I haven't got a brazilian in years so I was nervous about how sensitive my skin would be, but Mia was so delicate with my skin and made sure I felt comfortable with my first experience back She's also an amazing person and we had a great conversation throughout our session which helped take my mind off of the brazilian hahah 10/10 would recommend her to everyone! read more

First off, I want to give a Shout-out to Amy for making sure I always feel comfortable during our sugar wax appointments. When I first came here she helped me realize that other waxers I went to were causing my ingrown hairs by pulling in the direction opposite of the hair growth, not the other way as you should with sugar waxing. She explained how I can minimize the ingrown hairs, and how to use a natural exfoliating brush to help when the hairs grow back. I took a few months off because of my schedule, then pregnancy, but Amy made me feel right at home again. Her work is also impeccable. She makes sure to make the area look nice and leaves no hairs behind. I will be coming back as often as I can. read more

I'm a long time repeat customer and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I adore Mia, she's such a good professional and a sweetheart. I have known her for 7 years and I still go to her wherever she goes. Her business partner Amy is also great, I have no hesitation going to them. I can't recommend them enough. I do sugaring with them, I've done it all, legs, underarms, Brazilian and everything else in between. My absolute go-to when it comes to sugaring. read more

This shop is Ukiyo. Located at the very end of the south and carmenita plaza right next to the bridge. 10/10 would recommend. Mia met me at the door and walked me into the room. She was super professional and has an awesome personality while being very professional. She got my sugaring done so quickly. The facility is clean and the room smells amazing. Couldn't ask for more. read more

This place is a hidden gem. I come here for sugaring, Korean lash lift and tint, and my brows, and every single time they deliver. The space itself is super cute with a relaxed, feel-good vibe that makes you actually look forward to your appointments. Mia and Aimee are the real standout. They both have amazing personalities, make you feel comfortable right away, and are seriously talented at what they do. What I really appreciate is that they never rush. It's not a quick in-and-out, assembly line type of place. They take their time and stay fully focused on giving you the best possible service, and it shows in the results. If you're looking for a spot where you can trust the service, enjoy the experience, and leave feeling put together, this is it. I recommend this place without hesitation. Once you go, you won't want to go anywhere else. read more

Love Amy!!! Thank you so much for your time, professionalism, and attention to detail!

Incredible experience here. Location can be a little confusing. At the building, look for a sign that says "ukiyo". That's where you'll be going. Mia is incredible. Right off the bat - she's so friendly and welcoming, making you feel so comfortable. She preps you for any pain you may about to feel, and keeps conversation going and it keeps your mind off it. Honestly, her personality alone will bring me back, but her professionalism tops it off as a bonus. She's thorough and just amazing. read more

This review is absolutely overdue. Mia is my go to girl for sugaring! I've been going to her for a hot minute now and I will literally follow her to the end of the earth. She is so amazing at her craft and she has the most amazing soul I've ever encountered. My sessions with Mia are always so therapeutic and I literally recommend her to anyone that asks me about sugaring or waxing in general. I will say that I used to go her regularly for my Brazilians and gradually my hair started growing in thinner and not as fast. Which is great but at the same time it means I see less of Mia. I literally get so excited when my hair is long enough so that I can book with her. If you have never gotten sugared and you want to try it out I absolutely recommend Mia. Her vibes and her space is just so inviting. read more
