They do not give out the correct amount of pills. PLEASE RE COUNT THE PILLS IN YOUR BOTTLE. This is the second time this pharmacy doesn't give us the correct amount of pills. I don't realize until I went home. Just fyi to everyone using this pharmacy. After calling them to let the know, they tried to dismiss me trying to hangup my call before trying to find a solution. My doctor recommended this pharmacy after we were having issues with other pharmacies being out of stock of my medication. It's nice to be able to call a place and get a live person, answering the phone and handling your order. This Rx is a nice neighborhood pharmacy. It's funny how when your doctor efax a prescription and it's on their fax machine they won't look and tell you they don't have it. Then I politely ask them to check the printer or fax machine and they say" oh! here it is" it was always there for like 2-3 hours. Fairly new to this pharmacy have been coming here for a few months and service was always just okay. About 2 months ago I was assaulted in the parking garage downstairs and I went into the pharmacy as a safe space for me to wait for the police to arrive and the girls working there made it a HUGE issue. They seemed bothered I was waiting for the police to show up. I explained to the pharmacist what happened and he and the Hispanic lady in the front were the only nice ones to me. All the other workers had a very bad attitude. I was crying and in shock since I had just been assaulted but all I kept hearing were nasty comments from behind the counter and getting dirty annoyed looks. I even heard one of the girls at one point say "is she still here? What is she going to do stand here all day!". I eventually waited outside because I felt uncomfortable being in there and one employee came out from the back to ask what happened. I mentioned to her all the comments I heard and looks I was getting and even she confirmed that the girls who work there have a terrible attitude and she keeps to herself when she's working. God forbid anything ever happens to these women but they definitely do a good job in treating a customer like shit as if it were my fault someone assaulted me! read more

I get all my prescriptions and my family's prescriptions here. The pharmacist called to let me know that the medicine my cat takes has an ingredient that is bad for dogs, so he was concerned about my cat. So, he mixed a batch of the medicine without the questionable ingredient for my cat. I was blown away that they are so incredibly conscientious, not just for humans, but all their patients. Not to mention the ability to make the medicine, a real compounding pharmacy, I didn't know this was even a thing still. read more

What a great experience. I had another pharmacy insist that my insurance did not cover my prescription and after hours on the phone back and forth with the doctor and the insurance company, all it took was the prescription to be faxed here for someone to know how to handle it and get it covered. Very grateful for them. BONUS: they provided me with a sharps collection kit for my used needles AND alcohol swabs for free with my prescription. The other pharmacy didn't even address how to dispose of my needles. This place is really great. read more

My husband and I were in town visiting family. After paying a visit to Grandma, we noticed that she wasn't walking very well and had lost strength in her left leg. We thought perhaps a walker might help her get around the house and prevent any falls. After calling around multiple medical supply stores, we located a pretty nifty walker with adjustable height, wheels, and light weight. We explained to the lady our situation and she offered us 10% off. She also stated that if not worn or used, we could always return for a refund. Great customer service and extremely helpful! As a pharmacist myself, I was very pleased with the professionalism and service. I would recommend others to utilize this pharmacy as well. They are very resourceful. I have been going to this pharmacy for 15 years without a problem, and if I only knew. I bought a wash that was recommended there for my daughter's acne condition. My daughter didn't want to use it, and when I went to return it for my $7.50 refund, Elli, the pharmacist said he couldn't return it because it wasn't sealed. I told him I didn't open it, and he said it came unsealed. NOONE TOLD ME I COULDN'T RETURN IT IF IT WAS OPEN. I told Eli I wouldn't return to his store if he didn't return the wash. THEN THE VERY MATURE ELI SLAMMED THE WASH INTO THE TRASH CAN, AND SAID FOR $7 he didn't care about me as a customer, then I walked out. I've been using Peninsula Pharmacy for over 25 years and have always had a positive experience. The staff is consistently friendly, conscientious and efficient - no matter how busy they are. Ramona and Eva are fantastic! I'm always greeted by my first name, from the pharmacist to the security guard to the techs. It's also so refreshing to call and get a real human being each time, not a recording. There are no robots here. If there is ever a problem with filling a prescription they call me right away and don't wait for me to come in and find out at the last minute. I would say that the only downside is the parking availability and their limited business hours, but it's workable. I don't get my meds anywhere else! Amazing customer service. read more
