Unfortunately, this was hands-down the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. Leaving one star reviews are a rarity for me but in this case, it's necessary-- my experience is one that I really hope never replicates itself for someone else with their hard-earned money and valuable time. So my usual nail tech was out of town and I needed a refill. Saw this place in a plaza and said, okay, sure why not. Girl. It was SO WEIRD. First of all, it was hot as hell inside the salon. No AC, no fan, I'm starting to sweat. There's nobody at the front desk. I'm like okay, I should leave. This woman with a nose ring walks in with a look of annoyance that I'm there and asks me what I do want. I tell her, she gives me a price, I ask her is that the cash price or credit price. She smirks and says cash or card- the price is the same. That's strange because I clearly see at the counter that there is a sign that states if paid in cash, the price is cheaper... I shrug it off. I'm like, okay, whatever- I want my nails done and don't feel like going somewhere else. Girl, it gets WEIRDER. Like why tf did I not listen to my intuition, I'm still kicking myself for it. Not only is the woman doing my nails still looking irritated and bothered as hell, she is texting on her phone in between the service. Like ma'am? I got my nails done by THREE DIFFERENT women that day. When I was directed to wash my hands, each time I came back to my seat, there was someone new taking over. In my entire adulthood of getting my nails pamper sesh, I've never experienced three different nail technicians. So bizarre. To make matters worse, my nail broke the DAY after I got them done. Truly ridiculous. Again, never happened before. I'll remember this godawful experience the moment I ever think about ignoring my gut everrrrr again. My nail lady was mistakenly double booked so I decided to see if there was a nail spot near my sauna appointment, & yes it was within walking distance. I called them 20 mins before arriving and I was well received. They took their time and were very gentle. This place still does the nail soak, I'm noticing that some places don't offer that anymore. I loved that they gave me water immediacy while coming here. How nice of them. I've never been to a place where they give me water as soon as I sit down! The inside was very clean and nice. Booked an appointment for a Japanese organic manicure and pedicure. I was kind of disappointed, for starters I showed the lady the Groupon and she saw the voucher but kept clicking my phone trying to see "how much I paid for it" I don't think that should matter if it's the service I paid for. Groupon shows Japanese pedicure description and I did not get the cbd oil or candle oil massage no paraffin no hot stones no shoulder warmer. The manicure was just a regular manicure soaked in plain water no rose or herbal warm water, no paraffin no exfoliation at all no cbd oil no warm towel it was just a regular manicure. If I would have know would have just gone anywhere else for a regular manicure but I drove that way to experience what was advertised. When I told the lady I was missing all those stuff mention and showing her what the Groupon said she was just acting confused as I am showing her what was advertised saying no it's wrong. I messaged the number from where I booked and have not had anyone respond to me. The strong smell of incense in the main room & plug in air freshener, in the restroom was overwhelming. Very specifically, I asked if a color for gel nails could be the same for my pedicure. "Yes, no problem." When beginning the pedicure I noticed the colors were not the same. Again, I mentioned that color does not look the same. "Yes, it's the same," he responded. So, I asked for the color & side by side one was a light pink one was a taupe. Showing him I stated these are not the same. His response, "Oh, yeah, we don't have the same gel color for the pedicure." Ummm, OK. After that, the woman giving me the pedicure seemed very irritated. If a salon does not have matching color for both then just let the customer know up front. No reason to not be transparent. During arm massage he turns on chair massage which I did not request & asked him to turn it off. This one gets crossed off my list of go-to's. read more

I tried out this salon because I was looking to get a reasonably priced gel pedicure and they quoted me $35 which is beyond reasonable. When I arrived I looked at their pricing and I decided to get an express manicure for $13. They worked me for two hours which is fine I loved it. I don't have the name of the gal that did my nails because I wasn't completely satisfied because some of the shaping of my thumb nails were funky. However, AMY is the gal that did my gel pedicure. She was off the charts AMAZING! I have an excess of cuticle issues and she worked on my cuticles so long, again seemed like it took longer than it should have but I really didn't mind. So it was $48 +1 dollar for using my credit card and then tip of course. read more
