That said, the Amazon gift card that I purchased on Wednesday was already used. The package had no visible evidence of tampering; I'm shocked, and so disappointed! I've come to this CVS Pharmacy on various occasions for things I needed. I went in today looking for band-aides, but this bigger one's. I had surgery a couple weeks ago and need something by to cover the incision area. I've been using the gauze and surgical pads, but it's time to go down to bandages. I need some coverage but not anything too crazy. I found the perfect ones at this pharmacy! They have all of the stuff for aftercare and medical supplies that you might need. read more

Very clean and quiet CVS Branch. I had to do a Covid test today. Made an appointment through CVS.com. You have to fill out the questions completely on the forms or else you won't go nowhere. My test took half an hour as they had to take my blood pressure and check my O2 level. My Cigna had issues with billing but they were able to make some adjustments to bill Cigna at a later time. Avoid this CVS, especially the Minute Clinic. They have absolutely no respect for your time or health. I had to come back twice for a time-sensitive test because they canceled my appointments without any explanation. There is no phone number to call and the website does not work. I had to physically go to the store just to figure out why my appointment was canceled. This incompetence cost me a new job because the test was required as soon as possible and their last minute cancellations left me with no other options. They waited until right before my appointment time to notify me. Had they told me sooner, I would have gone somewhere else! To make matters worse, I had to endure the test twice for no reason. The staff provided no paperwork, no contact information, nothing. When I tried to go to Urgent Care for help, they could not do anything because CVS did not provide the proper documentation. The nurses here do not seem happy to work at all. One nurse could not even explain what was in the injection I received, which made me extremely uncomfortable! How are they allowed to give injections they don't know anything about? Thankfully, I did my own research beforehand. CVS, you are a multi-million-dollar corporation. Hire someone to answer phones and train your staff properly. Stop wasting people's time and playing with their health. This experience was not only unprofessional but it also had real consequences for my livelihood. Do better! read more

I scheduled an appointment for 10:30 am and got there 10:25 am to check in. I waited for over 20 minutes then a nurse came out and called another patient in and I asked her I have an appointment at 10:30 her responded YeS I know I'm running late. On top of mind I was wow then I asked how long do I need to wait she said she doesn't know and then I asked should I reschedule the appointment her responded that she needed to see her patient. What is the point of having an appointment? If she was nice and apologizing for the time, I would be fine waiting, but her attitude Sucks and rude. Way to go CVS I always go every year for wellness and since you guys close so many minutes clinic locations I will sure go to Quest instead of rude people like this one person working here. I'd give it 0 stars of I could. This store has gone downhill since the start of COVID. And now that the world is pulling out of it, they are getting even worse. The app is a joke. For instance, my doctor electronically sent 10 rxs over yesterday. The app reflected 5 so I drove there to verify with the pharmacist that they'd received them all. When I get there I discovered they'd changed their hours and don't open until 10 now. I waited until they opened and indeed, they'd received them all. Great, right? So I verified that on the app and yes, they had. 1 of my rxs wasn't due to be filled until today so fine. Forward to today and that same rx that was to be filled today has mysteriously disappeared. So now I have to have my Dr resend ONLY THE 1 MEDICATION. And when I was speaking to today's staff, "oh, he must have been mistaken" and she was beyond rude. That is just 1 instance in several. Just happens to be the final straw. I have been threatening to switch pharmacies for YEARS, btw. Their app is a piece of shit, they have revolving staff that don't give a crap, screw ups are a constant rather than an aberration and now inconvenient hours of business. The attitude from this bitch was unreal. I'm moving back to Sav-On. CVS can go f*** themselves! read more

My elderly mother used this pharmacy. When she began needing my assistance she warned me that it takes a few attempts to receive her meds each month. I appreciated the texts to pick up her meds when they were supposed to be ready but when I attempted to get them, they were out of stock or they didn't get the doctor's approval. Is it normal to get a doctor's approval on a prescription that is on auto-refill for a year? Whatever the reasons it was not uncommon to have to make 2-3 trips to get her meds. I've been dealing with these annoyances for 1 1/2 years but the final blow was when I brought in unused meds hoping they had a drop off container. The pharmacist (doctor) said "We don't have anything like that. Just flush them down the toilet or throw them in the trash." When I said "Thats toxic! Isn't that against the law?" He said " Well, that's what WE do." So that's it .... I'm gone! read more

