirs! read more

This is strictly for the pharmacy. They showed up 7 min late after their break. No urgency or apologies. My online meds said they were ready, they said give them 10min so I did, came back up, and amber said their not ready yet give us another 15min. With again no urgency to get the meds to me. Or apologies. Definitely not coming back to this one. Nor do I want to have amber "help" me again. Currently been waiting for 30min and still waiting. read more

Save your time and money this place is a rip off. Bought some insoles cost $30 target down the street has for $15 when came to return them manager refused to without ID even though I had the card. Over priced inventory and stupid return policies. I can see what Walgreens gets jacked everyday and is going out of business. read more

This was just down the street from our hotel while we were there for a Disney weekend, and it was great for a water and soda run. Great prices, people working there were nice and friendly. I stocked up on water and soda for 4 days at the hotel, and it worked out perfectly for us. I would absolutely choose to go here again if I am in the area. read more

Don't bother if you are here on vacation. They refused to fill my out of state prescription for my son's medicine. The pharmacy assistant even lied to me saying it was against the law and I needed to find a California doctor. Not true. Just go across the street to CVS. Better service and actually follow state law. read more

If you're in the area of Disneyland and wanting to go to a convenient Walgreens. Then this is the perfect place. It's so awesome. The staff here are so wonderful. There is also a CVS across the street. Also there's a convenient store by these two pharmacies. How cool is that? You can also schedule appointments for vaccinations here. The vaccination policy is also cool. read more

This is a newer location that opened on the opposite corner of it's main competitor (CVS) and is down the block from Disneyland. Like the across the street CVS, this location is open 24 hours and sells a lot of Disney merchandise to capitalize on it's location to the park. Unlike it's competition in general, Walgreen's has a better overall selection and this location is no different. While CVS likes to play stock gods, Walgreens offers a better overall selection of the same products. I'm not sure if it's a California thing or not, but this location also has a pretty decent hard liquor selection both behind the counter and in one of the aisles (none of the Walgreens in NY does that, that I know of). The employees here were generally ok. The store is bright and everything is clean and organized. Because of the selection, I found myself going here more than CVS (though CVS had a slightly better beverage option). The 24 hours of operation is very convenient to people staying in one of the area hotels (for Disney or the Convention Center) or even for locals who need to pick something up late at night. I'm not sure of the parking situation since I just walked here every time. Like the entire state does now, you get charged .10 for a bag if you want or need one. The bags are reusable and very sturdy. I only mention this because this was my first retail stop in California after 2 years and I only learned of this new law there. If you're familiar with Walgreens in general, the basic stock and prices are about what you'd expect. I will be returning to the area eventually and definitely plan on coming here again. read more

Was able to get my first Covid vaccine here yesterday! The pharmacy staff was great. They made the process very easy and quick. Casey was very helpful with getting the print out label for return with fedex. I had previously gone to two different Walgreens and none of them were helpful. Very clean and huge selection. I'm not surprised, since it's so close to large attractions and heavy foot traffic but I was very impressed!

Conveniently located next to Disneyland. This store was especially useful when we forgot stuff in the car and didn't want to walk back to get it. It's big and spacious, and carries everything you need. They even carry Disney themed merchandise. I was tempted to buy some Mickey ears or Disney hats, but figured I'd just buy it in Disney. And I like that they have a lot of mini versions of necessities. like mini sunscreen spray that fit in our small backpacks. or mini tampons that also fit. Overall, prices aren't too expensive. read more

In general I stay away from shit greens there prices are always 2x more,I checked online if that had something I was looking for they had it in store online the price said 5.43 however in-store there charge 2X I think it's stupid for them to have online and in-store price even Walmart price matches there own online read more

I came in here to develop my film from my camera, first thing they don't know how to take out the film and nearly exposed my pictures to sunlight. THERESA the shift lead was no help what so ever. She didn't know how to develop film or make the form for it. She's a shift lead, the other shift lead was no help either. ANDD one of the workers was telling me to go to Walmart, infront of the "shift lead" THERESA. She did nothing but agree with her. They were very rude. THERESA stormed off when I asked her why she didn't know how to develop film but she's a shift lead. Your supposed to know almost everything. I'm a shift lead at my work and this behavior would not pass. Theresa also said they barely started doing this film development, then why can't you do it now? It should be fresh in her memory. Do better. read more

This place is right down the street for Disney so imagine the prices a little higher than other locations it is in a new building but they still have some deals when you buy their brands. Each time I have went here I have always had a great experience with the associates. This goes to all the associates I've spoken with, thank you. With traffic the Walmart is like 5-10 mins away, is rather go here if I am in a pinch and need something asap. I am ok with the pricing because everywhere in that area is more expensive. The items here are good and they accept Apple Pay, one of the first companies too, and since I love my Apple products I like to go and use that pavement options haha. If you can't find anything just ask someone. The associates in the back toward the rear entrance are always helpful and always say hello too! Thank you for all the help. read more

Forgot something when you packed? We all do. Or least I do. Or did. Either way, this Walgreens was reasonably priced and had the type of selection that you would expect from any Welgreens. The only real difference would be that they had a fair selection of Disney related merchandise (duh). i wouldn't call this place a destination but if you are in the area and need to grab some supplies or trinkets, this place will do nicely. read more

Clean Walgreens location. Employee at the counter was very friendly and was a short wait to get out. A large selection of Disney Souvenirs.
