I've never walked out of a nail service before but it was completely warranted for this place. I walked in in the middle of the afternoon and wanted a gel manicure. There was no one in sight, and the owner came out of nowhere pushing a pedicure when i only wanted a gel manicure and re-dip. I got my dip powder underneath re-dipped but in the process there was clumps of dried dip all over the underneath of my nails. She also ripped off a perfectly good dip layer previously applied and tried to rip off the other ones. I asked her to please don't do that, i just want a re-dip. I noticed that 3 of my nails were uneven with the powder and asked if she could reshape them. She kept speaking outside of english and laughing. I let it roll of the back cause that's neither here nor there. I asked for a french tip on milky white nails - SUPER SIMPLE - or so I thought, and i even showed two images of what i wanted. She proceeds to ignore the pictures and say "I know i know" ..ok. She didn't know because after 3 attempts she still couldn't get it. I told her i didn't want anything else to be done to the nails and for the color to be taken off. In between filing which she filed WAYYY too short, was cutting into my skin on every nail and rounded the nail edges when i asked her not to because i said to her "I don't like the edges rounded" I got ignored yet again while being laughed at again. I can only tolerate so much before i get disrespected when im paying for a service. Picked up my belongings and left. I will never step foot into this pathetic excuse of a nail salon again. read more

I paid via Venmo, twice and wouldnt refund me. pedicure was medicore at best. The news was on tv at top volume. Not relaxing and the place needs an update. They used an orange to exfoliate which was strange and sticky. read more

Worst experience I think I've ever had. Don't want to be too harsh here but please just beware. Walked in because I was tanning in the same center and saw there was a nail Place and was planning to walk in at my regular place anyway. Salon was empty with 3 workers inside. They took me right away and started on my pedicure and started removing my acrylics because I just wanted a gel manicure and as soon as another customer walked in, the woman doing my finger nails stopped and went to start on her. Long story short the woman doing my pedicure was going to take over and start my gel manicure when she was done with my pedicure and I noticed this was happening as more customers started walking in and them getting sat to be serviced. I politely asked if that's what was happening and she said yes that's what they were going to do and I said I was so sorry, but I didn't have time for that and I was thinking I was getting the services done at the same time. She ripped my acrylics off without soaking them, which was incredibly painful and I finally spoke up and asked if we could soak them off while my pedicure was being done. Which she did. The woman doing my pedicure took one hour and 30 minutes to do just a pedicure. I appreciate that she was taking her time but at the same time, I was really stressed about how long it was taking especially knowing my hands weren't getting done. It was $80 including tip for a gel pedicure and for her to painfully remove my acrylics and I didn't get my finger nails done like I had wanted. It just was really disappointing. Had they been upfront from the very beginning letting me know that they had an appointment coming in and I wouldn't be able to get the services at the same time, I would have gladly went somewhere else and it would've been no problem at all. I'm just so tired of spending all of this money on places, like this one, getting dishonest and careless service. Communication would have prevented all of this. read more

My favorite nail spot in Long Beach!! Kim is the nicest and most attentive. Her dipping and gel work is amazing. I've left happy every time. Worth every penny read more

Do not come here, worst dip manicure I've ever had. First off, the lady quoted me one price prior to sitting down and then when I was done, she tried to charge me $15 more. It was a horrible job. They did not cut my cuticles and it was a manicure. She tried to remove the dip I had on my finger when I came in with cuticle scissors. Afterwards, my nails started to chip within two days, within five days, I had to go elsewhere to get my nails done again. Not only was this the worst manicure ever had, this is the only time I've ever had had a manicure without tipping. read more

DO NOT COME HERE !!!! She runined my experience on my BDAY!!!!! I wish I can get this place negative for -50 stars but I JUST can't . I came from New York over to LA for my birthday, this was the nearest nail salon, as I entered she comes and tells us to sit down and wait . She starts to file my nails but does a very sloppy job and forgets to do the side , I asked her twice to fix it however she didn't so I asked for a nail file to literally sit there and do it myself, as she began to sit there and do my boyfriends nails. Keep in mind I just had a conversation with her because she was friendly at first and I mentioned that it was my birthday and that we are out of town . She then proceeds to tell me I can do my nails myself and she had to do another client after she's done doing my boyfriends nails . Like wth? DO read more

Literally waited for an hour for the nail technician to take someone who came in after me, and disregard my appointment. One technician came over and even took off the nail polish on one of my acrylic nails. They said I just needed a fill, and then left. My mom and I have been coming here for awhile, and I even called to make an appointment for the both of us. I also waited very patiently until I was told the person after me would be taken first. So frustrating and inconsiderate. I would recommend just walking in because making an appointment is pointless. Highlight- my mom got her pedicure and it made her extremely happy. I probably won't be back, but it's close enough for my mom to pop in for a monthly pedi for relaxation. Just fair warning read more

Stopped in to get gel mani. Greeted and taken in right away. Lance did my French tips. She's very thorough and does a clean job. She's very soft with her hands. Nancy added the design on both ring fingers. Wanted to add a little Halloween touch for the season. She did a superb job with the web design. The salon is very clean with extremely pleasant staff. I highly recommend coming here for a relaxing spa day. There's plenty of parking in the mini mall. Enjoy! read more

Just moved into the area and they do such a great job especially since it's not that busy. Support small businesses ! Yes they speak Vietnamese to one another but English is their second Language. Does not mean they are talking about you. You ain't that special. Haha jk but really they have such reasonable prices for the work they do. The bad reviews on here must of been from when they were busy because cannot relate. Give them a try and you be the judge ! read more

Love the ladies here. Best prices in the 90808. Plus they are friendly and always take their time to do a meticulous job.

