I tried to tell her what I was doing, all she said was she hadn't gotten to the payment part on her screen. I showed her my phone screen, which clearly said to hold my phone to the reader so I can get my points. She said she hadn't gotten never seen that before, in a tone which almost had me just voiding the purchase. Perhaps some training may be in order? As for me, I will not be returning to this location.

Something must have changed since the upbeat reviews of the pharmacy department at this location. I…read morehad enough disappointment at CVS and decided to transfer my Rx to this Walgreens on Carson St in Lakewood. None of the clerks I interacted with seemed to have much experience. I went in once to initiate the transfer, and a second time four hours later to check the transfer status, make sure they had my contact and insurance info correct, and learn the medicine was on order for the next day (because they didn't bother to update me). Sure enough though, despite having all the info in front of their face, the techs/pharmacist managed to botch the insurance and drug company copay assistance processing. So when I went in to pick up my Rx, they had to reprocess it. The bottom line is they are just as uncaring and incompetent as CVS was. Next refill I will be transferring to another pharmacy until I find a good one. I would recommend to anyone to stay away from this pharmacy for at least 6 months to a year from when this review is posted to give them time to hit rock bottom and re-staff this location with a better people. In the meantime, it's just not worth the frustration of being dependent on employees who are not interested in doing their job.

We never have any problems with any of the pharmacy staff or the cashiers. We always have a good experience here. The staff is always professional and helpful whenever I have questions with my meds. I called in two nights ago to get a refill and simply typed in RX# and received text notification the next day for pick up. Easy peasy.

The store is clean and easy to shop, smaller than some of the other stores, and they sometimes are out of itemsI want, but pickup at the counter is very easy. They always seem to have enough staff for the checkout line, and they are friendly and efficient. In-store pharmacy, though, is always busy with a wait. I first checked aisle 10 thinking it would be near the children's medication but could not find it anywhere. I went up to the front and asked the cashier, Vincent, for help. His customer service was exceptional. Instead of just pointing me in a direction, he walked with me and checked aisle 13 as well while I explained what I was looking for. As we talked it through, it suddenly clicked for him and he realized it would actually be back in aisle 10 in a different section. He walked me right to it and made sure I found exactly what I needed. At two in the morning when you are dealing with a crying baby, that kind of help means everything. Because of Vincent's patience, quick thinking, and willingness to go the extra step, I was able to get the gripe water and get my daughter settled so she could finally sleep. Truly top-notch customer service and very much appreciated.
