Called and asked if they had availability for a walk-in GelX nails. They told me to come in and right away I was seated looking at colors. Clean salon and good TV shows they have playing. I didn't get her name but a younger woman did my nails and she did great. Very nice and polite, constantly asking me if I was okay with the progress or if wanted anything different. Overall really great service and im happy with my nails! I got design with 3D and was quoted $92 which is not bad at all. Definitely will be coming in (: read more

I've been coming here for years. They helped my nails get and STAY healthy and I can finally grow them out! English is not their first language so sometimes intent can be misinterpreted but they always want to be helpful and work with you. I used to come every two weeks but life is just costly so I tend to push out to three or even four weeks and they still look amazing. I come with a random design and Vy will do a wonderful job with fine lines. I always get compliments and even have other moms asking for the same nail design. If you want a resort like spa, this isn't it, these guys grind and will get you in and out, so come with the right expectations. read more

I'd give them 0 stars if I could at this point. I was getting my nails done by Bi for about 5 years and he AlWAYS charged me different prices for no reason. With one lame excuse after the next. I only stayed with him because the nails lasted 4+ weeks. I am a very simple girl. I like my square acrylic with gel and no designs. Multiple times, Bi would insult my nail shape by calling the square ugly and wide. Bi I was not paying you for your opinion. Get it! So now is my time to speak up. The last time I was there be almost refused to do my nails the way I wanted. I do not want gel x and that cheap crap you offer. I also wasn't paying your wife Vy to do my nails cause she sucks. Yet you always had her start it off until I said no. She always cut my cuticles when drilling me. I personally think on purpose because for what ever reason they hate square. Said they don't buy square tips because they are ugly. Ugly was a common word he said to me when doing my nails. Anyways... the last time I was there Bi was very aggressive with me by being rude, cutting my cuticles , and burning my hand with the hot towel by pressing it into my skin for about a minute. I would not give you the satisfaction knowing you were hurting me so a smiled wide in your face. Thankfully you cannot delete my review He charged me $85 dollars that day for acrylic with gel and some dumb unicorn powder that cost like $7 for the entire container. I texted you privately after the fact letting you know my disappointment in how you treated me and you never even responded let alone apologized. Shame on you as a business man. So because you couldn't handle it privately I'm taking it public. And I've waited a LONG time to write this review. I will never ever return and had to tell my story as this is an awful place to spend your money. read more

I've been going to Bi since 2020 and I honestly don't trust anyone else with my nails (although everyone at this salon does a great job!). Bi is incredibly consistent, super responsive when booking, and his work is always flawless! I always show him a color pic and he's so good with matching the color! Every appointment is smooth, professional, and exactly what I'm hoping for. You can tell he really cares about his craft and his clients. If you want quality nails and a tech you can truly rely on, he's the one! Vy is also amazing! Here are some of my favorites throughout the years! read more

Family owned business, by a married couple and they also work alongside each other! Earlier this February was the First time I came to this nail spa, they took me in right away on a 9am last minute appointment before a wedding! I came with my sister and they "nailed" the designs that we wanted with ease. They are all so kind, and work really fast! Fast forward to today, I still go regularly and I switched from acrylic to GelX. Best recommendation from the owners, who, by the way are really skilled in both methods. Here are my hand painted flowers on gelX almond nails. Super cute, I will continue coming to Vy and B for as long as they're open! read more

Came here for the first time recently and got a pedicure. Despite coming during a busy saturday afternoon, they were able to take me and got started on my pedicure pretty quickly! Got the basic pedicure, which came with a little massage and lotion and hot towel in addition to the pedicure itself, which was nice. Only reason that I have to give 3 stars is that I got nicked when they were trimming/cleaning up my cuticles (they pulled the skin too far back and I felt it hurt me). I was a little worried about that wound and I don't think they sprayed it with any alcohol (which I guess I could've asked for). Now I have an infection on my big toe where that injury happened. :( the area is red and inflamed. Currently trying to treat it at home. Sad because the folks were nice and this place is decently priced ($25 for basic pedicure), but I'm not sure if I will come back. read more

I found this place today after my son's soccer game. I never get my nails done but today I finally said, "I deserve it!" And wow am I so happy that I did. I left LV Nails with a smile from ear to ear. I went in as soon as they opened (10Am) and right away was seated and tended to. Vy was my nail tech and she did an absolutely gorgeous job. I took in a picture and showed her what I wanted. She exceeded my expectations. Fast service, yet she was very detailed and made sure I was completely satisfied. I definitely recommend this place. ZERO STARS. getting your nails done should be a relaxing experience, not a painful one. I have been getting my toes done for well over a decade and never have I wanted to get up out the chair and leave. I received a pedicure that made me want to kill my self. The electric filer was used to take off my previous nail polish from my toes..... the lady burned all the skin around every SINGLE NAIL. I said multiple times that it was burning and nothing was done. They just spoke in their language back and forth and then they proceeded to ask if I had sensitive skin... like no girl you're literally filing my skin off with the machine. Then to top it off, i got french tip so she needed to use acetone on every nail to shape the french tip and it was burning my already tender skin. I seriously wanted to walk out and leave but im not that type of customer. However, no compensation or even an apology was made. Will NOT be coming back here. Overpriced as well. stay away from this pm read more

