The nail technician usually would tell me if there's extra charges, but this one did not. Couldn't tell the difference between a fairy dust and glitter gel top coat, and the difference was $10. But it's the principal behind not telling your client. I've never had this happen before. I've traveled a distance to come here, even when there's five other shops in walking distance near my house. I've gone here for the past two years, but unfortunately this experience has caused me to second-guess on coming back next month. The difference between two different glitters is an illiteracy on my end because I'm not in the profession, which should've been clarified. I don't like being surprised with extra cost when they never confirmed with me if it's ok. In this day and age, when the economies down, they should be more attentive to their clients and service. I get it three stars because of how fast they do it. It's usually 30 to 45 minutes. read more

They take same day appts for the most part and I've only ever had to wait maybe 15-20 mins before getting into a chair when I go that route (normally I'm in the chair within 8-10 mins of my arrival). Poor communication between front desk agent and nail technicians. The young female at the desk speaks fluent English, but she failed to inform the two technicians who were serving me what I had requested. I was very clear: A regular mani and a gel pedi. They rushed me into my spa chair. I don't care that their English is extremely limited, but the bilingual desk manager has a duty to tell the techs what I had asked for. That didn't happen. I asked the tech doing my toenails to see the gel nail colors and she nodded and said, "uh-huh." Three times! They did not arrive and she grabbed the mani polish. I asked her where the gel colors were so I could pick a color, and she threw a basket on my lap. I wanted the cat eye and had to ask for it. She basically tossed it it my lap. I couldn't look for colors because at the same time, they were doing my mani. They finally finished. Nice work, but not relaxing and a real struggle to be understood. I've noticed the service is much better when the owner, Brian, is there. I have been going here for a few years, but this experience turned me sour. They now take advantage of the good reviews and repeat customers. read more

Haven't been here in awhile and have always had a good experience. I just get a manicure alone or with pedicure in the past and alway just basic. No extra spa service needed so just regular service. Got a manicure/pedicure done today' and both ladies that tended to me were friendly and did quick work. All that being said, I was surprised when she told me it came to $50?! I mean again, I'm just getting my nails trimmed and light buff and in the past it's been about $35. Then when I go to pay, I say 20% and she says "so $70 total?" I guess she was thinking 20% for each technician? Am I wrong in thinking that's high? Idk, let me know if I'm out of touch but feel that's a lot. Anyway, I am happy with the work done so don't get me wrong but with everything else's being so expensive these days and being a man where I can do a basic job on my own, this is a luxury and not necessary. This isn't a service going up in price that can be blamed on inflation or tariffs, which are a hot topic so I don't know how you justify the increase. Just be careful business owners in general when you try to increase prices on everything because you risk losing customers. There is literally a place a block away that has a sign for $30 mani/pedi out front but I came here because I've liked the service in the past. read more

I went in today, Sunday, after scheduling an appointment for 10am with Jade for gel builder filler. I had booked the appointment the day before and made the appointment for gel builder fill and pedicure. When I arrived I had only been booked for my gel builder refil. The person assigned to do my pedicure was Anna (she didn't introduce herself and I asked Jade, what the name of the nail tech completing my pedicure). I had told Anna that I wanted to take the gell polish off my toe nails and wanted regular polish. She proceeded to do gel polish. I had to let Jade know that I wanted regular polish. By then, Anna was beginning to cure my left foot. She ended up wiping off the ledt foot with what seemed like acetone and then buffed it. She only wiped off the gel polish off my right foot. She also did a horroblw job filing my toenails. My big thumb toenail looks round at the upper right corner. Although, both techs asked if I was happy with my nails. I couldn't believe that eiither of them thought the service they provided was satisfactory. This was a service that I paid for it wasn't free. The nail techs would talk to eachother in another language I didn't understand but hardly checked in with me to see I was happy with the service. Now, I have to pay to go somewhere else to get this fixed. read more

The sad part about this is,I been coming to this place for awhile.One of my best friends showed me this place cause she has been coming here for over like 8 years,the same lady that did my manicure today her name is Angie,she actually does my good friends nails all the time..Also the nail lady that did my horrible pedicure today,has actually did my pedicure in the past,many of times,and she never was this rude..I didn't have a lot of money today,but I did wanna feel some relaxation due to me being newly pregnant,and also having an important event to attend on Sunday..I chose to do regular nail polish on my toes,and Gel polish on my manicure today due to me needing the nails to last a bit longer then my toes cause I have a event to go to on Sunday..The very second the 2 nail lady's hear that I was getting regular nail polish on my toes,and Gel on my fingers,they started talking crap in there language,and laughing at the fact that I chose this for my nails today,and I just chose black for both nails and toes..I have never had a pedicure and manicure to be done in less then 40 minutes..The lady that did my pedicure,was being SUPER FAST,she scraped the skin on the top of my toe nails,now I have burning and redness on my skin..I got callus remover which is extra,and she scrubbed each of my feet for like 10 seconds each..The clear nail polish that goes on top,she fastly put it on so quickly that it didn't even look like any was on my toe nails.And when I was done,she aggressively pulled my pant legs down,and just said "be careful for them to dry,that's why getting gel is better" and that was it..I should've even gave them a tip at the end of the day,but I did cause I'm not like that..I will never bring my service here again..I actually used to spend a bunch of money here,a lady name Lynn used to do my nails,but it's sad when you don't have alot of money and you still go in there to pay for a service,you should still be able to get good service..But it goes to show when you don't spend a lot of money here,how these places treat you..I will now be taking my services elsewhere. read more

Consistent and quality service. The nail salon is clean with a nice decor. It does get busy some days, since it's a smaller shop, but always worth the wait. I book appointments and in so doing, I have never waited more than 10 mins during peak hours. Everyone I've dealt with here is friendly. I am loyal to Mia for my gel manicures as she pays attention to detail and my nails are always to my liking. I have consistently requested Emily for my pedicure and she does a great job as well. Service is great! I only use gel now. The product quality/brands used are long lasting and hasn't once faded or chipped, even with my busy lifestyle.
