Super clean and well-organized store with friendly, helpful staff. I love that there's a Starbucks inside and even a key duplication service, very convenient! Parking and checkout lines can get hectic at times, but overall it's a great place to shop.

Was I the only one who didn't get the email that Krispy Kreme is now sold here? Hit the LIKE button if you're as hyper excited as I am!

Krispy Kreme (Nasdaq: DNUT) at Ralph's is a big deal. Only thing is they don't replenish the shelves quick enough so the whole thing looks empty whenever I stop by and pick up groceries several times a week. Also a note to Krispy Kreme, you might want to come up with sugar free donuts - with the abundance of sugar-free replacements containing Erythritol like Swerve and Monkfruit (I use both at home), which look and taste like real sugar yet have zero glycemic and Keto friendly, there's no reason why Krispy Kreme can't come up with 32 flavors of sugar free donuts for prediabetics and diabetics. Good job carrying these donuts RALPHS. I'll wait and see if Krispy Kreme hears me out. I know I'll be buying and handing out the new "sugar-free donuts" once it's around to friends and family every week.

They put this sale tag in front of the wrong item.

I like this Ralph's, even though it's a smaller store. The aisles can sometimes be a bit crowded with all of the side-stacks, which is annoying. The staff is friendly but on the particular visit I had a problem. I purchased two jugs of tea which stated they were 2 for $6. At checkout they did not ring properly and I had to go back to take a picture of the tag on the shelf. The problem ended up being they put the tag in front of the wrong item. They didn't offer me anything for the mistake they made.

Yeah. That's not a trimmed tri tip. That's a huge untrimmed fat cap. Thanks for making me spend the extra money on fat.

Easiest thing to do is pray and use the overflow lot to the side. With that in mind, this location pales in comparison to the others. Although Buena Park and Arcadia can get a bit tight for parking, it's never that much of a PvP zone where literally the entire zip code is in one place. It's also not the biggest H Mart that I've been to either. It's not a Super H Mart like some other locations. They do have a small food court off to the side, but seating is limited. The food court has Maison de Croissant (yummy croffles and other baked goods), Pizza Chicken Love Letter (at least the last time I checked), and I think at least one more. Like the other locations they have packed deli food and other bento box type foods that get discounted later on. Very busy and very crowded and since it's smaller, a bit more limited. Does what it has to, but definitely better locations out there.

The food court is pretty huge and spacious albeit it gets really packed. The grocery is good for what to expect for any Asian market but the main attraction is the food court. It may not seem like much but all of them are really good and would fill up your hunger instantly. My favorites from the top of my head are the Katsu Don if I remember correctly and the Udon section where you pick your tempura (don't know the exact name). Overall good place to eat lunch or even dinner. Another problem would be finding a seat since there's hardly any tables and your plate is pretty big and bowls are heavy so you have to be somewhat quick to find a seat. The ambiance is fine but that's kind of to be expect in any supermarket, which is usually crowds talking and all. I really don't have much to say. Ever since this place closed down the anime shop, the DVD store, and bookstore, this place pretty much lost what made Mitsuwa special and worth visiting. Especially for someone who's into both anime and tokusatsu like Super Sentai (Japanese Power Rangers). Those places are what got me my first Gundam model kit (Freedom Gundam from Gundam Seed) and my go to place for Japanese DVDs as mentioned (Gokaiger, Kyoryuger, and Nanoha). I understand why they close down these stores, especially with streaming services and online shopping are a thing, even though I don't fully agree as they are customers like me that would prefer in-store physical copies. That is why I deduct one star. These are replaces with a gachapon store, a Matcha store, a Boba store I believe and Daiso. The matcha and boba place (forgot the names sorry) are surprisingly good. I really like the matcha ice cream in a bowl and I believe the Doncha. The gachapon I cannot say as I never spend money there and I'm not into these gacha machines and I rarely buy anything in Daiso as its just your typical convenience store that sells some Japanese stuff so I won't say much. In conclusion, it's a very nice spot to eat Japanese meals and especially something to fill you up for the day while also shopping to buy Japanese food to cook at home. Just be aware this is pretty pricey, especially the Royce matcha chocolates and the food court.
