We had a transporter that was minutes away once we heard they were closing at 12pm instead of their posted 2pm hour and the staff, even though they spoke to the transporter on the phone, was unwilling to wait an extra 3 minutes. My vet in Long Beach sends my pets prescription here to be compounded into a liquid because my cat does not take pills as easily. They have filled several prescriptions for me so far and each time has been pretty quick turnaround (usually within 48 hours usually less) and the staff are very helpful. read more

However this location is now CLOSED and a little bummed that there was no sign outside indicating they had moved. I get two prescriptions for Skiba, our 5 lb Chihuahua, filled here. One of her meds is on the DEA watchlist (I have to take a paper script in every month to get a refill) and very carefully monitored by the pharmacist. Refills are completed the same or next day, even if they have to contact the staff at the Vet's. A new syringe is provided with each medication refill and greatly appreciated. All the staff is very friendly and will answer any questions you might have about dosage or side effects. Payment can be made over the phone or in person. They also have a great selection of greeting cards - I never leave without buying at least 1 or 2! read more

I have been going to Compound Pharmacy for about a year for a medication for my cat. Generally they were ok. Although sometimes it took as much as three days to get a refill. Recently I moved and needed to find a new compound pharmacy in my area, here is where I was surprised. I was paying $57.11 a month for my cats meds. In the moving process I asked if they could double the prescription, which they did and charged $95. So there was a break for the larger order... but in transferring the prescription to the Temecula RX I only paid $65.00 for the double order!!!! Are you kidding me $30.00 cheaper !! Wow I double checked the price in case there was a mistake, but.... no, no mistake. Seriously how can that be..I feel completely taken advantage of and ripped off...I called my vet and sent a message to the ER vet, they should know when people are being taken advantage of. read more

We were at the doctors office across the street from the pharmacy when the prescription was called in. When we arrived to retrieve it, 10-15 minutes later, Tuan informed us that he had already called our home to let us know it was ready for pickup. I've been coming here for quit some time now and have never had any problems until recently. I pick up meds for my elder pet. So far in my most recent experience, I've pretty much been called a liar and my spouse was treated as if she were an idiot. I called in for a refill and was told they would call me back when it was ready. I waited 5 days before calling them. They're usually pretty good at calling me back. But when I called inquiring about my refill, the young lady on the phone said someone had called and left a message. I told her no one from this business called and left a message. She then said, yes they did, they left a note saying they left a message. I called in a prescription 6 days ago. Whoever called and "left a message", said they did so 7 days ago. She was adamant that someone called and left a message. How is that even possible?? That was strike #1. Strike #2 was from a young man being INCREDIBLY rude to my spouse and was in no way, shape, or form helpful with ANYTHING!! It's one thing to be rude to me, but to be rude to my spouse?!!! It will NOT be tolerated. I don't know why the drastic change in professionalism, but I will not be returning if this lack of care is not addressed and corrected. I would give this business 5 stars had this not happened TWICE! I don't believe Tien Nguyen would approve of such lack of professionalism in his business. His staff sets the foundation of this place and they are truly failing him. I have located two other businesses I will support if this isn't fixed asap. read more

I have been using this pharmacy for over two years. I have them compound medications for my dogs. I refill it every other month for over $150. Every time I have to call and follow up and see if it's been sent or even processed. This time it has been 5 days and I had to call them to see why nothing has been processed or charged. Apparently they say they had never gotten a refill from the doctor. The doctor says they sent it back the same day. Why the pharmacy didn't follow up w me or the doctor I have zero idea. Andrew at the pharmacy did not even apologize for this nor offer to pay for my priority mail fees. I am out of medication and they're going to charge me for the mailing fees to get it here quickly. I'm now looking for a new pharmacy. read more

Love the fact that they are 1/3 cheaper than any other compounding pharmacy on expensive Cancer drugs that have to be compounded. Their staff is very attentive to details and responsive to customer's needs. They fill scrips promptly even when a doctor authorization is needed. They will also tell you up front what the price breaks are for various numbers of pills, tablets, etc. purchased at a time for each med. Sometimes the difference between purchasing 5 pills, verses 10 pills can cut the cost of each pill in half. So I appreciate their willingness to let me know when I ask such questions. And although their a bit of a hike for us what we save on the drugs over other compounding pharmacy's prices that are closer more than make up the difference we spend in gas to by the meds. there. And in some cases they even end up being cheaper than Costco on some drugs. It's also wonderful to have real live person answer the phone (usually on the first or second ring) and get to talk to a pharmacist who know's what's what as opposed to just a pharmacy tech. who is clueless. All of their staff is very courteous and extremely knowledgeable and accommodating of special requests by customers. read more

I've been a customer of this pharmacy for four years now for veterinary prescriptions, and I was very happy with them for a long time. However, in the past six to 12 months, their service has significantly declined. They used to give a target date/time for when the prescription would be ready when I would call for a refill, and they typically had refills ready in 24-48 hours. Now, all they say is "we'll call you when it's ready" and they can't give any input regarding when it might be ready; most of the time, they don't call and I'll need to call within 3-5 days to find out if they've finished the prescription. I would absolutely not recommend using them for veterinary prescriptions. read more

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY!!!! I cannot believe the incompetence of these people. I have never experienced anything like this ever when dealing with a pharmacy. My doctor called in a vey important prescription on a Thursday and assured me that the pharmacy said it would be ready for pick up Saturday, before I left town on Sunday. I called this pharmacy on Saturday morning and spoke to Camille. She said that they had no record of the prescription. Camille said she would call me back after speaking with my doctor. She never called back and no one answered the phone at the pharmacy for the rest of the day. I called the doctor's office and they assured me that they spoke to the pharmacy and everything had been taken care of. We could not get anyone on the phone at the pharmacy so my husband drove for one hour in traffic to get there before it closed at 2:00pm. When he got there they did not have the prescription and said they could ship it in a couple of days. I had to leave for my trip without the medicine I needed. These people should not be trusted to run a pharmacy. They are uncaring and shockingly incompetent. In addition, husband said the place was a scary looking hole in the wall in an ugly strip mall. read more
