No hi, angry face with every single customer, then started to shove my cart out of the way with my CHILD sitting in it before I even got the chance to finish putting money back in my wallet. Frozen seafood selection was scary terrible. Selection From contaminated waters and red flag species! Aldi should know better. Went here to check out some stuff I saw on IG for Valentine's and they had some things but not everything that was advertised. I got a cute Valentine's dog shirt, kitchen organizer, frozen breakfast burrito, and Valentine's Day candle. I was at the cashier to pay for my things and I honestly felt really rushed because the cashier was very fast and seemed impatient. She placed all my things in the cart parked next to her and I got so flustered and felt rushed that I started to leave with my stuff in the cart and she was rude in her tone and said that it was her cart and that I can't take it. It just threw me off cuz I'm not used to someone packing my stuff and putting it in a cart and my natural instinct is just to take the whole thing. Making this simple!! I have never had a bad experience at Aldi, for the most part. Last night I went in around 8:30pm cashier Alfredo was the most rudest person I have ran into there. Not only did he already give us a dirty look while loading my 5 items he put my stuff in another persons basket. The couple in front of me were Seniors so they were kind of lost on why they didn't get a bag(yes they should no but u should still let them know) it could have been their first visit. The lady was so confused as to why our stuff is together. So he told her with attitude "you could of got a paper bag over there" so then my husband says" what's the purpose of all our stuff in 1 basket" of course he ignores us. You can't go wrong at Aldi. They have great prices, a fun variety of products, and a risk-free return policy in case you buy one of their private brand products and don't like it as much as a more expensive brand. (I've never had to do this, as they do a great job with their quality.) This Aldi has a nice big parking lot, so it's very easy to get in and out. The set up here feels backwards if you are used to visiting other Aldi locations, as the entrances tend to be on the left side of the store, but this one is on the right. Not a big deal, but it might feel a little weird at first. Great prices on produce and availability of vegan items as well as a seasonal aisle that adds new products weekly. If you see something you like, buy it, because there's a good chance it won't be there next time. read more

Most of the staff here are rude. The store is a bit unorgnaized and dirty. I was at this Aldi's today 02/09/2025 @ 1:30 pm trying to buy snacks and wine before the Superbowl. The heavyset male associate saw me trying to get wine and would not move his inventory cart out of the way for me to see the wine. Very rude store associate. I complained to management. I spend lots of money at this location and shop here multiple times a week. I will start going to the Tustin store from now on. There is no excuse for rudeness and poor customer service. I told Management and the Female Manager could care less. I went to buy my wine at Trader Joes and the guy there even told me where to find the wine I was looking for. They actually help you there and at Aldi's there is no customer service or help. They have some good deals, but today did me in on this store location. read more

This location is clean, quiet, roomy and welcoming! It's easy to miss this off of Bristol because it's in the corner of the shopping center, almost like it's hidden in plain sight. I've been by here twice now and there's ample parking, the security guard at the door is friendly and I find what I'm looking for most times. There's not many transients outside or inside compared to the other Aldi I frequent in Anaheim. Everyone's super nice too! read more

We stopped going here because of the blonde "God bless you" cashier. Also, this is an ALDI thing and I get it, but there's a pandemic and they're still having people share their carts at checkout. Other than that the prices are pretty good and they are generally stocked decently. The quality of food is not the best but you learn quickly what to avoid. read more

Went in today on April 4th 2021, dealt with one of the rudest cashiers i ever had named Stephanie on register #3. She was abrasive , handled my stuff roughly and got an attitude with me when i pointed out politely that she was placing my purchases within arms reach of another customer who was bagging his items as well and almost reached for mine. Decided to order an Instacart delivery from Aldi. My order came within a couple of hours. Aldi was able to fill a lot of my desired order. Which in these times is pretty impressive. Some vegan items are limited but they do have good produce and you can get fresh eggs! Overall, on our third week of lockdown and I am very glad for Aldi and Instacart. A lot of other stores have no delivery slots at all, so give Aldi a shot. Recommend. read more

So glad to see Aldi expanding with new locations all over OC. I love shopping here. The prices can't be beat and we love their cheese and a few other Staples. The weekly specials are always worth checking out, usually seasonal items, clothing, decor for the home and gifts. One would think you would only get charged the items you purchased. Don't make my rookie mistake and check you receipt before leave. Only one guy working the cashier, of course I was stuck behind people making large purchases. The staff was friendly but he apparently wasn't paying attention how often he was scanning, I found out the hard way. I didn't realize until I got home so I tried calling the customer service line 800-325-7894 printed on the bottom of the receipt but it kept taking me in circles. So I called the store number listed at the top of the receipt 855-479-5034 but that number is disconnected. So called the number listed on this page, only to be informed, the store numbers are pretty much defunct. So I need to visit the website. Here's hoping I have more success on that. read more

