If you know exactly what you need and where to go you'll be fine. I was trying to do a return and there was no signage anywhere. After flagging down someone to get an answer I found it was through the regular checkout line. Unfortunately that meant I needed to wait in the long checkout line and I was wanting to make a purchase as well so that would mean waiting twice in that line. Thankfully one of their self checkouts was functional so that made the checkout a bit easier. read more

Of one the few 24 hour locations and it's good size too, I just wish that all pharmacies that don't close, have a drive-thru. I had to come in once needing medication for my eyes just before the sun came up, and I had to wear sunglasses to disguise them. I know not all will have a drive up window, but if they are open all day every day, they should a drive-thru in my opinion. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. My problem is people lying to me when I go into the CVS looking for something specific and they know that you are looking for it and make an excuse. For a lot of the holidays there is Hello Kitty plush animal that comes out. They are rare and hard to get. People swamp to the stores to get them. So each holiday they have them delivered to the store and a specific date that they are to be placed on the shelves. But they don't follow the dates. Some stores put them out way earlier than other stores. Some stores the employees are taking them for themselves or for friends. All customers know this. It is not a secret. I don't want to hear you are leaving the Christmas stuff up a little longer, but you have some of you Valentine's Day candy out. Once the seasons or holiday passes, move on and have all the stores follow the same dates that are on the boxes. Setup a certain section in the back of your store for left over holiday stuff. This way all of your stores do the same thing on the same dates and people can to your store and find what they want. 1 star is far too generous for this location. Their customer service is absolutely atrocious to say the least. This is based on multiple encounters with the late night staff. I understand they have a problem with the homeless lingering & coming in/out of the store. That's a valid frustration, but that doesn't excuse treating the rest of your customers like dirt. NOT 24 hours. Three other potential customers and I have been waiting outside of closed doors for 1.5 hours. And this is as after we witnessed a worker come out of the doors and remove a hand written sign saying be right back... so unprofessional I mean many of these late night customers have only just been discharged from the ER or ICU and were given strict instructions to come straight here to fill their prescriptions. 24 hours my a$$ This is now the 4th or 5th time I've come by in the early morning hours (3-5am) and the doors are locked. DONT HAVE A SIGN THAT SAYS OPEN 24 HOURS if you are not going to stay open. It says breaks are from 1-1:30... it's wayyy past 1:30 !!!!! Also have tried to reload my prepaid card here and usually they do it no problem but for some reason the middle eastern lady with the long hair through broken English said they can only do it 7am-7pm (or at least that's what I think she said) but any other time outside of those hours any other cashier handles it Please hire people that can do their job.... read more

It's straightforward: once you receive the confirmation that "Your order is being printed!" "... and should be ready by the time you arrive at the store for pick up", get in line at the cashier like you're buying something, then let the cashier know you're there for photo pickup. They'll ring you up within a min. + Thanks T-Mobile Tuesdays! + Ample available parking, even with many ppl coming and going. + Store is conveniently located near all kinds of shops and eateries, even South Coast Plaza! Non-likes: - The photo print confirmation email should mention the store hours. It mentioned the store's address and phone #, but store hours would also be very useful. - I got pranked. I ordered a 4x6 magnet print. Instead, I got my 4x6 photo and some instructions, which say to use the magnet assembly block. Where's the magnet assembly block? I was being helped by manager Tom Eldridge. His service was nice and straightforward, but I think he should've checked that the photo in fact s/b a magnet. I did say "photo pickup please", but I was using "photo" in the general sense. I had received the confirmation email 23 hours ago (it's 8pm now), so I thought by this morning the magnet would already be fully prepared. Still, the associate who rings the customer up should do due diligence and check that there's at least a proper magnet in a magnet order. When Mr Tom handed the lil envelope to me, I thought it felt light only cuz CVS had advanced the strength-weight ratio of their magnet technology while I wasn't looking. Once I realized the truth in my car, I decided it's too late for rectification cuz there was already a slow cashier line forming. *sigh* - Also cuz few employees are operating the cashiers. Two at most. Hue-manatee has fallen on hard times, eh? - The parking lot ambience is sketchy. Always feels like there's a homeless or drugo person watching you from afar (or even close by) when I walk to and fro my car. This is not the first time I've arrived at this location after everything else is closed only to discover the 24 hour CVS is closed because ALL the employees decided to take a hour long lunch break together at 2am. And of course there is nothing close open. So I'm forced to sit in the parking lot and wait for them (when they should be taking lunches separately). Otherwise I have to drive all the way to Costa Mesa or Newport for an open location. What's the point of the GIANT red sign above the door that says open 24 hours. Cuz they aren't! read more

