The medication is never ready on time. You go the same day and they say they're just starting to prepare it. They told me to come back at 6 PM; I arrived at 6 PM and they said it was still being processed and to return in 15 minutes. I came back an hour later and it was still being processed. I had to leave without the medication and look for other alternatives. It's unbelievable how long the lines are with so many people waiting to be helped. They're right next to Knott's so if you're from out of town and staying in the area, this is your go-to for meds and toiletries. I stopped in after Knott's to pick-up soap and face wash. Lots of parking, inside it's clean and organized and empty. I was in and out of there in 10 minutes. Looks a little sus outside but it's safe for the most part. By far the worst Walgreens I have ever been to. The service is so disregarding and rude. From in person to over the phone, many time I have waited 45min just to ask if a prescription is in stock, there is no flow here. Why would they help everyone in person and drive through and totally throw the callers on the back burner for 50min. Where is the management? Who's directing? This is insane. I can't believe they don't even answer the phone to let me know they will be with me soon, or even apologize for the wait. I would've hung up but I really need a medication that's been out of stock near me. I would like a manager to call me back as soon as possible. read more

We came to this location to pick up a photo, and the print edge came out wrong due to bad maintenance to the printer. We informed the employee, and she told us it was the image, which we know it wasn't as we work with IT for printer maintenance. She printed again as she strongly suggested it was the image. The second print had the same issue, but the edge misprint were in different areas from the previous, which suggested what we told them. The printer needed maintenance done. I am not sure if the person who came next was a manager as she was not wearing any name tag or presented herself as the manager, came to the conversation very rude and pretty much said if we don't want it we don't have to take it and refund our money. She declined to return it to the card and gave me cash back and was very rude with an attitude read more

TL;DR: waited a long time for a pickup even though we had an appointment. Went to pick up a prescription after my wisdom teeth removal. The pickup time was at 6pm and I arrived 6:40pm. Originally, I had someone schedule to pick up my medicine, but the associate said I need to be there to pick up. So I came at 6:40 under a lot of anesthetics and gauze in my mouth, and when we got to the window, they said the medicine wasn't ready yet. I ended up waiting another 45 minutes for them to complete my order. The funny part was that they didn't even ID me, so now I wondered.. did I really have to pick up my medicine in that condition? read more

They don't want to hire people, I think the manager uses the pharmacy budgted staffing hours for the front of the store. And let's the pharmacy staff to hang out to dry. This review is for the pharmacy. I have been coming to this location for a year now and i love the ladies that work here. My favorite is Jessica. She always tends to us patients right away, when I have to wait its usually a 5 minute wait nothing longer. She has great customer service, always friendly. Has jokes too. I also like Debby, she is very helpful with all my questions. And also the 2 pretty asian girls with the masks on all the time-can only see their eyelashes-they always work together early in the mornings is when i see them. Always gets my meds on time, never a long wait. They never have a line. But recently there is a new older indian lady with a squeaky accent who is a nightmare when she is at the counter. Will make me wait 30 minutes and forget about me. Said I will get a text but did not ask me for my number. So I waited and waited then I went back to the counter and the dumb b*tch forgot who I was and I guess my meds werent ready yet so she said to come back in another 30 minutes so I asked for Jessica when the nightmare left for lunch and she got my meds out in 2 minutes. The line is always long when the nightmare is there. Someone always has to come for backup. I saw the backup clear 4 customers in 5 minutes while she was still with 1 customer. That lady is horrible, makes me repeat my name twice and then takes her sweet time looking for my meds. It has happend to me 3 times already. I went to the drive thru and she was there that day and it took her 15 minutes to find 2 rxs then she had the nerve to tell me hold on, I cant find your other order, its lost. I hate going there when I see her at the counter. Please, please, please get her some training to move faster. She doesnt not fit in with the girls there. read more

Do not use this pharmacy. Many times this pharmacy has failed, to refill my patient's Parkinson's medication on time and he goes a day or two without his prescriptions. No staff there ever takes any responsibility. My patient's meds have been in their computer system since Saturday, and it was never filled. What if my patient needed life saving meds? They truly don't give a crap about patients. There is no excuse for their repeated gross negligence. read more

Do not come here without a printed return label if returning something for FedEx. They falsely advertise acceptance of QR code returns. I had a terrible customer service also at this location.. lady at the counter did not seem like she was enjoying her job. She virtually told me that "they never accept QR codes" and then walked away. read more

Wow I'm surprised on how many bad reviews this location has. My regular Walgreens was closed so I called this location and was assisted by Nancy in the pharmacy Dept. She helped me get one of my prescriptions transferred from the other location. She had the med filled right away for me. I want to thank her for her great customer service. I just can't anymore. I've been back three times to pick up my medications with Walgreens threatening to put them back on the shelf because I don't have 3+ hours to wait in line because there isn't enough staff hired to check people out as well as be available for consultation. No matter what time of day I have come in there's at least 10 people waiting in line, which doesn't move for 20-30 minutes per person helped. There is typically one person at the register and one person in the back filling prescriptions. The drive thru is permanently closed and they no longer answer the phone since they received all of the customers from the Rite Aid that closed recently. Walgreens has the slowest software program of any pharmacy I have ever used so it's not the fault of the employees. However, when there's a line of 10+ people, it's time to stop filling prescriptions and start helping the line. If I have to leave again a fourth time without my prescription, I am switching pharmacies. I don't have half a day to waste standing in line at the pharmacy. I have a full time job, I am a student, and I have other responsibilities much like most other people. Be smart Walgreens, hire more people and get a better software program. read more

