On one of my recent Disneyland holiday vacations, I didn't realize until it was much too late, I hadn't packed a hairbrush or toothpaste for my trip. Since we were going to have a rope drop plan early at the Disneyland Resort, I needed something fast! As soon as we got up in the morning, I went to the Walgreens right next door to the Hilton Anaheim hotel located by the Convention Center It really worked out as the perfect way to rescue my morning. The store was open very early, not too crowded, and had every travel essential that I needed. In just minutes I was able to get toothpaste and a hairbrush, along with a few extra snacks to take with me to the park. Also, because of its great location, it would be an excellent place to visit if you are staying at one of the many local hotels or if you plan on taking the short walk to Disneyland. Walgreens is definitely one of those stores you will hope you never have to go into on your vacation however, you will be extremely happy that it is there when you do! My friends were staying at the Hyatt House, and I stopped by this Walgreens with them the night we got into Anaheim for a busy weekend in Disneyland. I only went to hang out, as my children were asleep in our own hotel, but it was pretty stupid of me to watch my friends stock up on supplies and not pick up any of my own. This is a Walgreens, so I'm not trying to oversell the place, but it was nice and useful, with a ton of branded Disney stuff in addition to whatever else you expect to buy at a Walgreens. I see other reviewers have noted the Disney merchandise is cheaper here than in the park. I'm quite sure they charged less for bottled water and soft drinks than the kiosks at Disneyland, where I ended up buying both in the following days. I wouldn't go out of my way to shop at this Walgreens, but I'd definitely recommend buying provisions if you happen to be there mere hours before a weekend in Disneyland. You might save $20 on beverages by learning from my mistake. read more

This walgreens has the disney souvenirs and clothing that is fraction of the price at Disneyland. They had star wars items, lilo and stitch, nemo and so many mickey and minnie mouse bags, keychains, magnets, cups, pens, paper. Parking lot is right next to the store and is surrounded by many hotels. This place is open 24/7 so no need to rush. read more

Just to be clear even if you have a reciept they will ask to scan your Driver's license! If you don't have one you will not get your refund! The manager said its our policy. Had to pick up a prescription for myself and my daughters but our prescription was coming from NorCal Kaiser. The pharmacist worked with me and our pediatrician to get everything worked out, and got our medications ready for pick up right away! Excellent service! Had to come here while vacationing to pick up meds. I had been at urgent care and they called in the meds yet after an hour (from the time I left urgent care, to driving here, to circling for parking, they were not ready). While this store has a parking "lot" it is shared/connected to a hotel and there is a starbucks there too so parking was a challenge. There was not one but 2 different delivery trucks dropping things off to either Walgreens or other businesses and blocking 6 parking spots. I had to keep driving around to get a parking spot and would have been blocked in by a truck but he was nice and didn't. The store itself looked clean and presentable but they did not have what I was looking for and the pharmacy took too long which was my main purpose for being here. read more

This store is falsely advertising prices and charging more for several items. Store management should take a look at how their price tag policy works as this is very different than how most Walgreens operate who match their tag prices when there is an error or even just confusion. See photos below for examples. The clerk refused to adjust the prices to match the tags and so I ended up returning everything and going to CVS. The explanation that the prices change sometimes is not an adequate one, especially when the explanation changes. CVS stuck to their advertised prices and ended up cheaper. read more

Alright, so to sum up this location is convenient for tourists who are visiting Disneyland. It's of course marked up because of this, so lots of locals complain, even though the location is rreealllyyy not meant for them. The Walgreens in Anaheim is your one stop shop for everything and anything you need! While spending the weekend in Anaheim to watch the Ducks play, I realized I had forgotten my eye drops and needed some water bottles as well. Since Walgreens was the nearest drugstore, we decided to stop there. This was the first time I had been in a Walgreens and was amazing by the vast assortment - from health related items to gifts. In fact, the prices for Disney gifts were unbelievable!! Mugs, T-shirts, stuffed animals and more for such a low price! My online meds said they were ready, they said give them 10min so I did, came back up, and amber said their not ready yet give us another 15min. With again no urgency to get the meds to me. This was just down the street from our hotel while we were there for a Disney weekend, and it was great for a water and soda run. Great prices, people working there were nice and friendly. There is also a CVS across the street. Also there's a convenient store by these two pharmacies. How cool is that? You can also schedule appointments for vaccinations here. This is a newer location that opened on the opposite corner of it's main competitor (CVS) and is down the block from Disneyland. Like the across the street CVS, this location is open 24 hours and sells a lot of Disney merchandise to capitalize on it's location to the park. Unlike it's competition in general, Walgreen's has a better overall selection and this location is no different. While CVS likes to play stock gods, Walgreens offers a better overall selection of the same products. I'm not sure if it's a California thing or not, but this location also has a pretty decent hard liquor selection both behind the counter and in one of the aisles (none of the Walgreens in NY does that, that I know of). The employees here were generally ok. The store is bright and everything is clean and organized. Because of the selection, I found myself going here more than CVS (though CVS had a slightly better beverage option). The 24 hours of operation is very convenient to people staying in one of the area hotels (for Disney or the Convention Center) or even for locals who need to pick something up late at night. I'm not sure of the parking situation since I just walked here every time. Like the entire state does now, you get charged .10 for a bag if you want or need one. The bags are reusable and very sturdy. I only mention this because this was my first retail stop in California after 2 years and I only learned of this new law there. If you're familiar with Walgreens in general, the basic stock and prices are about what you'd expect. I will be returning to the area eventually and definitely plan on coming here again. read more

Was able to get my first Covid vaccine here yesterday! The pharmacy staff was great. They made the process very easy and quick. The store is huge and there wasn't anyone there but those scheduled for their vaccines. Felt very Covid safe and hand sanitizer was everywhere. Easy access to parking off both Harbor and Katella! read more

Conveniently located next to Disneyland. This store was especially useful when we forgot stuff in the car and didn't want to walk back to get it. It's big and spacious, and carries everything you need. They even carry Disney themed merchandise. I was tempted to buy some Mickey ears or Disney hats, but figured I'd just buy it in Disney. And I like that they have a lot of mini versions of necessities. like mini sunscreen spray that fit in our small backpacks. or mini tampons that also fit. I came in here to develop my film from my camera, first thing they don't know how to take out the film and nearly exposed my pictures to sunlight. THERESA the shift lead was no help what so ever. She didn't know how to develop film or make the form for it. She's a shift lead, the other shift lead was no help either. ANDD one of the workers was telling me to go to Walmart, infront of the "shift lead" THERESA. She did nothing but agree with her. They were very rude. THERESA stormed off when I asked her why she didn't know how to develop film but she's a shift lead. Your supposed to know almost everything. I had to run in for aspirin and water during my break at a payroll seminar at the hotel next door. I bought sunglasses as well to help with the headache. I needed a specific type of medication for after my tonsil removal surgery and I've been to 2 other Walgreens which did not have the medicine. When I finally stopped here, Vinh nguyen helped me by taking the time to calling another Walgreens to see if they carried the medication. This place is right down the street for Disney so imagine the prices a little higher than other locations it is in a new building but they still have some deals when you buy their brands. Each time I have went here I have always had a great experience with the associates. This goes to all the associates I've spoken with, thank you. With traffic the Walmart is like 5-10 mins away, is rather go here if I am in a pinch and need something asap. I am ok with the pricing because everywhere in that area is more expensive. The items here are good and they accept Apple Pay, one of the first companies too, and since I love my Apple products I like to go and use that pavement options haha.