Came to pick up my prescription right now. Store is kept clean and neat. Luckily during expected busy time of the afternoon rush hour, I did not have to wait long in line. They have three pick up registers open and two consultation windows. Sofiya was super sweet!! She is knowledgeable about current updates about what my insurance is currently offering their patience. Winnie is a great pharmacist. Executed explaining my prescription instructions to me! Only sad part is that I thought my prescriptions wouldn't take that long to fill but I saw how many people come to this pharmacy and how many orders lined up on their shelves, I completely understand the wait. read more

I really pray that this is read by corporate and the general manager. I came in at 11:39 am on 12-16. I was assisted by cashier Sarah. Never in my life had I had unsatisfactory service in my 30 years as consumer at this store. I was waiting behind a patron and there was no own behind me. I have a toddler who would not stay by my side as she was enamored by all the Xmas decor. When it was my turn the cashier scolded me and accused me for cutting in line, as 2 other patrons were lined up behind me in mere seconds. This storefront is notorious for transients and predators. This is in Santa Ana, the highest crime city in the county. I can't just leave my toddler and stay in line even though, it's obvious I was 3 feet by the cashier, please review your camera footage. She yelled at me for 2 minutes while my toddler was out of site. I was sooo happy to pick up my holiday photos that I preordered and she just ridiculed me and have no regards to my toddler's safety. My kid could have exited the store through the automated doors. If you aren't happy life, don't seek a job in customer service. I loved this CVS even though they have rude employees because it was open 24/7 and it was super convenient considering I have wonky work hours and am typically up late hours because of it. However they recently changed their hours to closing at 10PM?!? What the heck! Y'all had nothing going for you BUT your around the clock hours, now y'all just have nothing. I even would've understood closing at midnight if y'all really needed to change hours due to staffing or safety. BUT 10?!? That's such a dramatic difference. just got around to writing this review as I've been busy. I went to pick up my insulin and the boxes were Completely soggy so was the paper packaging. Put the insulin boxes in a bag!!! Who puts it in paper and let's it get wet. It was also barely cold. This is totally unacceptable it needs to be kept in the fridge. I watched the Pharmacist go to grab it and she didn't go to the fridge she bent down on the floor and was there 5 minutes. Why aren't you storing insulin in the fridge. Unused Insulin needs kept refrigerated and cold otherwise it's will go bad. I won't be back here again. Generally they were nice though and tried to go above and beyond but barely cold insulin is just wrong. Hopefully it won't kill the half life of the multiple month prescription I picked up a month ago. I used To have Kaiser and they would have never done this to me because it's unacceptable! read more

A pharmacy, with elderly and sick people. People waiting for immunizations etc... CVS says they don't have a bathroom (seriously???). They tell their customers to go next door to Michael's or staples to use their bathroom. I was about 20 seconds away from wetting my pants. Using the restroom should be a human right. Went in a week ago to get some passport photos for my baby who is 9 months old. The lady from the cashier sat baby on stool and we were able to take the pictures with no problem. Went in again today to take more pictures since the baby has more than one nationality and the representative Jeff denied the service. Said they don't take pictures of infants even when I mentioned I was able to take this picture last time. Very disappointed. read more

Staff Pharmacist Michelle Lopez went above and beyond today to process and fill my scripts. She directly contacted my new insurance plan to resolve a coverage issue and, simultaneously, kept the pharmacy running by coordinating with the other pharmacist (whose name escapes me, but I think his picture is on the wall), as well as CVS staff members Jessica, Alex and (the legendary) Quan. That said, this CVS pharmacy is extraordinarily busy and does seem understaffed. I hope the people working today are well-paid and getting more help soon--they deserve it! read more
