I've been driving from LA to Kat's for lashes since 2023 and have been wearing them over a decade and will not go anywhere else after. She was highly recommended by my cousin. I love her work! So meticulous and detailed, lash by lash application. The vibe is so relaxing, I fall asleep and wake up with beautiful volume lashes. It's not noisy like other salon. I trust her work and it comes out perfectly beautiful each and every time!!! read more

The best in OC! When it comes to ingrown nails and over all cuticle treatment this lady is the queen. I have bad ingrown especially my big toes, she is the smoothest and gets em out the correct way. For being a guy i am clueless on where to go for these things. Luckily my wife recommended her. Your one stop shop. Five stars baby! read more

AMAZING! Kat is truly the best at her craft. She is the ONLY person I trust with providing exceptional service and she does it with such great care. Kat's Nails & Spa is THE BEST salon to get all your beauty needs. The atmosphere is peaceful. Kat is such a doll and goes over the top! She always does such an amazing job. I get acrylics and she doesn't make them all big with that acrylic bump. Even Cindy does a great job and she just did my pedicure and they feel so smooth and fresh. ***UPDATE*** A whole month later! No lifting, no chips, and no breakage. They still look amazing. I didn't want to get a new set because I wanted to see how long these can last and I am so impressed. Thank you again Kat for being incredible! read more

By FAR the BEST pedicure in the south land!! I drive more than 30 minutes to get here because it is THAT good. Kathy is fearless when it comes to ingrown toenails, dead skin removal, etc. Additionally the length and shape of my nails is always perfect. I can't always count on that elsewhere. Kat has been my lash girl for 7+ years. it was a fateful day in late december 2014 - I had my first set of lashes applied by Kat, and I have not looked back. I love how they brighten my overall look without daily maintenance on my part; just refill as needed. and, as anna faris says in "the house bunny" - the eyes are the nipples of the face. cheers! ;) read more

I am extremely impressed by Kathy and her work! Before I started seeing Kathy to have my nails done, I used to do them myself because I was very unhappy with the lack of detail and care that many nail technicians put into their work. The issue with doing my own nails, however, is that it's extremely time consuming and when using normal polish I have to touch them up weekly and repaint them every two weeks. I finally decided that I wanted to try CND shellac due to its long wear and purported minimal damage, but since I couldn't get the CND system and supplies for home use, I found Kathy through CND's website, cross checked her with Yelp, and gave her a call. From my very first appointment Kathy has done an impeccable job on my nails. I always have French tips applied to my natural nails using shellac (also largely referred to as gel), and only have to come in once every four weeks! My polish never chips, and the shellac works as a protective layer, strengthening my nails, so my nails never chip anymore either! I used to be extremely weary of thought of applying gel to my nails due to fear of damage but after three applications of shellac over the past twelve weeks my nails have not shown any damage. Not only is Kathy's work extremely long lasting, but she is very sanitary, and is extremely knowledgable in the field. I managed to rip one of my nails between manicures and did not want to have to cut it off because then I would have to cut all of my nails to even out the length, so I texted Kathy for an appointment to have it repaired. Kathy explained to me very clearly that she was applying a mixture of acrylic just over the ripped portion of my nail, without filing the nail bed down. She stated that with her method, once the repaired portion of my nail grew back out, the rest of my nail would still look even and wouldn't be burdened or damaged by what an application of full acrylic would do. Once Kathy repaired my nail she redid my polish and it hasn't been an issue since (this was two weeks ago btw)! Oh, and you also can't tell it was even patched up, her work is flawless! Since I started seeing Kathy to have my nails polished I haven't even contemplated doing them myself again. The shellac is amazingly long wearing with a beautiful everlasting shine and the care she puts into her work is what makes me so happy to come back each time. I absolutely love Kathy and I would recommend her to anyone. She really believes in maintaining the natural integrity and health of your nails. The last time I was there her previous customer was leaving and showed me the design on her nails, but I was more stricken by how beautiful the length and shape of her nails were! Before she started seeing Kathy she used to use acrylic nails but Kathy helped her transition away from them and her natural nails were gorgeous! In addition to being a knowledgable, skillful, and attentive nail technician, Kathy is also very sweet and lovely to talk to. I always leave her salon feeling so happy, just seeing her always brightens my day. Another plus that I love about her is that she has an extensive list of complementary drinks and after my first appointment with her she gave me a card with her cellphone number so I can text her to make appointments which is so convenient! In the end I definitely recommend Kathy! She's absolutely amazing in all aspects of her work! read more

I have been coming here for years. KATHY always takes time on the pedicure. This place is clean. I strongly recommend making an appointment.

Kat is the sweetest person ever, she puts in so much time and effort into one single nail. She is super hard working and is very sanitized and careful. This is my second time going but I would totally recommend this place. Although to make appointments is more accurate than walk ins. I got acrylic gel for only $37, not only is the price fair but she does an amazing job all the time. Thank you kat! read more

This place is a hidden gem! I wish I discovered it sooner. I have been to many salons in this area and none have provided the customer service that Kathy provides. She is so personable and honest. I love that she only books one customer at a time because she focuses all her attention on you and makes you feel like it's your own personal spa. Kathy is also very good at what she does and makes sure that you leave completely satisfied with the services you're getting. On my first visit, I got a mani and pedi and she spent time helping me choose a color. My mani and pedi look perfect and it's been over a week and still looks great! I also got my eyelash extensions here and it took about 1 hour. It was my first time and I absolutely love the results. I will definitely be returning! read more

Wow...almost two years since my first review of Kat's Nail & Spa. How time flies. I am, again, attempting to 'nip' (pun intended ;) ) my nail biting in the bud. I was able to do so for a whole year after my first few visits with Kat. I have never, ever had a manicurist do such a 5 star manicure as this lady does, in my adult life. When I leave her establishment...my cuticles and nails are so clean. So, I am updating my review to recommend her, again. If the reader has a nail biting problem, please seek Kat out. She is a delightful lady and will encourage you. Plus, she has a Very nice shop. Clean, modern. quiet. She also does waxing (I get my eye brows waxed too) facials, pedicures, eye lash extensions, etc. Remember to call and make an appointment before hand. If she doesn't answer, leave a message. She is Very professional and will return your call, promptly. Because the City of Stanton is going to begin building a new shopping plaza on the southeast corner in front of the track of homes and businesses where her shop is located, it can be a little difficult to find. Use your GPS...it will lead you to straight to it. read more

Katy does an amazing job on my nails, brows & eyelash extensions! I am picky on having straight clean nails and definitely with my eyebrows. Katy can achieve those! Please make an appointment! She is by appointments only and I've read that one comment below that person obviously didn't read nor understood how businesses work and sounds pretty darn selfish just by reading her review. Katy takes her time to make sure you are happy with your results. I've been going to her for months and I haven't gone to anyone else since. She is kind, sweet & lovable! Wish I could give them 10 stars because this is the best nail salon I've ever been to. Kathy does a fantastic job. During the week she makes one appointment at a time so you get one on one personal service in a quiet relaxing atmosphere. There are beverages available such as water, coffee, tea and champagne. This combined with Kathy's talent makes this salon an excellent find. On the weekend she may have two clients at a time but it is still quiet and relaxing. My nails always come out perfect and she always has suggestions to help me save money. Her prices are reasonable and competitive. I just love this nail salon. read more
