Came to Cassidy Nail's as my usual nail shop closes early on Sundays and I wish I wouldn't have come. The first nail technician I had was incredibly rough with my nails when filing and I kept reminding her about her it was too rough and she just kept brushing me off and chuckling. I also asked to remove a broken nail and stated I wanted an acrylic tip to replace it and she glued it closed and insisted I didn't need a fake nail. Then I was handed to another technician and while she was sweet, the damage was done. I wasn't happy as my needs weren't addressed and overall, I wish I could leave a better review but it's just a fair warning to all. read more

I finally received a call back from the manager who was apologetic and sincere. She asked me to come back to fix the problem. I couldn't return that day as I had plans. I went back the following Monday and had to leave 1 hour early to get this redone with the right type of nail polish so that it dries. It turns out the pedicurist used Gel nail polish- which requires a UV light - I did not request this service. She then failed to use the UV light therefore it did not dry even after several hours. Overall the problem was handled however, I lost 1 hour and 1/2 of work having to get off early. I will return and give them a 2nd chance as it is walking distance from my work place. read more

I looked at the nail shops in my area. This one had one point higher out of 5. I walked in at 1:45 and it was quite busy. Didn't mind waiting. The shop had TVs going, music on and it was quiet.. felt clean beautifully decorated. Kathy came over and got right to work. Very thorough and did a great job. Been going to this salon for years but took a long break after becoming a mom. Finally returned yesterday and they honored a gift certificate that was dated all the way back in 2019! Shortly after leaving my son of course stepped on my toe and chipped the new polish. I returned today to have it retouched and even though I insisted on paying (after all, it wasn't their fault at all) they refused to let me pay. A very kinds gesture. The staff was kind but didn't let me know ahead of time they were going to have me sit in the pedicure chair for 30 mins before even getting started, but when we called they said no wait. And I hate to complain but I did have plans 3 hours later so 30 mins of just waiting was bothersome. These are my nails I had to file them to get them to look taper square . When I got my acrylic fill the guy added nail glue instead of clipping the lifted acrylic that needed to be fixed. Also like at my cuticles like the guy didn't even bother filing it around to look clean, my nails look sloppy and dry. Also the application isnt totally smooth and look uneven sort of lumpy to me. My finger has acrylic on the side of it. I'm not happy with my service I paid a total of $89 for a fill and my toes with gel. I've been going to Cassidy's Nail & Spa for over 6 years. Jennifer does my pedicure. She is great. She is very good with ingrown toe nails. She not only makes my 75 year old feet look young, but she keeps me pain free from ingrown nails and my rough calluses smooth. She is a specialist doing pedicures. Van does my nails at making my acrylic nails look like they are my own, they never lift or chip. she is an expert at doing any kind of nails. Really difficult to review this place as it seems so hit and miss. 1- The first time was meh; with cold water soaking my feet, but decent attention placed in trim and polish. The foot massage was mostly on the shin bone until I told her to move elsewhere as it felt as though it was bruising. 2- Years later... I figured with such high reviews I should give them another go and trial them for my wedding. Great service, excellent polish, decent massage, good conversation. Wow'd me for a future visit and scheduled my wedding nails. 3- again, great service. Extremely patient with my group as they showed up nearly 20 minutes late. Friendly and interactive ladies working on the 4 of us. From a mans mani pedi to dip nails the service and nails were outstanding and no one had a negative thing to say. 4- the big day was only a day away, so my mother and I go in for our appointment. Everything went smoothly but they couldn't nail (haha pun intended I guess) the design I was looking for. So, I went with a simpler design they picked. (Ya... I know. My wedding and I let someone else pick. But hey, I was hopeful). It was poorly executed and you couldn't even tell what it was, I was constantly telling wedding guests what it was. 5- I had enough of answering questions what the design was. So I went in for a change. Ultimately I got more gel on my hands and feet, but had to ask too many times for them to fix the nail they touched before the paint set. 6- Normally I don't give this many chances, but it felt the "small" errors were simple fixes and I'd be more adamant about what I wanted. Instead the service started with several changing of the guard because I didn't want gel on my hands. And the lady doing my hands was so distracted she filed open my cuticle. Even after the changes I got a broken chair that kept sucking the protective baggy in so the dirty tub filled my water sack (floaties and all). Even during the polish the lady dropped the light on my toe and just let it cook instead of fixing the polish while it was wet. Then proceeded to keep polishing over it instead of fixing it. Finally when I showed her the sharp point that was now cooked into my nail she filed the top of the nail down and now just doesn't have paint while the dagger remains. So, in conclusion. I will not be back. Unfortunate as they seemed so full of promise. But between the pain I'm feeling in my cuticle bed (photo added), the sharp dagger that is now my big toe with no paint on top, and their lack of nail art skills- I'll take my $80 elsewhere. read more

I just moved near this area and wanted to get my nails done for Thanksgiving weekend. I'm so happy I found this place and this will be my new go to salon. All of the employees were very friendly. I could tell some of the ladies who were getting their nails done had been coming for a while since they were chatting and having a good time. I got my nails done by Mimi and she was very sweet. She did an amazing job in my nails and really took her time making sure the gel was perfect. The owner came by our station and wished me a Happy Thanksgiving. I've been coming to Cassidy's for about two years now. Inside is always nice & clean, they have a good selection of polish but definitely more for gel. Prices aren't bad either. I've never had a problem here & normally leave very happy but not today. Today I did a 'luxury pedicure' for $36, but it was not a luxury. The callus remover was done differently this time, she didn't even scrub my feet at all. My feet don't feel any softer or smoother then before. They lady cut my pinky toe so short that it bled. My toe nails are all different lengths & shapes. The polish was put on so heavy & thick. I'll probably come back again for another chance since this is the first time I've had a bad experience.
