I don't usually like doing reviews but for the price & the service I received this is quite triggering. No mapping is done on the face, the only reason I came here was bc my girl has been booked, and now my eyebrows are uneven. She trimmed more on the top right side which really blows since she had a clean canvas bc they were grown out. Hairs are still left below the brow. Like if I could leave a zero I absolutely would. The room is so dark and dim how are they to even see? So not cool when you spend $35 at this point I could've gone to a corner spot for $7 and receive the same if not better service. read more

I had wanted to wax for a long time instead of shaving or trimming. The feeling after a couple days of either or, was not satisfactory. I was left wanting the feel of smooth skin. I had looked over plenty of places, some close to work, some close to home. After finding HIS+HERS waxing co. while using a search, I saw plenty of great reviews and felt I would make the appointment. The pricing was fair and the business was super close to home. The social media involved also helped make my decision. I had a trip out of town planned and was lucky to find this place with available time. Finding the entrance did go quite as easily since my maps were putting me in the wrong side of building. I should have read my email a bit more. My first visit was with Mia, who was very professional and kind was such a great vibe. I had appointment for Chest + Stomach. Mia helped to provide a great experience and was great with conversation. I'm sorry for all the giggling, my stomach gets ticklish very quick. The service was awesome and booked follow up before I left. At the same time, being so happy with my results, I booked to do arms with Jessica the very next day. The second visit with Jessica was just as wonderful. Amazing quality to detail and great customer awareness. I felt very comfortable and before I knew it, my arms looked so fresh and clean. She keeps a great business and will continue to support. Aftercare was explained so easily by both Mia & Jessica. So far I'm a few days past both appointments and all areas waxed look awesome and feel great. Looking forward to future visits. read more

This was my first wax, so needless to say I was scared, nervous, and shy coming into the multi-room facility. As the process started all my anxiety over potential pain and awkwardness began to subside because the wonderful Mia made me feel at ease through conversation and laughter. It all went by so quick as well--from sign-in to completion--it took about 30 minutes. There were definitely painful parts, but I'm so happy how my man-zilian full came out. I feel so much fresher! If I do get a wax again, it will certainly be this place. Yelppie Tip: waxing for men can get on the pricey side, but His+Hers is very reasonable. P.S. Sometime ago, 3/2/2023, I booked an appointment for my daughter with Paige. I arrived on time, wandered around the building, not knowing what entrance to use, or know exactly what building it is. Still, I was on time. After about 5-10 minutes, I found the entrance in which one has to be buzzed in or have a code to enter. I waited, waited, waited some more. Another patron and myself were finally allowed into the establishment. I had a seat and waited again. Our aesthetician came into the lobby and found us - about 10-15 minutes later. Far from apologizing for the wait, she told me we were late, and that she would wave the late fee this time around. I was floored! I was a first time customer for crying out loud. Not a good way to start this visit. She finished waxing my daughter's brows, I paid and tipped her. Wether she did a good job or not is not relevant, as she had already left an impression on me. I've been getting Brazilians for years with a different waxing company and after coming here I realize I've been missing out on what a wonderful service it can be! Paige has a touch so gentle it didn't hurt as much as it normally does, and it was such a relaxing experience in this studio. I left the room feeling so peaceful, it was a wonderful experience with the aromas and ambient lighting. Brazilians are something I have never looked forward to, but now I feel more at ease going into the appointment. And on top of my experience during the appointment, the results were amazing. Normally I break out in a bunch of tiny pimples after my waxes because my pores become open (May be TMI, sorry) but with Paige I didn't have that problem. I have never been waxed before and I was quite nervous. It's something I'd been wanting to try but have always been a little afraid to. A friend recommended His+Hers and even though it's a bit of a drive for me I really wanted my first time to be somewhere I knew I could trust, especially being a guy. I was getting a full Manzilian with a Soothing Gel Mask, I know, interesting choice for a first time waxing but you know, go big or go home. I usually have no shame but I was honestly a little nervous. Mia instantly put me at ease. She was so down to earth and friendly, yet extremely professional. Right off the bat we were chatting away like she was doing my nails or something and was really good at keeping the flow going so I didn't concentrate on the actual hair removal part. If you've never had it done, yes it's a little intense at first, but it's a little like ripping off a band-aid. If you do it quickly, the second after the band-aid comes off you no longer feel it, and this is the same way. So if you're worried about it hurting, don't let that stop you. The movies and TV make it look so much worse than it actually is. And the Soothing Gel Mask really helps you relax after. I don't know if it's something you absolutely have to have, but really, if you're going to go this far, pamper yourself. It's worth it. I honestly went in thinking of it as a one time experiment, not really thinking about future visits but it was such a great experience I'll definitely be back and will probably do my chest next time as well. Year update: Since moving to OC this has been the only place I come to for waxing. Got a spray tan yesterday for the 2nd time ever and love it. So happy I found this place. I am a BIG advocate of giving patronage to small businesses, but never at the expense of great technical service as well as guest service and here I've experienced the best of both worlds thus far! First we had Jessica (the owner) for my teenage daughter's brow wax. My daughter is extremely particular with her brows and Jessica executed them fabulously according to her requests. I've interacted with Jessica via text to complete transactions and she's always been extremely professional and accommodating. I've also been able to navigate scheduling and moving appointments around on her scheduling website with ease which is always very convenient. I've had Paige for 2 Brazilian waxes. Paige is very thorough and detail oriented (very important for a Brazilian as the female anatomy can be uh...tricky...if ya know, ya know, haha) She also did my brows today. She was great at leaving as much as possible since I don't have a ton of natural brow, but still shaping so they look angled and clean like I like. Also, Paige has a fantastic personality. She is extremely professional, very down to earth, also kind and funny and very relatable. Those are nice attributes in a waxer to make the client feel comfortable when they are down in your nether regions for a bit of time. The facility is clean and professional. The business is a single suite inside of a building of many individual businesses. The treatment room has a very nice ambiance. It's low lit for a relaxing vibe and then they just use they're own high voltage light to key in on your waxing area. I've never experienced that before but I think it's a really nice touch. My wax experience was great! I was comfortable the whole time. The only thing was I was left with A LOT of hair still. I should've checked but I trusted that a thorough job was done. Unfortunately, I still look mostly unwaxed with several patches of hair left. I visited H+H this past weekend for the first time, and I was blown away!!! As soon as you walk in, the vibes are so calm/soothing. Mia is an absolute angel! She was so kind, thorough, and honestly has the gentlest waxing hands I have ever known! I have had my eye brows done since I was a teen and never has someone put so much time into shaping. I'm usually out of the brow chair in minutes at other places with fine results. However Mia both waxed and even hand tweezed to find the perfect shape.