He was sarcastic and unwilling to be helpful when my card wouldn't swipe. He literally said "I've never seen those cards" and "We probably don't take those cards here" So we're at the end of 2021 and you, a cashier in Buena Park has never helped anyone with an Pandemic-EBT? I brought my kids in for the flu shot to CVS Pharmacy without an appointment. The pharmacist are very welcoming and efficient. Our insurance eligibility verification was processed immediately. My kid's temperature was taken and; and I signed all the required waivers. We waited in the pharmacist's room for about five minutes. My kid's felt at ease with the pharmacist who administered the shots. All was done relatively quick. No issues. My kid's are fine. We also did some shopping for essentials and treats for my kids. Some of the treats were buy 1 get 1 half off. The store is very clean and the staff is welcoming. I appreciate the spacious parking lot too. read more

2014 this place got a 5 star, boy has it gone down hill. This is the second location on this review: If I could vote Zero I would. This used to be my favorite drug store. Pharmacy was fabulous and store was neat and clean. No it has totally incompetent Pharmacy staff. No customer service. It all seems to have changed with a new pharmacist. This place is just not a good place to shop or get prescriptions filled. Final problem was went in for a prescription they were texting me for and it turned put to be a nasal spray from two months ago not my quarterly thyroid meds. jeez, relentless texting with no indicator of what prescription. They said can't do my thyroid for another 5 days. I also wanted allergy meds. They were out and were not able to call another store. Guess what I called another local CVS and pharmacy staff said they had it, drove directly there 5 mins. Let's analyze the CVS store: Coming in with my lovely fiancé to the minute clinic we head over and check in at the kiosk. It reads it will be around a 64 minute wait. We're thirsty and we head over to the drinks. My hubby loves coconut water and head straight for the lemonade vita coco drink. To our surprise all the cartons in that flavor were two months expired. Ok no big deal, one of the workers with glasses was very kind and took care of the situation right away. Next, I was thirsty. I grab some sparkling pineapple coconut water. Guess what? Also two months expired. I grabbed the blackberry one next to it, thank God that one was good. I take up the bottles to the counter, expecting some sort of discount but I guess it wasn't a big deal since the drink was only a dollar. The employee asked me if I worked undercover. It was a very comical conversation. If anyone knows whose hiring, I'll apply ;) Minute clinic: Did not take 64 minutes, we probably only waited for twenty five. The doctor was extremely calm and patient with my tremendous phobia of needles. She let my fiancé come in with me for my TB test and had a real gentle hand, didn't even hurt that much. Even though the prices are kind of high, the employees have no control over that. So overall, prices kind of sick, but service is wonderful. read more

The cashier robert is so rude! I came in for diapers and shampoo/conditioner that i normally buy bogo 50% off..to my delight there were tons of shampoos and conditioners 75% off! I stocked up and grabbed a bunch. When i got up the register he gave me attitude and asked if i "cleared out the section". Guess what? I did not! Lots left but even if i had...who cares? I am a paying customer and spend a lot on these products normally. He then told me i was "more than stocking up" ..seriously i didnt buy all of them so what is with all the nasty comments?? This was the first time I had ever been to this CVS. The store itself was neat and organized, the staff however was not. I had a few questions about the vaccine so I went to the pharmacy department. I stood in line and saw the pharmacist and a pharmacy technician having a personal side conversation (which I didn't think was appropriate). I didn't want to interrupt them so I continued waiting patiently until another technician, who was already helping a customer, let the pharmacist know that I needed assistance. When the pharmacist finally noticed my presence, he was rude he neither said "hi" or "bye" or utter "have a nice day" and he literally gave me a one word answer and just turned around and walked away. I don't know what kind of "doctor" is rude like that to patients. It's best to go to a different CVS or preferably Walgreens instead. read more