Welcome to Aldi #34 in Santa Ana on Bristol next door to Burlington. I happened to drop in here once I couldn't find chair cushions next door. It's hard for me to shop At Aldi in general not knowing the quality of the brands they have on sale of processed foods, so I mainly shop for produce, meat, and paper products for work like tissue and paper plates and plastic cutlery for potluck. However, my son said he was out of cereal and knowing he enjoys the high protein variety with a bran, nuts, and granola, I found a box that would have probably been around the $5 range in a regular grocery store for $2.89 and it was cinnamon flavored. If it likes it, total score. Otherwise, I bought bananas and grapes. The store is clean and the speed of service at the checkers is totally based upon whether you're behind someone who just loaded up with their week's worth of shopping or not. I had to switch lines to get out of having to wait behind someone with a full basket. read more

The staff here is extremely helpful! They have all been SO nice to us, when we shop here. And did I mention, it's affordable here. You get a lot of groceries for not a lot of money. They also have GF and organic produce. This store has a giant parking lot in front of it, so parking is not a problem. Bring a quarter to get use of a shopping cart. Came here to buy their 2% low fat organic milk in the gallon. It's only $5.89 which is the cheapest I've seen at any grocery store so far, when compared to Trader Joe's, Sprouts, or Costco. It tastes great too, perfect for the toddler. read more

Did it ever occur to you that as a result of saving money on payroll that ALDI is able to charge less on their items? This store has been my favorite grocery since it opened. Aldi has great prices and great specials, and I went out of my way to come here. Unfortunately, I won't be shopping here any more, at least for pantry items. A few months ago, I had a terrible weevil infestation that ruined all my grains, pasta and teas, and I wasn't sure where it came from. Today I caught a LIVE weevil in a pack of basmati rice I JUST brought home from this Aldi. No savings are worth dealing with this. read more

I guess it all depends upon what you can eat. Being at end stage kidney disease, all the packaged foods with preservatives, food colorings, artificial flavors, nitrates, sulfites, etc etc all make my kidney disease worse. So no packaged boxed foods. I don't care about name brands as they mostly belong to said packaged boxed foods. Fresh fruits and veg are only OK. Sometimes the prices are good, but only on a few items. The peanut butter has preservatives, the jam has too many sugar, and the deli meats have nitrates. The dried fruit all have sulfites. The large blocks of cheese is good, and they have gluten-free breads. However, every time I've been here, there's ONLY one loaf of GF white, one loaf of GF wholegrain, one loaf of GF bagels. If I want to buy more than 1 loaf, it's not available. Their GF bread is 50 cents cheaper than Trader Joe's, but the bread is sliced thinner and shaped larger. TJ GF bread is thicker but smaller. Since I can get better priced fruits and veg elsewhere, just to go out of my way to buy 1 loaf of bread and 1 block of cheese ?!? I spend more in gas money than the savings. So 2 stars for me. read more

