I noticed this pharmacy after a doctor's appointment in the building. I stopped in to find out if they except my insurance, we chatted for a quick minute, and they told me what I needed to do. My pharmacy at the time was closing and I needed to find a replacement. I had all my current info sent over and they started filling immediately and have been providing needed refills since. I have been with them for about 5 months and have not had any issues so far, they seem friendly and accommodating to my needs. It's been a few things that I was not able to refill but it's not their fault, it's an insurance thing. I went here to see if maybe they would have better luck getting certain meds my pharmacy is Hartley getting. My pharmacy has been great but said I will have to start thinking about changing some of my prescriptions to another pharmacy as they are having trouble getting them. Mom and pop places struggling to get product. I stopped here near my doctor to ask a few questions. The place is clean and convenient. There was no one else inside when I went in but when the pharmacist came over she seemed rushed and made me feel as if I was bothering her when explaining. She just asked me what meds and I told her two of several and she said no they don't have them. I said I understand are you referring clients to chain pharmacies as well then or what are you guys doing. She just said ya like she had no time for me and turned away. I didn't even have a chance to thank her for her time of less than a minute. I can see why the rating is what it is and I should have checked before going in. This just solidifies the so so rating. Sad cuz I want to give my business to these places but they don't seem to want it. I'll still with Torrance Pharmacy and compounding and when I have to they will help me find medication elsewhere. read more

VM is the pharmacy where you know they will take care of all your needs. After being a Kaiser patient for 7 years and standing their long lines and being on hold for long hours, this is the place you need to be for your health care-medications. The pharmacist is so knowledgeable, giving you the best possible consultation and advice. A very good pharmacy with personal attention and care! I have finally left the nightmare of CVS pharmacy! And I am happy to pay $10-$15 more for my prescription to not have to deal with the catastrophic management of CVS Pharmacy's. They don't care, but why should they, it's not their business it's just a 9 to 5 job! They just want to punch the clock and go home.... Vm pharmacy which I had previously left because I had to pay a bit more, turns out to be a much much better pharmacy and more than worth the extra cost! This pharmacy is worth going to because they know you and actually care about your medication. and making sure you have it! They don't run out of stock.... And if they do, which is very rare, they will have it in 24 hours and deliver it to you! Don't make the mistake of going to a pharmacy that is a big corporation! They don't care because they have 100 more people behind you. This pharmacy is rude and stingy , the owner is really inconsiderate. I bought a coconut water and it had a horrible taste not to mention it was $3.00. I kindly asked if I could exchange it for a $1.00 water bottle and they can keep the change. He said "NO" they can't take it back since I opened it!! So stingy will never shop there again! Extremely happy that I found VM!!! this place is the best, hands down period. only pharmacy that i have been to since i found it. the pharmacist, and entire staff have always been insanely nice and more than helpful every time i have been there. they really went the extra mile when it came to helping me with my recovery. i was involved in a serious accident over a year ago which led me to have back and wrist surgeries. so i ended up needing to take new medications i wasnt familiar with. the entire staff always made sure they walked me thru every detail of my newly prescribed medications and answered all my questions and even suggested other helpful ways to approach my recovery such as physical therapy, yoga etc.. also the prices are great, and now my own parents and grandparents have become regulars as well. read more

This pharmacy is terrible!!! Go somewhere where they respect you. Doctor gave me a Rx for an injectable and told me to go here, okay I did. Won't ever go back. They told me my insurance would only pay for a 1ml vial at about $25 at a time. Okay, I did not know any better and thought they knew best. Boy was I wrong. Something did not sit well with me so I call my insurance the next day and sure enough... -They gave the brand drug instead of the generic my Rx was for -Charged me 5x more for the brand drug -Did not tell me the generic drug was out and filled the brand expensive drug -Told me my insurance paid for only 1ml which is wrong. I can get up to 10ml -Told me the doctor did not write the Rx right This place is a joke. They create a lot of mistrust by doing shady things and chalking it up to miscommunication. Just be honest and there won't be miscommunication! I made a big deal about this because if they are doing this to me, they are doing it to many others who because of age or understanding, or even time go by what the pharmacist or pharmacy tech says to them. they are simply AMAZING... I had wrote a review about a year ago, but somehow it was removed( don't ask me how and why)anyways... I used to work in the same building about 15 years ago...Since then I have been using their service and they became part of my big family... The pharmacist Elena is truly AMAZING... She will not only answer the questions concerning the medications or insurance, but also will go into details and will share her knowledge if you need about the disease or a current condition that the patient is in... Even my doctors know that whatever I forget to ask them, Elena is always there for me... Prices are very good, they do deliver, have big selection of compression stockings and DME... This pharmacy looks like a nice small pharmacy to stop in for quick pick up, but it is not that at all. The old man that is in the front is rude! He tried to be friendly but he doesn't know how. Elena is rude and alienates and bullies any customer it seems. I am very disappointed in the service I received from this place and will NOT be back again. DO NOT go to this pharmacy. The pharmacy tech is rude. Trying to get a prescription I desperately need I thought I'd go to this pharmacy considering it is in a facility where I got a procedure. Little did I know this technician is RUDE and RACIST. She kept assuming I couldn't afford the medication because of my race and place of residence and kept repeating that the copay would be expensive. The technician told me not call back because I wanted to know how long it would take to get my prescription and is now threatening to shred my prescription. Something needs to be done about this technician. This is totally in acceptable. I had the same issue as the previous review by Sara.S , I filled my prescription at vm pharmacy last month and this week an unnamed warden look-a-like (pharmacist) tells me she can't fill it because of my pharmacy history and that I need to have one pharmacy and it cannot be VM Pharmacy. I wonder if she is choosing her clientele based on their race or insurance. The way she spoke to me, made me feel humiliated. This pharmacist has no right to judge me for taking medication. I'm sick and tired of pharmacist constantly acting like they're gods! If they don't like people taking medication, FIND A DIFFERENT CAREER! My Dr, referred me to VM Pharmacy. I complained about CVS and how they won't fill a complete prescription and keep making us go back over and over again. Dr. explained how good VM is, and that they deliver for free. Well, how could I beat that. They are as good as the Dr. said they'd be. The staff is helpful and my life has changed so much now that I don't have to argue with CVS every two days. VM is located right in the middle of all the Skypark doctors which is ever better than ever. The pharmacist told me over the phone they could fill my script. I get down there and she says she can't because of the way I have gotten my scripts in the past? The script is a controlled substance I know but I had gotten it filled last month at the same pharmacy, she told me I should have a regular pharmacy to fill it and I told her I wanted it to be her phamracy? This is a terrible pharmacy! They treat you like a criminal drug addict. I just had surgery, and my dr. prescribed me a pain med which was too strong and gave me a headache, so a few days later he gave me a new prescription for a different pain med, and the pharmacist questioned me as to why i needed more pain medicine. I explained to her that I had a bad reaction to the first med, and that the dr. has switched it. She decided she needed to call the Dr., and question HIM! I was outraged. Perhaps they should focus on the fact that they are selling expired candy and dated women's panty hose! Hello!?? Clearly I wasn't trying to stock pile pain medicine, otherwise I would have gone to a DIFFERENT pharmacy. I have nothing to hide and don't appreciate being treated as if I'm doing something wrong. I have used this pharmacy frequently for my patients and myself. I have found the staff to be courteous, efficient and prompt. My patients have always given me positive feedback for my recommendation. It's location is very convenient, within the same medical complex. Additionally, they carry the bandages, stockings, and splints and BP cuffs that are needed right away. I will continue to use and highly recommend VM Pharmacy. read more