I was looking for a new salon because my old salon sold to new owners. I tried a few spots before I landed at LV nails; safe to say I don't need to look any further! I have found my new salon. Bi did my dip manicure, and I am absolutely in LOVE! The shape is perfection. He really takes his time to make sure the nails look flawless, and he is kind. I received a deluxe pedi too, which also looks amazing. The lady who did my pedi (Lee I think) was gentle with her tools and hands, which I appreciate. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this salon and can't wait to see how long my nails last! Ps. Bring cash for tips. read more

From start to finish, this place was amazing! This was my first visit, and will NOT be my last. Bi was my nail tech, he took time to listen to the look I was trying to achieve, explained certain techniques and was all around a greatly skilled nail tech. The ambiance was very calming and immaculate. He finished my nails with a steamed hot towel which was amazing! They have every colored powder, polish and gel you can imagine, so beautifully laid out on display, that really allows you a better visual of pairing colors, it's not overwhelming like most nail places, it's inviting and fun! I can't wait to bring my daughter here for her Gel Manicure and Eyebrows next. So if you're in search of a real deal Nail Salon that doesn't try to upsell you during your visit, takes time to listen to your ideas, and has outstanding skill, you have to check LV Nails and Spa, in Los Alamitos. ( in the same lot as Katella Deli ). My nails are Ombré, Medium length, Coffin shape, for those who are interested. Have a great day! And thank you again Bi ! read more

Went 1 up and paid $38 for a pedicure that included a massage. The entire experience was nice, and I got in right away! But.. since the "rub" or "massage" lasted less than 3 minutes and it's not geared anywhere near muscle relaxation, I'll settle for the regular pedicure next time. read more

Such a gem! I live in Hollywood but work close by, and decided to get a mani/pedi 3 weeks ago after work. Tammy took care of me and suggested I do tip with dipping powder to help me grow out my short nails (had acrylics that messed up my nails). THANK YOU TAMMY! I went three weeks and my color was perfect the entire time, no chipping or lifting or weird yellow color (I got white). I just got my nails done today again, and she outdid her self again. Taking off the gel was a breeze and my nail-beds are long and heathy under. Yay! :) So happy she introduced dipping powder to me, I'm super happy and the colors are so nice! Everybody that works there is nice and do a good job. My pedicures have been great as well. I actually witnessed a "Karen" today who was complaining about her nails and even brought the nails that she cracked and popped off in a ziploc back (who does that??), so it sucks that they have people who try to get free work or discounts, but their work speaks for itself and I'm definitely a happy client! Even if I stop working close by, I'll make the drive from Hollywood for them! My nails have never last this long and looked so good! read more

New business owners, Bi & Vy, worked in a nail salon in Long Beach which is where I first met them. Bi used to do my acrylic nails and Vy... my pedicure. Last week they purchased an existing salon called Essence Nails and Spa which they changed the name to LV Nails and Spa. In the busy strip mall off Katella ave., you'll find LV Nail and Spa which offers roughly 12 spa chairs, a private room for waxing, facials, and threading, as well as clean restrooms. They specialize in nail art and design, acrylic nails, gel polish, and dip powder. Prices are modest and comparable to other salons, however the service and professionalism that both Vy and Bi provide set them apart from their competition. Even though LV nails and spa is a further drive from the previous salon I went to, it's worth it for me! Bi understands many different nail shapes, his work is clean and precise, and he is quick. I'm in and out within 30mins and my nails are perfect every time. Let's talk about the pedicure- The massage is the best part! She spends time massaging feet and legs after the pedicure. Her technique is so relaxing. My feet feel soft, energized, and look pretty when she's done. Walk-ins welcome Appointments preferred read more

I had an awful experience. Usually they put your nails under a light to dry them. As soon as they were done they told me to go so they weren't even dry. The got messed up right away obviously even tho I was super careful so I went back in and they are still messed up. I paid almost $100!! So much for trying a new place Update - the comment they made on my review. Instead of trying to help they are so rude and unprofessional. You can see all of the similar comments below on other reviews blaming customers and saying that they must've gone to another salon bc no way that would've happened there. I can't believe a business owner would actually respond like that?? How are they still in business!???? read more