So if you want a history lesson about CVS and Savons, go grab a drink, get comfortable and start reading. After I had graduated from college, the economy was not in good shape in the early 90s. (To be fair, it's not as bad as now). Lucky for me, I was able to score a management trainee position with Savon Drugs. (For you people who have worked here, you can substitute the word "Slave-ons"). We were under the umbrella of American Stores who also owned Jewel, Luckys, Osco, and a few other stores. BTW, this was a great company to work for, not the best, but not the worst. What I liked about it was it had a sense of family and community. Being a manager, in my three year rotation, I had worked maybe 12 different stores, not including the stores during the training process. I actually was in Anaheim for 3 months and then Santa Ana for 2 years. After that I was involved in a lot of corporate re-openings. So during the mid 90s, the Corporate office moved from Anaheim to the one I believe just north of Orangethorpe and Western. This particular CVS (used to be Savons) was the closest store to the corporate office. I know how daunting it can be working so close to the office with unexpected visits from the big bosses. I should know because I used to work in the Anaheim store that was the closest to the distribution and old Corporate office. Lucky for me, the highlight of my career in the Anaheim store was when I had met Carl Karcher and all the coaches from the Mighty Ducks since Carl lived in Anaheim and our store was next to their the Duck's training facility. Anyways, fast forward to present, I live pretty close to this store and have always liked this store. I used to get my employee discounts here. Like Longs Drugstore, we also used "Charleston" code for our discounts. I would say back then, it was about a 5 star store. Of course, that was in the mid-late 90s. For more history, let's go to late 90s and early 2000s, Albertsons acquired Savons. They had no idea what they were getting into financially and had to sell off the Savon Stores. So, Ironically, CVS bought the freestanding Savon and Osco stores and changed them to CVS. You know, the store with them shaggy blue/black/brown carpet? The Irony comes about because I had worked in a Savon Express store, which looks exactly like a CVS, just smaller in size then most stores. CVS stores are just not as inviting with the dim lighting, lack of customer service, and lots of inventory out of stock problems. So there you have it, the crazy life of retail. Changing, changing, and always trying to reinvent itself in some way to get the customers in. Honestly, sometimes I think if nothing were changed as in a private company, it might be best for the company image and for the neighborhood customers. Ask the older folks in your community, they will tell you the same. They rather not mess with something that works. read more

I am writing this review because I was absolutely disgusted when I came into cvs. The bathroom was completely unsafe and unsanitary, I was mortified. There was fecal matter all over the walls and the toilet and no one bothered to clean it. In fact the last time the bathroom was serviced/cleaned was 12/21/2013 according to their restroom maintenance check list hanging on the bathroom door. I will NEVER step foot in this CVS EVER again. It was completely impossible to try and find someone to notify them of this disaster but there was no one to be found. My family and I walked out of the store and took our business elsewhere. DO NOT GO TO THIS CVS, if they cannot even maintain their restrooms I dont even want to know how they operate the store. read more

This review is for the Minute Clinic. I went in this afternoon around 5 o'clock to get a TB test done. When you walk over to it, there's a kiosk. Sign in and fill out all the necessary information. It's kinda fun to push all the buttons. Not gunna lie. The wait was only about 20 minutes or so after signing in. A sweet Asian lady was my doctor for the afternoon. She was so friendly and funny too! She told me the price for the service ahead of time so that there would be no surprises at the end, and made me feel comfortable while putting the needle into my skin (I'm a baby-don't judge). Overall, it was an excellent experience. Definitely worth the 5 stars. The pricing is ridiculously inexpensive too compared to what I would've paid at my normal doctor's office. Plus having no Co-pay is awesome. I highly recommend using this facility. I can't wait to go back in the future. read more

I didn't use the pharmacy, but the 3 guys working in the store went out of their way to make sure I felt welcome. I was greeted when I came into the store. Asked if someone could help me find something. I didn't think so, but then couldn't find what I came in for, so they gladly helped me, going into the back to see if they had any stock there. The sale item was sold out, so they offered a different brand as a replacement! I thought that was really cool, because I wasn't looking forward to driving to another CVS! While I waited for the guy to go in the back and get my items, the fellow up front offered me a free roll of paper towels and showed me how to use the coupon kiosk! Wow! I felt like they were actually glad to see me, which was nice since I'd just had a less than satisfactory experience across the street at the bank! :/ Everyone was very polite and I went away feeling really glad I'd gone there! So it was about 9:50pm by the time I entered CVS to purchase Tylenol for my child who isn't feeling well. I grab 1 Children's and 1 regular strength, I approach the cashier and the manager on duty Jerry didn't seem to thrilled that people were still in his store... as he helps me he says give me a minute and I said no problem I'm trying to decide which to get, his response "try not to take all day either." Uh #1 you just said give you a minute and walked away #2 who Does he think he's talking too? #3 I get you want to go home, but let me just tell you.. I didn't want to be there either, I didn't want my child to be sick to begin with but here we are, and you still had 5 minutes till closing. This CVS is huge! I came here to use their Kodak Photo Center because my son had an extra project for school. He needed to make a photo album of his trip to San Juan Capistrano. This was our last resort, but was this turned out to be perfect! If you need to print out photos or a photo book, then you need to come check out this Kodak Photo Center. Kodak has really expanded their services. You can make a photo book ranging sizes from 4 x 6 to 5 x 7 in minutes! There's lots of colors, backgrounds, themes and neat options for each page of your photo book. And its cheap!! You can make a photo album for under $20 :) Awesome :) PS You can make personalized calendars, collages, etc for reasonable prices. read more
