What a sweet lady that did my nails but omg a gel x refill took an HOUR AND A HALF. And like many others reviewing nails are very crooked and do not look like each other!!. It just does not make sense how something so simple took that long. I'm tired of being stuck in situations like that.... I wanted to walk out as soon as it hit an hour. My nails shape is ugly :/ I'd definitely avoid this place in the future...

Number one they overcharged me and I had to go back and pick up cash Number two my nails are so inconsistent. It's embarrassing. I paid for a new set and a Russian manicure A Russian manicure is a dry manicure of the cuticle That's not what I got, they had me soak my hands and water Each one of my nails is going one way or the other and acrylic is very uneven spreading ugly. I am extremely disappointed. I paid for nail takeoff, new set, manicure, pedicure, and wax for $200 plus tip. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere Although they did offer to fix it. Why would I go back somewhere that every nail is extremely inconsistent?
My daughter and her friend (french nail) visited Phoenix Salon recently, but unfortunately, the results were not what we expected. The shaping of the nails was sloppy, and the overall quality wasn't great. We appreciate that the owner allowed them to come back for a repair the next day, but even then, the work was only slightly improved. Additionally, the service took over an hour, which felt excessive for the results. While we value the effort to make it right, we hope the salon can improve its techniques and efficiency moving forward. I also did offer to pay additional for any add ons that might be incurred. I completely get that this is post COVID and businesses have suffered. I would just like transparency on nail techs strong suits. I've provided an inspo of the french time we hoped for.
Amazing art! Nails look exactly like the photo l'd asked for. Thank you for Lucy and Tiffany, they still accepted me even they are about to close on a Sunday night. My hands and feet turn out perfect and ready for the holidays. I recommend this place .

Had the silver package manicure pedicure and that was so relaxing and needed! They also have a massage chair in addition to a water massage foot bath. Spent $51 for the combo which is a slight more price than my usual spot but omg was I relaxed. Hot towels on my arms and some scrubs for my arms and legs. I feel like a million Bucks and a new human! 11/10 recommend this nail spa
As someone who has never left a bad review, I felt this was necessary. I had found this place on Yelp and read through multiple reviews stating their experience was great here. I trusted the reviews and decided to give them a try. My mistake. The only reason I gave 1 star is because of the pedicure I received. The employee did a great job with that. As for my dip powder manicure, I could say the exact opposite. For starters, I was the only customer in the establishment and was early to my appt so there was no need to rush. I had two people working on me, one doing my pedicure and one for my nails. Since I had a previous nail set, the first step was to remove the dip powder I already had. The worker who was doing so did not completely remove all the material I already had on my nails from my last set. I mentioned this to her to which she rudely and quickly filed down my nails to try to remove as much as possible. After, she began doing the dip powder. I asked for French tip. She proceeded to apply a clear/neutral dip powder. After, she said she would apply a pink gel polish to help my nails look more natural and add some color. After removing my hand from the UV light, I noticed my nails had bubbles and looked like cracked glass. When I mentioned this to her, she dismissed it and said it was fine. I showed the nails to the lady doing my pedicure which she agreed and told the other worker that it was because she polished too quickly. After roughly removing the gel polish, she applied another coat. My nails still looked the same way and I had mentioned that to her. She continued to tell me that there was nothing wrong with them and then proceeded to file my nails down even more. After some time and lots of filing, my nails still looked the same. I informed her that it seems as if it was the dip powder but she continued to dismiss my concerns. I grew impatient and annoyed by her responses so I informed her I would just go elsewhere. I have gotten my nails done (dip powder, specifically) consistently for the last few years so I know what it should look like. I ended up getting up to leave. I told the worker who did my pedicure that I'd be happy to pay for the gel removal from my last set but would not be paying for the dip the other worker did. They only charged me for my pedicure which I appreciated. Overall, it was an obnoxious experience as I am paying $$ for this service and was dismissed when I had mentioned my concerns more than once. It seems as if she was in a rush and just trying to get out of there as quickly as possible. This is how my nails were left.
Sylvie made my broken toe nail look great with her talents and gave me an amazing pedicure with a great massage. We traded stories on female solo travel and she gave me advice for the trip I was leaving on the next day. I love this nail salon, there is no chemical smell and the massage chairs work great. I will definitely be back, thank you Sylvie!
Having a pedicure and all these grooming essential services were on hold for an entire year dues to the worldwide pandemic. As vaccines are more available to more people & a lowered rate of community Covid infections, California has slowly reopened these types of businesses. Kelly the manager has kept in touch by text to create and confirm appointments. I appreciate the cautious response to reopening. Masks are required and there is the temperature check as you enter. I feel human again after several weeks from the last time I was here.

