Honestly, I always stop by this cvs. Very clean, plenty of parking and you can find all of your products!

This is a nice store and a good pharmacy. But I've noticed that patient confidentiality is a luxury not afforded. For example, today an elderly lady picked up several medications while 6 other people were waiting behind her in line. The cashier had her give out her name and date of birth three times, and the name of her doctor, and her insurance information. The pharmacist was called over for a consultation (which should have been at the "consultation counter) and went over her medical condition and how to take the medication. All of us on line were appalled that this information was being divulged so publicly, especially in these days where identity theft is so rampant. I spoke to the same pharmacist later and voiced my concern and his response was to speak more softly next time. But I made it clear conversations like his (and the cashier) should be considered confidential - period. Other than that this isn't preferred CVS and I go there all the time. read more

This CVS has the best! Friendly customer service. Both the store and pharmacy teams go out of their way to get you the best deal. Love the pharmacy team. So sweet and educated. They want to make sure you understand your scrips and check and interactions with other meds you've bought there. Get all my vaccines there. Pharmacist Joshua rocks!! Don't go to the pharmacy here. They will make up stories at their discretion and waste your time. They refused to fill my prescription after at least a year of me getting it here. I was able to fill it online, then when I went in the following day, they acted like I was crazy and said it never existed. When I pushed them, they agreed it actually did exist, but apparently it expired a few days before. They accidentally used a more recent prescription to refill a few months ago and let the older prescription run out and expire (6 months). Then when I paid $200 to have a telehealth appointment to have a new prescription sent in, that day, they then told me they would not accept the good RX card on a controlled substance. That's not a law in California or with CVS just "their location." I've called around to every other pharmacy and they said of course they take good RX card for any prescription. Just go to Ralph's, Walgreens, Costco literally anywhere else but this place. They are incompetent liars fabricating stories and discriminate. read more

This new, curly-ish dark haired, kind of tall 6ft & very portly "manager" is a miserable and horrible person. Staff is great aside from this "manager". Always looks extremely annoyed, is rude and impersonal by nature, basically seems to hate life and projects that unto others and customers. I've been coming here for years and this WAS my pharmacy. I came to pick up medications at the pharmacy and some black girl in scrubs was really rude and lazy. I was already next in line and she says they're closed when I was about to pay. She could've easily rang it up for me but of course her lazy hungry oompa loompa looking self says to come back in 30 min after her lunch break. She was that hungry? She couldn't ring me up when I was there already. Very inconvenient and rude. Bad attitude. Bad customer service. So I had to wait outside and came back when they re-opened and it was her again, in the register, I said well you made me wait 30 mins instead of just ringing me up. and she LAUGHS rudely like it's something funny. PHOTO CENTER low quality. We do not recommend the photo center. Had our Christmas cards printed here at a competitive price; however, the quality was exceptionally low. We don't think we can even use them. They are very blurry and pixelated despite the high quality images we uploaded. read more

Boycott cvs! You can no longer call the pharmacy to speak to a human. They have a call back system which they take your number and reason for the call and a promise to return your call within n an hour. Well you guessed it. They don't call back. I have an account on CVS' website, from which I can manage my three perpetually-in-need-of-refills medications. Over a year ago, I turned the auto-refill option OFF* for all of my meds. On 5/26/2023 I logged-in and noticed that one (of my three) medications had already been refilled four days earlier (5/22) without me having initiated anything. I contacted my doctor, and she had not authorized any refilling for any of my meds. I visited this CVS pharmacy in person and spoke with a pharmacist.... Me: "Who authorized this 5/22/2023 refill of my Losartan Potassium?" Pharmacist: "Well, it wasn't your doctor.... it wasn't you.... and it wasn't us (CVS)." Me: "So who authorized the refill?" Pharmacist: "I don't know." Me: "So, you have a gremlin wandering around inside CVS software initiating and approving prescription refills (without a doctors' consent)?" Pharmacist: "I guess." Me: "What are you going to do to help CVS find and eliminate that gremlin wandering around inside their software?" The pharmacist just hemmed and hawed while staring at his computer screen (presumably hoping I'd wander away). I was expecting at least an "I'll elevate this issue to our store manager." But, no, not even that. I stopped by the CVS at 316 S Pacific Coast Highway. I shop CVS FREQUENTLY for many items because normally I am able to apply my CVS coupons. Today I waited 20 minutes in line to check out. The manager Peter came up and I asked if we could enter my cell phone number to see if my 30 percent off of one item was active on my account. He said I would have to leave the check out area and figure it out myself. There were other customers behind me, He spent less than 30 seconds with me.Il was very upset and disappointed that a manager was unfriendly , not helpful and rude. I heard CVS carries a wide range of back pain patches and anti inflammatory pills. I figured I'll give this icy hot patch a try. Apparently it's medicated and lasts up to 8 hours and there's 5 patches in a box for $9.29. They also have a Aspercreme lidocaine patch for $10.49 but I'll try the icy patch first. read more

