Very friendly staff, good prices for rx and other items. I never have to wait for rxs to be out of stock. They text me when my rx is ready for pick up and notify me when I'm due for a rx refill. Very convenient. I left another pharmacy (not gonna mention names but it starts with a C and ends with a S) because most of the time they were out of my meds and needed to order them, which took days sometimes. The place always had long lines for pick ups for scripts no matter what time of day. So I left there and went to Rite Aid. Have been happy ever since. read more

I came into Rite Aid to get my booster shot because I want to do my part in stopping the pandemic. I was able to make an appointment and also pick up some prescriptions I had. The pharmacist working was really friendly and knowledgeable. I can't remember his name, but he was wearing glasses and seemed to be the only one working!! Maybe Romeo? Although it was a little busy, he was able to get the job done. I also had a few questions about my medication and he answered it really patiently and explained it simply! It really was a great experience from getting the shot (painless) and from picking up my drugs (also painless) I'm glad that the pharmacist here was efficient, and the service was great - really takes the dread out of shots if the people administering it are exceptional. If you're like me and hate shots; come to this pharmacy and let it be the least of your worries. read more

I used to support this pharmacy when the store front was clearly struggling (as per my previous review) but even the pharmacy quality has suffered. I was waiting for a medication which I followed up with them week after week as they said they didn't have in stock and they would place an order. The week after followed up they told me they will put in another order to make sure it comes which it didn't. Eventually I had to call around other rite aid pharmacies to see if they had it in stock and they did so I transferred my Rx to that store so I can get my medication in a timely manner. I think this store needs major improvement from the lack of inventory where I go in there needing something as simple as a mouthwash which they completely run out off. I'm not going to waste my gas going to a store that is going to disappoint me when they don't have my item. I want to support brick and mortar stores but this is why I'm realizing online orders are more convenient in just guaranteed to have your time but sometimes even cheaper than what is in store. read more

I came here to return makeup and the lady who helped me with the transaction was nice. I then shopped for some things and my son accidentally knocked over a shampoo bottle and it broke. Some blonde lady with glasses and tattoos came over. I apologized for the inconvenience, she gives me a dirty look and then walks away calling for a mop and talking crap about us. As I stood in line to pay for my purchases, she walks by and states she'll be right with me and then when she rings me up she just looks at me instead of saying hello and how are you? I want to state how grateful I am for this location . They have one of the most espectacular above and beyond stellar managers. She is truly the epitome of highest quality customer service . The cashiers were short staffed and the line kept growing , but this supreme employee kept the lines moving so quickly, not only rushing through each customer but gladly offering a smile while I can see how demanding her position was especially in the rush hours of customers coming in and out. The pharmacist whom I believe is name Kelly is the rudest most bitter person I've met in a long time. She went out of her way to make me feel unwelcome. The few times I have visited they had my items. If I remember correctly they are a bit more expensive compared to other drugstores but not by much and this location is so convenient it makes it worth it. There is always parking when I go, which is usually in the middle of the day so that may change during other times. Also when I go there is little to no wait. Maybe one other person will be in front of me at the register but it never takes long. Most people, like me, only come here to buy one or two things in particular that are needed. The shop is always clean when I have gone. And the isles are organized and labeled clearly so I can usually find what I am looking for quickly and with no assistance from the employees. There is a smell to this location. Almost a sewer water-like smell. Just about every time I've gone in there is that smell. Granted, it's only been maybe 4 times in the past year, mainly because I would rather drive out of my way to go to a different rite aide or just avoid it altogether... but that smell is there. The employees that work the registers are usually friendly and helpful. They aren't the issue. I don't understand the logic of running 2 cash registers with only 1 person ringing. Having the employee alternate between customers. Maybe it's something I don't understand... but it's just odd. There is also a very strange policy at this location that requires all gift card purchases to be made with cash only... for any amount. This just doesn't make any sense. Today I waited in line, watched the employee alternate between registers then when I went to purchase the gift card was told it needed to be in cash. It was a complete waste of time. read more

The ice cream is awesome. Rite Aid is pretty standard everywhere you go. You come in looking for what you need, you come out with what you need, plus a little more if you give in to there candy deals. The employees that I've experience with in there seem rather mad serving the ice cream. I guess I would be mad to if i was serving ice cream all day to people who look to enjoy and be happy with the ice cream they get. They probably need Ice cream too with how mad they look. read more

The shelves are always empty and there is a poor selection of products. The cosmetic section is pathetic and it looks run down and gross inside like it needs major renovations. I don't usually leave reviews but my experience today was special. My 4 yr old son and I are in town for 2 weeks for work and we both had to go get flu shots. And my boy did NOT want that needle in him arm. He cried and cried, screamed and yelled.. literally for almost 20 mins he refused to get anyone near him. Thankfully ANDREW, the pharmacist/technician/nurse (I dunno what his official job title is) who administered the shot was the most patient and kind, gentle soul!! He was soooooo good with my son and seriously made my day that much easier. It was still hard and my boy was SOOOOO scared but, at the end, he took the shot and a scoop of sweet ice cream for his bravery. Thank you Andrew, for being so kind and understanding! read more

