Kimmy was my technician. I went in for a manicure and I initially wanted an off white base with a flower design. However, the gel I had on my nails were really dark and stained my nails. But Kimmy was super nice and patient and detail oriented in cleaning it up so that the white would be nice. And the white did come out so nice I didn't mind keeping it at that. If I had extra time I would've stayed to get a flower design but i unfortunately had to leave in a rush at the end. I would've trusted Kimmy to do the design if it wasn't for my lack of proper time management. Will definitely come back :) read more

I called and made an appointment for today at 5:30. When we arrived everyone was so welcoming and we were seated right away. Tee was my nail tech and she was so sweet. I showed her my inspo picture and she nailed it. I couldn't be happier. I don't know the name of the nail tech my daughter had but he was awesome. I have came here 3 times! The first time was about a year ago! I use to get acrylics and I loved the way my nails were done. So I came back recently but I do not get acrylics anymore I just get dip and gel on my natural nails. I am not very happy with the them. As they chipped the next day and don't feel very strong as they should not be bending with dip and gel on them! Sooo I gave it two weeks and my nail polish and the little dip that was on was so chipped up I needed a "fill" So I figured I'd give them one more chance. I have gotten my nails dipped numerous times at other places... So I know the process. The guy who did my nails the first time also did them this time his name was hai. He does not do the full process of dipped nails! My nails have no dip on them because after he filed them down after the dip and it took the dip off ! My nails are horrible and they are only 3 days old ! They should not look this bad ! I'm sooooo disappointed and I feel as if I wasted my money ! I am going back to my original spot and never trusting expo nails again! Unfortunately hai killed it for me! read more

Walked in, signed in on an iPad. Nobody said anything to me. 15 minutes later someone asked what I was getting done. Gel manicure and regular pedicure. All the techs were busy and there was one girl ahead of me. 10 minutes later I get told to sit in a spa chair. The chairs were all dusty and the table trays were filthy. The chairs are not massage chairs and they are very uncomfortable. The place doesn't have AC or they don't turn it on to save money. There's just a little fan circulating hot air. A lady finished and wanted to pay part cash part card. Her nail tech asked if she had Venmo. Then a guy with tattoos asked if she had Zelle because that way they didn't have to pay taxes. The customer said yes she has zelle. I sat there for another 20 minutes and the spa water got cold. Wasn't told a wait time ever and none of the techs were close to being finished. So I got up and the tattoo guy asked me if I needed a towel. I said no thank you and said I was leaving. He said something in Vietnamese to the other techs and they all laughed. Took my girlfriend here for Valentine's day as a surprise, and the older Vietnamese lady that has a twin was insulting us the entire time in Vietnamese (NOT knowing I am also Vietnamese and can understand). She called me fat, called my girlfriend "too dark and not pretty" and continued saying things until I started speaking in Vietnamese and she shut up. First time coming in to Expo nails and never again. My sister went in to get a gel manicure for her 18th birthday. She had the only male manicurist at the time. He argued with her about the nail shape SHE wanted. He then asked another older Asian woman, who then took my sisters hand and shaped her nail and asked if that was better. My sister said yes. This review would not be written if my sisters manicurist was as sweet and considerate as this woman. Instead he shaped her nails and then put WAY too much product to leave her nails, especially her thumb nail over bulging and noticeably ugly. My sister is too kind to be confrontational, but I told her she needs to learn to speak her mind with jerks who take money with no real attention to the detail of their work.