Sometimes when life gets too chaotic, you just gotta stop, go to Phoenix, and get a fresh set of cat eye nails! That's exactly what I did. I walked into Phoenix with a mindset of "me-time" and just breathe. These ladies know what they are doing! I booked an appointment for both a mani-pedi and it was totally worth it! Pedi: it was super relaxing to give your legs some tlc! They were very meticulously on making sure my cuticles were at their best and their sugar scrub and cooling gel.. omg my legs felt so soft! And that minty/cooling gel they put on.. you gotta get that package! Mani: definitely get the gel for this one as well! Trust the process! I got the magnetic cat eye gel for my nails and they also added little hearts on them too! It's such a cute touch! Walking out of the salon made me realized... life isnt perfect but your nails def can be! read more

First time coming here and I had such a great experience! I walked in and was greeted right away and even offered water, which I really appreciated. Ivy took care of me (she's only there on Saturdays), and she was amazing. I decided to treat myself and went with the "Awesome Pedicure"... and it definitely lived up to the name. I got paraffin treatment on my feet. I also had to get my hands done since I'm a massage therapist, and she took great care of them too. Overall, such a relaxing and welcoming experience for my first visit. I'll definitely be back and bringing my girlfriend next time! read more

I love Phoenix! Always reliable and convenient. You can call or text Kelly (the owner) to schedule an appointment, even day of, or you can do a walk-in. Kelly has you covered! She is kind, super stylish, and makes sure you get the service(s) you want, taking the time to chat with you and your nail tech about the different options, preferences, etc. Everyone feels like family, which is fitting, as you will often see her son helping out with customers. He is also very kind and respectful, and he is learning some great life skills at a young age! All of the technicians are also super friendly and do a wonderful job. I've had my appointments with Sylvie the last few times. She's great and also very funny! A joy to talk with, and she makes sure you are taken care of with refreshments and such. My go-to is a gel pedi since it lasts a long time. I usually do the awesome pedi with all the features (scrub, callous removal, mask, paraffin, massage), but sometimes I splurge and do the jelly which has most of the above and feels really nice (with awesome scent options to boot). I have recently also tried their adjoining business a few doors down that does hair removal. I got my eyebrows threaded. It was quick and a great price, and my brows look awesome. Ashu got what I wanted down to a T (natural look, clean up w/ a little shaping, minimal removal to keep the integrity of my brows, especially in patchier spots). I am impressed with both businesses. They are comfortable, nicely decorated, have great availability, and know how to make you feel pampered and cared for, both physically and emotionally. I expect to continue visiting Phoenix for a long time to come, and I recommend you do as well! read more

This was a lovely establishment. Lucy and Kelly were so kind. They were understaffed, but still willing to fit me in. Lucy and Kelly stayed after the salon was officially closed to finish my service. Lucy ended my service and she didn't rush me or make me feel like I wasn't as special as every other customer. Kelly explained the jelly pedicure and was just so kind. I can't recommend this establishment enough. If you give them a try, they will provide a sterile/clean honest pedicure. read more

Came here for a pedicure a week ago and returned with my mom again this week for a pedicure (mom) and a gel x full set (me). Service is amazing, as the nail techs are attentive and accommodating. The owner is welcoming and always checking to ensure we are having a good experience. Maria did my gel x full set and pedicure, and I believe Lucy took care of my mom for her pedicure. We both walked away very satisfied with the services. I will be moving out of Los Alamitos soon but will be a returning customer even after my move. read more

All of the girls were nice, everything was clean but my nails were botched. The gel painting around it is horrible, the shape is even worse. I felt bad telling her they weren't right because she kept trying to fix it but she could not. She could not see how crooked the shape was. On my right thumb nail, she did not use the right size nail or she placed it incorrectly And you can still see part of my natural nail she painted over. It's the fact that I got charged for a gel X take off and you didn't even put the nails back on correctly. Like I said everyone was nice and It was nice conversation but I don't come to a nail salon for conversation. I came to get my nails done and I am completely dissatisfied. read more

Not only did I leave feeling utterly pampered, but Kelly was SO unbelievably kind to take me even when her shop was supposed to close in 10min. This meant so much to me because it's the night before my bridal shower and I spaced on making the time to get my nails done Before I left I made sure to make appointments for myself and fiancé the week of our wedding!
