The service from management was abismal, they don't offer schedule 1 medications, and I had to pay out of pocket at CVS because they claimed to have filled my medication because it was considered a refill at that point or something it was all confusing and they didn't help and actually came from the back to call me a liar. Avoid at all costs. read more

Debbie and Nousheen and Raven are just a few there that are awesome. Debbie will call me and let me know to try something for my back that ails me. Walgreens would never take the time to do that. Nousheen will transfer scrips for me and cal me when done. CVS would never do that. Raven answers the phone on the first or 2nd ring and Costco or Rite aid- i would be on hold for at least 10 minutes any time I called. Had an issue with medicating our new kittens due to a parasite in the stomachs and had a drug compounded my another pharmacy that the kittens would not take. I was desperate to find a way to get them to take the medication and called Medcompounders Pharmacy to find out if they made the medication in a different format and I spoke to someone and they advised me my kittens should be eating the medication in their food fine, I was then transferred to Emily the pharmacist who makes their compounds. I explained my situation to Emily and how we were applying the medicine into their food in the kitchen where they are fed, Emily explained that if the cats were able to watch us apply the medicine and that they could see us reaching for the bottle of medicine they were smart enough to figure out what we were going to do to them. I said you are kidding me they are that smart? She said yes and advised me to prep the food in a different part of the house. So I started prepping their food in the garage which is attached to our house and afterwards brought their food into the kitchen and fed them, to our surprise they both ate everything and since that day a week ago we have been able medicate them 2 times a day. Just wanted to say a special thanks to Emily at Medcompounders Pharmacy who helped us even though we did not purchase the medication from them. This compounding pharmacy is amazing. They have really go above and beyond in both service and professionalism. First became acquainted with this pharmacy through my sister who had her compounded hormones done here. Female owned, excellent listeners, great service. Highly recommend them for any compounding needs like prescriptions for very small dose for infants or turning a pill into a liquid or gel for people who can't swallow pills due to disability. My sister uses this pharmacy for bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. All pharmacists used to be trained to do compounding but it is no longer easy to find a community pharmacist with the skills to alter the ingredients of a drug to create a medication tailored to the unique needs of the patient. My husband was having severe lower back pain, and I won't even get into how he injured himself, but went to the doctor, doctor prescribed him oral pain medication which helped for a little bit, but He refuse to take them every 4-6 hours for the pain, because he couldn't deal with the unbearable side effects. And, lets not get into the side affects. So we went to the doctors again asked for something he can apply topically to the pain area, to avoid the side affects and his doctor wrote a prescription for a topical cream made commercially, one of which was previously prescribed to him, he complains because it doesn't help the pain at all, and the squeeze tube it comes in makes it difficult to know he's applying enough... So I complained to Medcompounders Pharmacy about my husband and his back pain, and they were so helpful! They contacted his doctor, told them that he's not getting better with the prescriptions he was getting, So the Pharmacist at Medcompounders wrote a compound Rx for him, and faxed it to my husband's doctor, his doctor approved it. We got the product, it came nicely packaged, the pain cream was in a pump bottle, I wore some latex gloves and helped apply 2-3 pumps to his lower back. He tells me before i begin not to rub his back so rough cause it hurts, so I'm gently massaging it into his back, he was making weird sounds, and tells me " Hon. I feel it working, i feel little tingles and no more pain" He told me to rub it with more force, and he felt no pain. He loves it so much he's bragging about it at his work place where all his co-workers are in pain. Trust me, I know, I talk to their wives. Super satisfied with the everything! The Pharmacist are very thorough in explaining how to use/apply the medication, storing the medication, and also making sure you understand the the compound is a strong medication and keeping it out of contact from kids and pets. I couldn't even tell you how many times the Pharmacist told me to "wash my hands before, and ESPECIALLY after I apply the cream to my husband's thats why i just wore gloves...The pain cream really help with his back pain, I know, he hasn't complained to me about it since. :D read more

As a person living with chronic pain. I've run a frustrating gambit with pharmacies. I've gotten dirty looks from techs because of the medication I take and the amount I take which is based on an incredibly high tolerance. Most chain pharmacies do not carry my meds, or at least they say they don't. I've had pharmacies refuse to order the meds for me, and some say it will take over a week to have them delivered. This was a monthly anxiety filled day when I went and got my normal script from my PM. I never knew what was going to happen at pharmacies. Then my PM recommended me to go to Med Compounders. I've never looked back. The pharmacist is very open, honest, and understanding. If she's out of my medication, she gets it in the very next day. She's never ever judged me by my prescriptions, nor pried into why I'm taking them, outside of my diagnosis. No lectures. No second guessing the doctor at all. She special orders meds for me and doesn't make a single profit off of any of it because my insurance covers them almost 100%. She doesn't care about the profit, she sincerely ensures that I'm okay every month. That's extremely rare and valuable. I recommend anyone who's not scamming and is legit only to go there. I have had seborrheic dermatitis for over 30 years. It's one of those issues that doesn't go away and shows up as pink to reddish splotches on my face. Needless to say I have been seen by multiple dermatologists over the years, all to no avail. While picking up an unrelated prescription from this pharmacy one of the pharmacists asked me about the dermatitis. After discussing all that didn't work she wrote out a formula and asked me to have my doctor write a prescription for it. The doctor did and the pharmacy compounded the medication and my face has cleared up. I have suggested they patent the formula but was told the process to obtain FDA approval takes years and costs $$$$$. My message to you is don't be shy to talk about prescription issues with them as they may find a solution for you where none has existed before. read more

I'm giving a top rating and a review because the cherry that topped this cake was, they called a couple of days after I went for my prescription and I've never been to a pharmacy that follows up on me and was so attentive before. My Doctor recommend this pharmacy cause they specialize in compounding. This, my friends, is no ordinary pharmacy. I was blown away by the customer service, they are so friendly. I didn't wait to long for my prescription, about 15 minutes, which isn't a long time for a personalized prescription. I had my cat's prescriptions filled here. He was getting an amoxicillin solution. When I got it home he hated the flavor of the base solution! I was able to bring it back and they flavored it with fish oil for me. He liked it a lot better after that and I didn't have to fight him as much. I have visited this pharmacy several times in the past and the staff are the absolute best. Whenever I need something compounded they give me a call back to see how the medications have been working out for me and if it isn't strong enough or if it is too strong they customize the compound for me so that it perfectly fits my needs. Freada, the technician that does my compounds, has greeted me every time I pick up my medications and she is the nicest person ever. I love that it is a small pharmacy because they really care about their patients and do everything possible to make sure my prescriptions and compounds are perfect! On the off chance I cannot pick up my medications they mailed them to me and they came quickly! I recently fractured two bones in my hand which was extremely painful. Unable to take a narcotic orally due to the side effects the pharmacists recommended a transdermal pain cream that would treat the immediate area without affecting my central nervous system or GI tract.