I literally just walked out with $50 worth of stuff earlier because nobody would help me get headphones that were $10. The customer service would NOT help me but insisted on taking away the headphones I was trying to buy because they were "locked" (again $10) out of my whole order). I came to this Walgreens today to pick up the one prescription I get from here. (All of my other prescriptions I get through CVS) I was here between the hours of 2:45-3:20pm. I waited at least 30 minutes in line to get my script because there was only ONE employee working the inside window AND the drive-through! The line for scripts was 5 people deep and you would think another pharmacy tech or even the pharmacist herself would come and help her out. Nope! The worst part is I saw two other pharmacy employees just walking around behind her. Doing what? I have no idea. I know they weren't helping customers. It was so bad, the people in the drive-through were honking their horns. Finally the employee working said, "Can someone help the drive -through? They are honking their horns." Also, The people in line behind me were grumbling. I was told the pharmacy managers name is Emily. Idk if she was working today, but if she was, she wasn't doing her job. As a previous Pharmacy Manager I have extremely high expectations upon entering any pharmaceutical business, please keep this in mind as you read my review. This location is a 24 hour store, the pharmacy is not open 24 hours. The store associates are friendly for the most part, and will help you find items if asked. The pharmacy associates, like many other pharmacies, are busy and seem overwhelmed. The store fixtures are dirty and very dusty. The pharmacy counter is extremely dirty, with exposed wires, dusty countertops, and cluttered fixtures. Overall, I'd recommend this pharmacy over their competitors in the area. read more

It was around 8:15 pm when I went to the drive thru only to find out they closed the drive thru service and you would have to come inside to pick up your prescription. The pharmacy closes at 9pm. I went inside and arrived at 8:20pm to pick up prescriptions for me and my mother. When I got to the end of the line, the staff told me I could no longer get in line as there's already a long line and that in order for the pharmacy to close at 9pm, they would have to stop people from getting in line. This doesn't make sense especially if you arrive 40 minutes prior to the scheduled close time. The staff told me to speak to his "manager" at the photo section and to see if she would let me get in line. I went to speak with the "manager" and she basically just said the pharmacy is short staffed and that the pharmacist told her to end the line so they can close the pharmacy at 9pm. She ended up telling me to "try to get in line and see if the pharmacy will take you." So I went back to the line and waited for 40 minutes before I reached the window. When I arrived at the window to pick up my prescriptions, the pharmacy assistant helped me. In the meantime, another staff member (who was not even the one helping me) blurted out and told me out of nowhere that next time don't force my way into the line especially if there's a staff member at the end of the line. I don't understand why she needs to tell me this when I have been waiting in line for 40 minutes already. What was her intention and purpose? To humiliate me in front of other people present at that time? It felt like she was blaming me for something I'm not sure what. The staff at this location are RUDE, have ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS, UNSYMPATHETIC, and UNAPOLOGETIC for the inconvenience caused by closing the pharmacy EARLIER than posted schedule and with NO NOTICE. If you can't service your customers within the scheduled pharmacy hours, don't blame the people who come here to pick up their medication within the scheduled pharmacy hours, especially because one's health is involved. You only care about closing the pharmacy on time, but you don't know the reason why people come here at a certain time (especially if it's within scheduled hours), and you forget to care about why people come to the pharmacy in the first place. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience caused and ending the line to pick up medication 40 minutes earlier than scheduled hours, this staff had the audacity to confront me about the way I pleaded to them to allow me to pick up my prescriptions. read more

The Walgreens at 7878 Crescent Ave is a super bad place ever, bad service, bad attitude. The staff is super rude. They gave me wrong item then made eveything confused and even insulted me. I meant EMMA - the mexican staff. She verified wrong item but yelled at me and insulted me that I couldn't read the words. Later then she by herself knew she was wrong but she didn't say sorry to me. She kept slamming the receipt in front of me. This is the first time I shop here and will be the last time. At least my family, my friends won't go there until EMMA is still there. I don't think Walgreens can train staff to serve customers like that. read more

** 9/7/2020 @ 5pm Incompetent pharmacist or pharmacy tech but either way...I dropped off a prescription and drove off... I Later end up getting a missed calls so when I returned the call...I was told that the medication wasn't approved. Even though I've been getting it for a years now. I asked what she meant and she said it just wasn't approved. SUPER lazy and did not want to explain. So I made her :) I told her she wasn't being clear. I had an idea what may be going on but I needed her to explain and to clear up any confusion. It is a prescribed medication we're talking about. So I asked her did the years prior authorization expire? She said she couldn't tell. Now I knew she was lying. So I told her she's going to need to explain what the issue is. She puts me on hold. And then tells me ...yeah it looks like the years prior authorization is expired. Wow what a completely different answer!! The person i spoke to was very lazy and did not want to be of any help until she was pushed to. There are many other places where one can go to get their prescription filled and for a lot cheaper!! For instance my medicine is $44 at Costco vs Walgreens it's $88 Techs need better customer service and need to not rush customers off the phone especially when issues arise with insurance/ prescriptions read more

This is the closest Walgreens to me. I always order online for in store pick up because it's convenient and I don't have to get off my car with my kids. When I do have to go inside, the store is always clean and the employees are kind the majority of the time. The only reason I'm giving them 3 stars is because of the lack of inventory. Every single time, never fails, I order online, there is an adjustment made because nothing is ever in stock. It's frustrating because you expect the product and it's never available. read more