This is really for the pharmacy staff as my family and I are there more often than I would prefer ("unfortunately"); the store itself is great too but the pharmacy staff is just stellar. We've been going there for about 2.5 years. I've never been to a pharmacy (boutique or large corporation) that is just inviting, warm, know your name, ask about the family, work fast, explain things as needed with great information....they truly "bring it" everyday. (And we've gone to the CVS nearby, other Rite Aids in LA county etc, duane reade (in nyc)......ALL TERRIBLE!!!! So we have somewhat of an "educated" opinion.) It can't be the easiest job--they're working under the gun in a very busy area.. I pretty much always leave with a smile (and who leaves a pharmacy with a smile??) Although this is a very typical rite-aid it's good at what it does, always has the stuff I'm looking for, pretty good service. The staff is very nice and helpful here, I've made a few returns and some weird situations and they were all very helpful with whatever I needed. I have to admit I was in and out of here really quick, so I can't say a lot for the whole store.. but it seemed pretty standard for a CVS. I appreciate that it is open late and that they have at least a little of everything you need. I honestly just am blown away at how much more they charge for things. As convenient as this place is, I personally try to avoid it because most things are typically a couple dollars more than target or walmart. The people working the night I was there were pretty friendly, and from what I noticed the store seemed decently clean, which I appreciated. read more

This review is for the ICE CREAM only. I absolutely love Thrifty's Ice cream!! Which we all know is now Rite Aid Ice cream. When summer rolls around this is the best place to get great ice cream for just $1.79 for two scoops!! I would much rather have this ice cream then the over priced Baskin Robbins. I always get a scoop of Coconut Pineapple and Chocolate Malted Crunch on a cone. You have to get the cone guys, c'mon really, ice cream in a cup??? Next time you see a Rite Aid, you gotta try it! This location is awful. The hours of business change daily so you never know what time the store actually opens and closes. I was sick and needed to pick up my prescription here. I had to return multiple times in one day just to see the pharmacist because the store was opened a few hours later than what was shown. When I finally got to pick up my prescription I was told their credit card machine is out of service so they only accept cash. There was no ATM in the store so I had to exit and make another round. The pharmacy is generally open 9-6 which makes it impossible to visit for people who work during those hours. I will never file my prescription here again. read more

I came here to visit my friend and grab her discount card for Wetseal. Found out there was a sale on makeup. I don't need anymore makeup, but I ended up spending $23! Each item was about 2.50-3.50 lol. The sales for their makeup are the really good! This Rite Aid looks like it's bigger than other ones because the aisles are wider. read more

Christine is awesome! Tiffany however needs a whole bunch of behavioral lessons and maybe a professional one or two. History is for 17 months I have filled this exact same rx with exact same drug from same MD for 16 months. Let me explain, I dropped off my prescription for Concerta two weeks ago. Not one phone call - not one message to me or my daughter (who is there about every other day) that there was a problem with the prescription. Tonight I am told there is some "new" law where a MD has to write the generic name and NOT the brand name. When I questioned this I was told she threatened to hang up on me. I told her that she had terrible customer service and if I was loud it was because of my outrage at this incompetence. I was a few minutes away and told her she would have my paper rx ready plus all rx' for my family to transfer. Never once did she explain or say she was sorry. Or even try to make it right. She couldn't tell me the name of the law or when it went into effect. No, instead it was that the customer was wrong and somehow she felt entitled to being superior. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS! I called the store where there is no manager except daytime hours. And only contact would be for her (Christine) to contact me. The store is a mess - filthy dirty- and now horrible horrible treatment. I am paying them to fill a rx and educate me on the drugs. No where is it possible where I pay for them to treat me less than worthy. I picked up the paper Rx and went immediately to CVS Eastbluff. Approved in 10 min through insurance and filled within another 10 min! Plus they actually text me when it was ready! I asked if they knew of this "new " law and they have never heard of such a thing. Oh and their store manager is displayed with name and picture. WOW! What a difference true customer service makes. CVS - I am all yours. More people need to make the choices of who we allow to have our time and money -- IT IS A CHOICE! read more

This review is only for the Thrifty ice cream stand in the store. Ever since I heard about Walgreens buying Rite Aid, I had to go get an ice cream cone there in the event Walgreens does away with it. I had a single scoop of strawberry cheesecake on a plain cone in all its cylindrical splendor. Hubby had a double-scoop of 2 flavors that I don't recall on a sugar cone and he enjoyed it thoroughly, although he was losing utility after digging into the second scoop. It's best to stick with one scoop of your favorite flavor. I will likely go back a few more times just in case. I'm not sure where other Rite Aid stores in SoCal have the ice cream stand so I'll stick with this location for now. read more

I only come to this Rite-Aid for the pharmacy. As others have pointed out, the store is not in the greatest condition and could really use some sprucing up, but their pharmacy staff completely ROCK. Jack and Christine especially go above and beyond being helpful. Christine remembers who I am and what medications I need and Jack bends over backwards to make sure I get everything I need at the best value possible. I love this pharmacy! read more

They have a GREAT pharmacy. Everyone that works behind that counter is personable, friendly, and caring. They work quickly t o get you what you need so the wait is not long at all. They take the time to answer any questions that you may have...and did I mention they are friendly? There are times I've called to ask many questions. Each time, they took the time to answer them thoroughly, without making me feel rushed. If there wasn't a question they could answer at that very moment, they called me back with an answer. Even though they aren't open 24 hours, it is so much more worth it for their customer service. HUGE FAN...HUGE! read more