I love this store! I have been going to the grocery store since it opened. I live around the corner, so it's super convenient and very affordable. I usually have a good experience while shopping there until today. As someone who works in management and customer service, I believe you should always treat every customer equally and be kind and courteous to everyone. It's a golden rule. Now this incident happened today Sunday August 9th at 3:30pm on Register 3 with an employee named Samantha. So first off, I accidentally went into the wrong line because I thought it was open and Samantha SHOUTED at me saying that there is a line. I understand it's busy, but it was very unorganized. I didn't appreciate being shouted at. Samantha gave a bad attitude and was extremely rude. After that, I hopped into the line and I unloaded my groceries on Register 3 with Samantha. There was a couple right in front of me. I was watching their interaction, I saw that Samantha was being extremely nice and courteous. She said hello to them, she asked them how they were doing and was super kind to them. They proceeded to pay and then she said "God Bless you, have a wonderful day". Now I was up next. When she rung up my items, she did not say hello, she did not ask me how I was doing, she did not speak one word. She did not give me the same customer service that she gave the couple before. She looked very bothered and it seemed like she did not want to ring up my items. This made me EXTREMELY uncomfortable. I felt like she singled me out. She did not treat me equally as the couple before. I don't appreciate this level of rudeness from an employee. As a loyal customer of Aldi, I expected much much more. This was not okay. I only came here twice to complete Instacart orders for customers and the customer service is awful! Cashiers are extremely rude and literally rush you out of the market. Our cashier was Jessica. We loaded an order our first time at ALDI on the belt and had no idea the plastic bags to purchase were below the belt (somewhat hidden) and she starts raising her tone of voice and proceeds by saying "Can you hurry? I only have 21 seconds per customer transaction". She said that while she was still ringing up items, so it's not like she was waiting on me. Our basket was completely full, so we tried putting half of the items in a second cart that was empty nearby and she starts raising her voice in a rude tone saying "only one basket per customer". My first visit to the new Tustin Store. Low ratings marks. I did go to the store for better pricing, I was seeking experience and a good service approach. 1. Bring a quarter to unlock the cart? Who today has a single coin to unlock a cart?? 2. The store is laid out Bargin Market, but runs like Dollar Tree or the Kmart of old. 3. Many if the items they sell are what you would eat in the mid west. Our needs are far different. 4. The packaging seems to big. 5. When go to check out your groceries are not bagged. You then need to buy additional bags to then bag your own grocers on a long table. 6. Zero experience or leadership in the store. ** across the street you see three to four managers working the store. 7. The parking lot doesn't work for drivers, to small entrances, unsafe. 8. The store puts out large trash collecting bins around store that are wire, about 5 feet square, 5 feet tall. No one seen emptying the bins... I saw a person drop and unfinished drink into the bin, liquid went everywhere on the floor. 9. I do predict the same cone as the resent OSH, new store look, but it with slow down after the holidays and close in two years. 10. It is not about cost, it is not about look... it is about servicing your customer, helping them feel welcome, and most people want to ask close as they can to the actual farmers or grower. Wow this place is even more affordable than Walmart. And it doesn't have crazy many selections per item, like Costco. This is German company, that owns Trader Joe's. The foods are pretty fresh. One downside was that the milk and juices in the refrigerator section were not much far from expiration. The furtherest expiration date for milk was 10 days from today for a gallon of milk. The ones in the front were expiring in 6 days. I was like what? But all the fresh and room temp products were lower priced than Walmart for the similar product lines. I was stoked with the veggies as they were like 25 percent cheaper. I think they have a lot of in house brands and that's why they can provide lower price, like Trader Joe's business model. I'm definitely coming back again. It will be my store to shop grocery from now on. Carting is kinda weird that we have to deposit 25 cents to use it and get it back when you return at the station. But oh well, I love that it's not as crowded and lower priced for good grocery items. read more

I guess I was expecting more. I was out with my dog talking to my neighbor who had just gotten back from the Aldi in Fountain Valley. He said eggs there were 69 cents. Hmmm...I needed eggs and I wanted to try Aldi so I headed to the one on Bristol in which is closer to Newport Beach than the Aldi in Fountain Valley. I got my cart after somebody showed me what to do with my quarter. The good: Aldi carries a lot of organic items and organic produce for a good price. The selection was limited but this store is very small, I'm not sure if all Aldi's are as small as this one is. I picked up some skinny bagels, low fat whipped cream cheese. lettuce, eggs, tomatoes, turkey bacon, Halo ice cream, grapes, strawberries, bread, peanut butter, butter, lettuce, paper towels & other staples. The bad: The eggs here were $1.29. WTH? Also, the cashier was throwing my groceries so hard into my cart after she rang them up that she broke my eggs. She asked me if I wanted to go back to get another carton of eggs. No, YOU go back to get another one since you broke my eggs, which she did. Also, Aldi needs to re-think the "bag your own groceries" policy for it's American stores. I've been to Aldi in Europe where people go every day after work to pick up a few items for dinner. They don't buy a weeks worth of groceries like we Americans do because most take public transport and you cannot haul 10 bags of groceries home with you on the train. After the cashier checked me out I had to go over to the corner and bag all of my groceries myself with bags that can be purchased for ten cents. You can also bring your own bags. If the cashiers can throw your items into the cart after they ring them up they can also put them in bags for you. Just my opinion. The US has a level of customer service that you don't find in Europe and let's keep it that way please. Customer service is NON EXISTENT in Europe. Aldi, is good, not great. Grocery Outlet has a better selection and the prices are on par with Aldi or even lower plus the cashiers with put your stuff into bags for you. I will come again though since Aldi is cheaper than Ralphs or even Walmart but I'm just wondering why eggs were two different prices at two different stores on the same day? read more

Don't go here for the to good to be true weekly specials. I went here to buy 3 weekly specials and they were out of all of them. This happens all the time. I asked a worker about this and she said you have to come early. No, the solution to the problem is to order more inventory, It's not my responsibility to get here early. They don't have a phone number so I can't check availability, I have to keep wasting my gas to see if they have what I'm looking for. I said you have a weekly special and you're out on the first day.