I ordinarily have nothing but good things to say about the CVS but yesterday I hit a breaking point. After several reminder texts from CVS my husband and I were in the area and stopped in the drive thru line and the car in front of us clearly had problems because we sat there for almost 15 minutes, once the car left we pulled up to a closed window. I just thought they knew we were out there and they couldn't just go ahead and help us. Also they ask me constantly for a bar code through the text so now I'm saving texts so I can access the bar code to make their life easier and yesterday was just too much. I would have felt better if they had let us pull up and said I'm sorry we have to close for lunch come back later but no it was just a closed window. Then to end it all we were pulling away and I got another reminder and then another one last night. I just want to scream into the phone hey I was there!!!! Another gripe I have is having to sign in and get a code to do my orders. Signing in is one thing but then it's the code. It's like they want to make it harder on us to get our prescriptions. On a good note I love the staff. I can't complain about them. They are always very helpful, kind and attentive. I know it's not their fault the window was closed. You know life is so complicated and trying to remember their lunch hours is just tedious. I travel quite a bit and I love getting the reminder that my prescription will be put back by a certain time. I never remember all this extra stuff in the past. I'm just really disappointed about yesterday. read more

In no way as a flex, but I have visited my fair share of pharmacies and had to deal with endless rude, unprofessional, uneducated, extremely uncaring coldhearted pharmacists. Joshua, the lead pharmacist, and his entire team are absolute angels you would think when people are sick going through some of the worst things they'll ever face in life, or having to help a loved one experience any type of illness or trauma that pharmacies would be there to help??Right?? Unfortunately that is too often far from anything ypu get theze days, with so many pharmacist going off on some power trip or making you jump through 5 million hurdles of red tape. However, when it comes to Josh and the CVS parmacy techs, from the moment you walk in or use the drive through all the staff welcomes you with a huge smile and is extremely timely. Josh is ALWAYS trying amd willing to go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, safe and heard. They also will frequently try to expedite a prescription if it hasn't been filled, they maintain strong professional unbothered communication with doctors and best of all, if they don't have something in stock they either recommend a possible substitution or will go ahead and call other pharmacies to make sure they have it. So you're not driving around having to waist time. I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about Josh, as he has helped me through many, many, a pickle. Whether it's my insurance fault, the Doctors problem or just a matter of stock or pricing Josh and his staff really care about their clients. And even go so far as to make you feel like you're part of a family, not just another number in line waiting like cattle to be herded along or to be poked and prod which so many pharmacists nowadays seem to do (As it's almost a power trip for them) I can't say enough great things about this place as they truly are an incredible group of human beings and I recommend to anyone and everyone thank you so much for all you do for my family and I read more

