I first came to Uni Nail to get my wedding nails done in Oct 2022. Since then, this place has been my go to for when I want to treat myself to manis/pedis. The space is very nice and clean. I usually call day of to ask if they have time for me and they always accommodate. They also take walk ins. Service is quick and friendly. I've worked with a lot of the technicians there. They've all been great. Tina is always very exceptional during pedicures. She's friendly and chatty but also takes her time to make sure my nails are on point. Prices are reasonable for the service.
I called on a Sunday evening, a little over an hour before closing to see if they had time to squeeze me in for a powder dip. They were really nice and were not hesitant on accommodating me. I felt welcomed as I entered. The place is clean and looks fairly new. I didn't get the name of the nail tech that did my nails. For the most part, she did an OK job. She took quite a long time and that's probably cus she made it really thick to start with. The painting itself is good, I got French tips painted over my powder dip. However, one of the problem is I wish she would've cleaned up my nails better. I paid for a manicure and powder dip so my cuticles were cut but not quite up to par. And I'm such a picky person I hate it when my nails look messy underneath and I still have to go home and refile. Overall a good place. They have a wide selection of gel colors and powder. Their pedicures are quite expensive though (starting at $35) Updated: I took another star off because day 3 my nail began chipping.
I made an appointment for me and my daughter at this new nail salon. No lines, beautiful and clean place with friendly staff. I am glad something nice opened close to me with no wait times and rude customer service. Hope it stays like this. Can't wait to come back again. My mail done by Anna. They even give us a thank you gift on our way out. Five stars and more
Let me start off by saying that this salon is brand spankin new - every single piece of furniture and equipment. It is such a beautiful space equipped with colors that come in regular, gel and powder (thank God!). There are so many amazing colors to choose from. We had the pleasure of being serviced by Maria and Tiffany. There were only 2 employees in the salon but they are by appointments mostly so it was perfect! We left so happy with our service and have vowed to come back. Take a look at the pictures and call and make an appointment. You won't be disappointed! New salon definitely coming off strong.
Oh boy, I was disappointed. it was my first time here and I had two stylists work on me. the service was fine. I wasn't paying too much attention, but they didn't nip me & the massage was fine. One main issue why I will never come back is because the stylist who did my pedicure didn't put in enough effort to polish my properly and unfortunately, she polished my nails as well. The polish was uneven. She didn't bother to clean it up, It was left all over my skin and on top of my cuticles.

I am particular when it comes to Nails aligning and could tell it was not my tech's specialty as my toes and nails were not well shaped, even after I asked for it to be corrected. I'm so so so sad to update my review. I went a few weeks ago and have been marinating on me experience and have decided it's pretty mortifying. I went in right before New Years, with an appointment, and the pedicure lady they originally put me with was aggressive and actually cut my skin open, right after I warned her about an issue with my toe. Then, after asking if I could just pay for what was done and leave (because I was sobbing) they switched the lady out and THEN she proceeds to get in my face about me being uncomfortable. Honestly.. I loved this salon but I am so embarrassed and my toe STILL hurts weeks later.. I won't be returning

Very disappointed in this place. The service felt very rushed and I came in first thing at 9am yesterday. There were only 3 customers inside and 3-4workers. Cuticles were not trimmed all the way and the nail polish came out very chunky/thick. They also did not paint the nails to the edges, which is kind of annoying. The ladies were nice, don't get me wrong. But just very very disappointed in how my nails turned out. It's a great pretty place, I just wish they actually took their time.
I'm so glad I stumbled upon Uni Nail Bar, a gem of a nail salon located off Katella in Los Alamitos. While Uni hasn't been opened for too long, since it's opening in June/July, I've gone about four times since then, and was pleased each time! Price point: Fair; getting your nails done is not cheap, so be prepared to spend around $40 for dip manis and $25-35 for a pedi. I'm obsessed with dip manis now, they last longer than gel, so about 4 weeks for me! Service: Of the four times I've been here, I've been greeted warmly each time. I only wish I took down the names of the ladies (and gent) who helped me my first few visits, but recently Tiffany did my pedi, and Kelly did my mani. Thank you Kelly for the cute glitter design! Ambiance: Small, but beautiful and super clean nail salon! All equipment are new. My only suggestion: please put something besides America's Funniest Videos on TV After months of searching, I have found my nail spot!
Came to check out this new local Spot after my nail lady from Orange was not available and so happy she wasn't. I called and scheduled appt with Maria and Kai, place is beautiful and very clean, service is top notch, they offer you something to drink (heard they have champagne) , my nails where beautiful and the pedi with flowers was so cute and pampering.

Beautiful dip nails - white tip - done by Hannah. At first, I wanted a white/pink ombré gel manicure, but turns out I didn't like how it looked on me. When I mentioned I didn't like it and asked if could just have French manicure, she did it without any hesitation or gripe! She basically re-did my nails with powder dip, white tip and I love them! I also had the royal pedicure and it was very relaxing :) I definitely treated myself today because well, why not? We all had a tough year... year and a half! My favorite nail place. I scheduled my third appointment with them later this month. read more

Came here yesterday for a pedi with 2 friends. The staff was polite, friendly and courteous and the inside of the salon is clean and beautiful. However I am so disappointed and frustrated with how my nails turned out. I gave them instructions multiple times that I would like my toe nails squared and filed straight across the top. When I realized they were not filing them properly I showed them a picture of squared toenails and requested for that shape again. What I got instead is lopsided nails of different lengths. I paid $68 for this gel pedi and left with unsatisfactory results. Some of the edges of my toenails were even left jagged. I tried correcting the shape myself at home with little improvement bc the nails were already filed too short. read more

I've been going to Uni since they opened:) Amazing work, trendy location, and everyone is very friendly. I switch up my nails alllll time. They have all the latest colors,techniques, and styles, which I love!!:). I also get regularly the honey spa pedicure .Very professional and friendly team! BEWARE!!! This place does not give you a true dip manicure!!!! Kelly upsold me a dip manicure, without telling me that $40 service does NOT come with cleaning your under your fingernails, soaking and cutting your cuticles or anything else like a normal manicure . She basically shaved down my cuticles and nails with her metal tool. After I realized she was not giving me a full manicure I asked about why she did not cut or soak my nails to cut cuticles.. she claimed it was an extra $5 on top of the $40. She offered to cut them after she had completed my dip!!!! for free to make up for it .... A joke!!! then smothered my hands with oil to cover up her bad job. No hand massage no lotion. There are plenty of other nail salons that will give you a full true manicure with all that included as it should be . Will not be going back to this rip off nail salon read more
