Ive been using CVS Pharmacy for awhile. Now under new management who is Michael. Does not want to refill my prescriptions. Along with Ning who is a phamarcy technician hangs the phone up when she does not know what to say. Just like Michael who loves to hang up the phone. Ive been paying out of pocket for all my medication and now im being told I can not anymore. Im holding CVS responsible if anything negative happens to me. I have written a good review about this CVS, though that was ten years ago. I would like to add a recent review as times have changed as well as my experiences here recently. Not sure it matters though but as I've said, I would like to share my experience, mainly with the pharmacy service. My health plan assigned me here, had I known that I was able to change pharmacies I would have done so long ago and not had to endure well over 6 months of the substandard care and service given here in their "pharmacy". I'm not sure why the pharmacists act the way they do here, I wouldn't say all of them because there is a male manager here in pharmacy who is amazing! But, then you have the other ones working and it just absolutely brings this pharmacy down. I have been talked down to here, been lied to and been told my medication wont be available until a certain date but, I will go in before that said date and speak to a different employee and suddenly the medication I was told won't be available is ready in an hour. It wasn't until I changed pharmacy recently that I realized what real pharmacy treatment is like. Professionalism by employees who are willing to answer questions without rolling their eyes, giving you an actual time on when medication will be ready, actual text and email notification, service with a smile and treating me like an actual person. I am in care with a few doctors, I receive good treatment there and medications are a part of my treatment so when the pharmacy experience is lacking, it can make you feel like crap. Sorry but this pharmacy is lacking all around. I would mention names but I rather not. One female employee in particular is the one who has always been unkind and unprofessional. Light skinned, short, older, Hispanic, curly brown hair with thin ex chola brows and sort of has acne. Please avoid her if possible, she makes her own rules. read more

Very bad customer service. I went to the pharmacy because I broke out in eczema and I asked the wonderful lady at the counter what she thought was the best option on lotions or etc. ... I walked in and asked her if she could help me. Before I got there she was putting pills away so I patiently waited for her to finish because I did not want to be rude. When I was waiting there she gave me a very bad attitude and said "okay what do you need help with " and throwing hand gestures for me to hurry up and tell her what was wrong as if annoyed that I came up to her, the other person I went with told me when I looked away she rolled her eyes at me. When I finally asked her my question she just said "I don't know ask your doctor or check aile 4" so all in all It wasn't a very good experience because I just wanted a little help. read more

I will NEVER patronize this CVS and will also be filing a formal complaint against one of their pharmacists as soon as I can. I'm desperately trying to get a prescription filled for my son, and this man has refused to order it for him simply because I haven't had a prescription filled at that location before. I want to give credit and appreciation when it's due and yesterday when I went in to CVS the young lady that checked me out deserves recognition. She was very helpful and polite. I had two separate transactions and asked if I'd like to use the receipt coupon for the second transaction which never used before. She saved me some money and made me feel like my business was appreciated. I live in Hawaiian Gardens and I feel I feel I've been discriminated on by the store manager Jesse who works at the Hawaiian Gardens location of CBS every time I enter the store I feel like I have to be from the gang at CVS I'm not a gang member but I don't think that people anybody in streets especially in stores to be treated this way if maybe he should be retrained or maybe he should be transferred to another another city which I'm trying to get my medication and it seems like he blocked my phone it seems like he's the operator for CVS sometimes and of course you want to work with your best friend that's not really a good management skill to have. Every time I place an order for the photo department something seems to go wrong. For instance, I will get an email stating my order is ready, I walk into the store and my order is not ready. I decided to place another order for a mounted photo collage and I received a 8x10 collage of photos however, it was not mountable. I understand we all make mistakes, but when it keeps reoccurring it can really test a customer's patience. I'm a big fan of cvs, just not this location in particular. read more

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever been to! If you have a prescription for pain meds save your time and go elsewhere. I dropped my prescription off three days ago and have come in everyday for nothing despite being told over the phone that they are ready to be picked up. So now I have to wait another day with this very painful infection in my jaw so they can call to verify. That should have been done DAYS AGO! After I finally receive my meds I will never return here again. Too bad there's no zero star. read more