I don't normally have a need to patronize any CVS, but I was thankful for this 24-hour location on Thanksgiving night. Now I feel a story coming on...... My son and his (stunningly gorgeous : D) fiance drove down from SF for Thanksgiving weekend. And on TG night, about 11pm, my son discovered he was out of contact lens solution. I know my neighborhood and he doesn't. So I went out searching for the solution. There was no one on the roads, kinda creepy! Ralph's was closed, my local CVS was closed.....so I headed for Chevron convenience store. They didn't have the solution but tipped me off to the 24-hour CVS at Torrance & PCH. There was actually an armed robbery near this intersection some time ago, but I was on a mission & prepared to take on any damn robber....because parents are like that when their kid needs something. (I was flashing back to the days when I was a kid, a million years ago, when little neighborhood "drug" stores had soda fountains & I was enjoying a hot-fudge sundae with my dad.....but that's another story...) Two cars were in the dimly-lit 24-hour CVS lot when I arrived, in addition to some guy hanging out by the front door. Empty streets all around. I am a brave old lady but not stupid. I waited in my car to see if the place was really open. A young man went in, I followed. The guy hanging out by the door asked how I liked his hair (he didn't have any) & if I had a cigarette. I ignored him. Some lady was already inside the store looking for "one of those old-fashioned disposable cameras". Yes, they have them. I got the contact solution & headed for the checkout. I asked the man behind me at checkout if he thought the crazy guy by the door would hassle me on my way out. The man said, "If he does, I'll beat the **** out of him." I said, OK great....but how 'bout just walking me to my car? This nice man escorted me to my car, past the rambling crazy guy. I headed home, quite pleased with myself for a mission accomplished. I'd been gone a long time (it was well after midnight), so my son asked what happened. I told him: "Boy, have I got a Yelp review!" Thanks CVS for being open on TG night! Ok, who reviews CVS Pharmacies? This is the situation - it's September and the new flu shots are out and there's a new Covid booster. Friends made an appointment a week out for their booster so I thought there would be crazy lines so I went to the CVS App. Not only did they have a choice of times when I could get my flu shot but also get boosted at the same time. To set the stage I don't like getting shots anymore than anyone else but years ago I made a promise to Mom, rest her soul, I would always get my flu shot. Ok, super easy to schedule times and when I get there I hit one answer on a text and I'm checked in. The fun was just beginning. Nancy, the shot administrator, greets me by name and lets me know she is good at giving shots so "don't be scared." As she loading up the flu shot she proceeds to let me know giving shots is a passion of hers and in fact dreams about giving people shots. Nancy to save the planet! First shot in and out of my arm before I knew it and the second needle goes is while asking me if "that hurt my big strong arm?" I started laughing and the second shot was injected. She thanked me for allowing her to get a two for one on giving shots. Nancy do a great job, doing her job professionally (painlessly) and helping me feel good about my shots. Topping it off she handed me a CVS coupon thanking me for getting vaccinated and boosted. They happen to offer a clean restroom to their customers. This location is in an area that is convenient & easy to access. The highlight of this store is the pickup window. What do two girls do at 1am ... go shopping at CVS! Actually, we were specifically in search of my friends nail polish...don't ask why we decided that at 1am it would be worth driving up and down Sepulveda stopping at all the CVS's from Manhattan beach to Torrance just for nail polish. BUT here I am passing along the information...this place is 24 hours folks. The location must be relatively new, and it's definitely one of the smaller CVSs I've ever been in. We ended up staying and browsing for like 45 minutes. Even though it's small they still had all the basics, including Ruffles sour cream & cheddar chips, the perfect late night snack. I was researching having some photos that I had stored on my Iphone printed out so I could have a hardcopy and put some of them in frames. I accessed CVS's website and found the site easily to navigate, upload photos, select the size of the photos, pick the store for pickup and finish my transaction without a flaw. Shortly after providing my 'junk' email address to CVS I received a confirmation, order processing & order completed email. I had signed up for same day service and received these emails all within 2 hours. I let a day go by simply because I was busy and could not make the trip to pick up my photos. This morning (12-22-2014) however after leaving the gym I took out my Iphone and looked up the address for this CVS found it on my handy dandy Yelp application which was WRONG!!!! I drove to the location listed 316 S. Sepulveda which is basically the corner or S. Sepulveda Blvd & Longfellow Ave which as stated earlier was wrong. I immediately called the store telephone listed on Yelp which leads to the automated Pharmacy line. I kept pressing '0' and finally got in touch with a live person who verified I did in fact have the wrong address, I was even told by the Pharmacy Tech that they get this call often. I finally found this location on the corner of S. Pacific Coast Highway & Torrance Blvd right next to Wee Man's Chronic Tacos. I pulled into the rear parking lot and made the mistake of parking close to the sidewalk. I say this because silly me for believing the sidewalk would take me to the entrance which it did not, it lead me to a door that used to be a entrance that only told me to go back to the rear parking lot to gain entry. As I was walking around the building I noticed this CVS has a drive-thru Pharmacy if you are interested in using something like that. I finally made it to the store; I walked in and located the photo department only to be told that all online photo orders are handled at the main cash registers. I returned to the front of the store, waited in the fast moving line and secured my photos which came out perfectly. Now that I know where this location is, how easy their online system is to upload photos and navigate I will definitely use them again despite the search that it took to find this place. I found the staff to be working during my visit to be very nice and extremely helpful. I contacted Yelp and submitted the correct address information. I hope they change it soon because I have observed 'tips' from 2012 stating the same issues. read more

2.5 is a very high rating for this CVS store, especially the pharmacy. Customer service is poor and the mistakes and lack of accountability happens far too often in this location. I can't speak for any other CVS stores. Not a good choice if you are used to consistent good service. read more

DO NOT COME HERE FOR COVID19 testing. I've been waiting in the drive through for 45 minutes and their has not been anyone here to help service us! I finally called pharmacy and told them what was taking so long. I received a WEAK and crap apology and guess what? 20 more minutes has passed and WE ARE STILL WAITING. The guy that helped me was so rude. I usually get my photos done at Walgreens but since I was by the CVS I thought that I'd try them. I went in the store and went back to photo and waited and nobody came so I went over to pharmacy and asked if they knew if someone was going to be over there so they paid someone and finally someone came over to help me. I told him I need it an iPhone 6 Plus to do my photos through the kiosk and he said OK you can go buy one and I thought that was weird at Walgreens they provide one for you. When I asked that they don't have the plugs for people to use he looked at me and said you didn't bring one? I told him that I didn't get that I just figured it was the same as Walgreens and that they provide it one for you to use. Long story short the guy was so inconvenienced by me I just let.
