Do not waste your time calling, I called twice to transfer my medication to them, wasted my time by grabbing all my insurance Information, and check here and check there after many minutes in the fall, the person told me to callback to check on the status of my prescription transfer, surprise! They didn't not know what F I was talking about, and said they have some nefucations out of stock when a day before they have all medication I need. Staff are mentally lazy and waste your time! They have been nothing short of exceptional! They are on it there. No having to call and remind them to do their jobs. They call you. They go the extra mile. Contacting your doctor for you for refills they see coming up. They work with doctors on prior approval and keep you up to date on progress. They find and do coupons for you to ensure your getting the best prices. They deliver, or you can see everyone's fantastic smiles when you pick up. They have been a literal live saver for me. I can't thank them enough or express my appreciation for all they do. The difference is night and day between them and the chain pharmacies who can hardly look at you, roll their eyes and leave you standing unacknowledged for long period of time. Not to mention text you meds are ready only to find they are not snd you have homework. Torrance pharmacy and compounding is like the concierge's of pharmacies and spoil you. DONT GET COVID TEST AT THIS PLACE. We had this guys to perform Covid-19 test, we asked the nurse that we are going to use this at the airport for traveling. Do they accept this test, she said yes it wouldnt be a problem. When we arrived at the airport they didnt allow us to airplane because this test wasnt PCR even tho our test was negative,they did some basic kind of test, doesnt really do any good to anybody and its not accepted by any officials. We specifically asked about airport and traveling by air. They have no idea what they are doing. We had to spend another $400 for two people and we spent $250 for two with this company. I dont even count taxi fare and stress that we went through. You should know your job, im not a health care specialist i dont know anything about covid test but this is your job, you should warn people before you examine them. Luckily we made in last minute with the new covid pcr test. If we didnt make it and lost nearly $3000 air fare because of you Torrance Pharmacy, you would have meeting my attorney at the court. We really liked using this pharmacy until recently. So I'm giving them an extra star for past happiness with them. Otherwise I'd give them one star. The last couple months they've squawked about my husbands medications. Asking "can't he get his other meds filled here, in addition to his pain meds" I told them "no, because you don't accept Work Comp" (my husband was injured working as a firefighter) At first I thought it's because they're a small biz and wanted the extra income from my hubs very expensive meds. ($40,000 a month) understandable....but they don't accept Work Comp and those meds have to go thru Work Comp. So I can't do anything about it. I can put the pain meds thru our regular insurance because they're inexpensive and we can afford the copay. And we went there after CVS couldn't fill one of the scripts one month and suggested we try another pharmacy. What I thought was about money soon became questions about the meds we were filling through them. Pain meds and a benzo. It's been tough for my husband. He was perfectly healthy and now he's completely disabled. His pain and emotional state are off the charts regularly. He's very very sick. He's been suicidal just from the amount of pain he's been in and we've tried every non-opiate out there. So. Last month. After a round of intense infusions to treat him for his illness, his pain became so bad he couldn't function, or concentrate on anything else. (Think having your body burned out by chemo, just a little different) His doc prescribed (for the first time ever) morphine, in addition to the three Percocet he was taking a day. My hubs always sticks to the prescribed amount and takes less when he's able. The pharmacist rolled his eye at the morphine (mscontin) prescription when I brought it in and basically acted like I was a drug fiend. (Or that my hubs is) his behavior was bad enough that I mentioned it to my hubs case manager when I got home. Upon me bringing the Percocet script the following week (they're on different schedules) same pharmacist says, LOUDLY, for the rest of the line to hear, "you were JUST here for MS Contin last week!!" I calmly said "yes, the doc wants him to take mscontin twice a day and the Percocet for break through pain." He smugly says "I'm going to have to call the doctor" to which I say "go ahead" I was shaking mad. Announcing the prescriptions by name is a hippaa violation. Questioning a docs orders is fine; but for gods sake be professional about it. Not every person who is on opiates and a benzo is an addict. And if a doctor is prescribing it, then it's likely necessary. I'd already told him my hubs would hopefully only need the morphine for a month or so as he dealt with the effects of the infusion medicine. And sure enough my hubs hasn't needed as much pain medicine recently. However. How he treated me, someone who deals with my husbands pain every single day. Who cooks for him, drives him everywhere and does every single thing he needs, is inexcusable. So I won't give them any more business. My husbands illness wrecked his life. He had to retire from the fire department. He cannot walk more than 30 yards. His pain wakes him in the middle of the night to where he's whimpering so he doesn't wake me. This pharmacist can go to hell. I hope he doesn't ever treat anyone else like they're drug addicts when they're trying to fill simple prescriptions. And if it's about the money ....well...now you've lost what little you were getting from our business. And I hope you lose more from this review. I love to support small businesses. But this guy is a jerk so we are done. read more

Very courteous, very professional. I am a very picky individual. These guys (unlike ordinary drug stores like cvs or Costco) are very personable, caring and quick. Ben was really helpful and patient. I gave him my pharmacies phone number and he took care of the transfer for me. I transferred all my prescriptions because of their qualities such as one on one consultation, attention to details, quick delivery and cost. They found a coupon to reduce my co-pay. Torrance Pharmacy is my number one go to pharmacy. I can't even begin to explain the 5 star level of help I receive from Bertha and Ryan. I'm in the pharmacy at least 4 times a week. Rather it be for myself, my children or my family. I'm always meet with a smile and professional customer service. I love that they set me up for auto refill, they offer home delivery, they have a nice waiting area in a air conditioned lobby and best of all they have great snacks for all appetites. Excellent, efficient service! The convenience is so worth it. Since I had just visited Dr. Lee in the same building as the pharmacy, I asked Dr Lee's assistant Leticia to call my prescription to this pharmacy since it's just down the stairs. Unfortunately, my appointment was super early and the pharmacy wasn't open yet. Within the same day, I received a call from Salma to confirm my insurance. I called back the next day and spoke with Cassandra. Since I was prescribed a brand name drug, I was worried about the cost. Cassandra took my insurance information over the phone. Within 15 minutes, Cassandra called me back and she confirmed she was able to apply a discount through my insurance for the new drug. The best part is the pharmacy will deliver my medication the next day for free. I paid the copay with a credit card over the phone and the entire transaction took less than 10 minutes. It is so nice not having to drive in traffic and wait in line to pick up my meds. Dr. Amir and staff are extremely nice, knowledgeable, and they take the time to make you feel better. Today I went into the pharmacy at 5:40 without calling my prescription in. They close at 6. Dr Amir acknowledged me right away and filled my prescription in less than 5 minutes. I had a few questions in which didn't hesitate to answer. He wrote down a few alternative medications he thought would be best for my condition. Very sincere and very thoughtful. He even rang me up, took my copayment and wished me well. Literally the best pharmacy ever! My 10 year old broke his collarbone playing soccer and cracked a rib.