Issues with my gel nail dip twice. Owner apologized and fixed twice, no questions asked. I appreciate that. Her prices are reasonable. My daughter and I have gone to her for a couple years now. read more

Love coming here. Very good nail techs, friendly service, no up selling (which I hate!) and they do a great hot wax mani/pedi. If you're looking for fancy nail design, unfortunately, this is not the place for you. read more

Yesterday Monday July 27, I took an Uber to the nail Salon and the Uber cost me $20 I took it hoping to do my nails and then get picked up an hour later when my ride was going to pick me up but since they were closed I had to get another Uber home that cost me $25 because I had to change shoes since my toes were not done. This is not a place to trust with closing . If you are going to go call before or something they don't follow their schedule . read more

Went in on Sept. 20,2012 weekday. I really had no problem with the girl the did my pedicure, But I got my lip waxed and she ripped off a big chunk of my skin. I've been praying all weekend that I dont get an infection. And she never checked to see the area of hair she missed. While I was getting my pedicure a lady walked in and asked if they would turn on the a/c.( I had no problem with that due to it was about 90 outside and inside). Then they went to sit her and she found lots of nail clippings on the chair and she declined having service done. She walked out. Good for her. Then they did nothing but talk about her after she left. I wont go back. read more

Never again. I went in for a manicure at 3:30 on a weekday and should have known better when I saw that the place was empty. The ladies were all eating at one of the tables. I understand the need to snack, but the girl didn't wash her hands before touching mine. Then, she proceeded to cut me twice and cough, without covering her mouth or turning her head, right onto my hands. I actually felt the burst of air come from her mouth. Gross! On top of that, the massage sucked. I'm sorry, but for $11, you should probably not leave gobs of lotion on my arm when you didn't start with that much to begin with. The hot towel was a joke. Hot yes, but she didn't even wipe the lotion off that she never rubbed in. Normally, when you tell someone it is your first time at their business, they go out of their way to make you want to come back. Not here, no way. read more

I came here for the eye lash extension the other day since my lady went on vacation. I want it so bad that I couldn't wait. Vi did a great job, the best part was I was able open my eyes right away without having the air dryer drying my lash before...I hope that was normal. Anyways, I hesitated going to this place at first Bc they got some many bad reviews but I listen to my sister and gave it a try...I didn't regret it :-) woohoo... read more

So as I'm havin her fix them she decides to just start giving me a whole new gel manicure when I just wanted her to fix the two nails ..... And decides for herself that I didn't want to keep my matte nails.....cuts my nails shorter than what I wanted and uneven from the others.... When all I wanted was to have my TWO nails fixed seriously livid And might I add... She asked to do my eyebrows and I say no thank you.. And she says" are you sure ? They're really bad" Yess I know they're bad I'm getting them done after I get the hell out of here.... And she keeps insisting when j say I get them treaded NO THANK YOU..... I'm a repeat customer for years. The staff care about the customer's comfort and are very patient. They are very skilled in what they do and do a really good job of catering to a customer's request. Highly recommended place for that quiet relaxation and pampering every woman needs. read more

Very understaffed. Only 2 people working. Came in with my grandma with appointment. Get seated for pedicure, someone else comes in and the owner leaves me sitting for 20 mins while she starts prepping the other person that comes in after us with NO APPOINTMENT. I am very satisfied with how I was treated, my experience, and the overall outcome of my nails. My pedicurist took her sweet time massaging my legs and detailing my toes - loved it! DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU LOVE SH*TTY NAILS DONE. I walk in and 4 people are working and the place is COMPLETELY EMPTY. Bad sign, but I digress. An uppity guy sits me in a chair for my fill..... that's when the insults started. "Why you have pointy nails? You should get square--- it's young and classy" "I guess I'll be old then" I responded. How he was setting everything up (files, etc) took atleast 4 minutes and seemed like he wasn't even certified & someone just taught him. Then he sends another insult, but this one pissed me off. "Do you want your eyebrows done?" "No thanks, I'm fine" "You need it! You really should" he blurted loudly. Are you f*cking kidding me? Telling a paying customer that they need an unnecessary service done after I nicely decline (it was 9:30AM in the f*cking morning, I'm not going to have makeup on) and insulting them afterwards????!! What's even MORE funny is that one of the BAD reviews on Yelp for this place is on a hack job for WAXING. I simply shut my mouth afterwards and just turn to watch tv. I look 5 minutes later and hes only on my 2nd finger with filing by my cuticles which NEVER takes that long---(which he even forgot to chip off all my lifting acrylic FIRST). At this point, I think to myself: Either grit my teeth and be pissed afterwards with the inevitable sh*tty nail job he's about to do and pay for it OR get up and leave before he goes any further. "It's okay, I'm going to go to my nail lady, this is going to take too long" "OH! I CAN GO FASTER?! I GO FASTER!" he says frazzled. Yeah, so you can do an even MORE sh*tty/half-assed job???!?!? "No, it's okay. I'm just going to leave" At this point, I had to tell him TWO TIMES to let me go since he wasn't letting go of my finger. He finally lets go and starts laughing & talking vietnamese to another lady that was there. Really classy and immature. Like that's going to bring repeat customers. I'm sooo HAPPY I left. You guys don't deserve anyone's hard earned money and by the ways things are looking you guys won't be there for long. read more

Hate this place. 1. They constantly speak to each other in other than English and I'm sure they are speaking about the customers 2. They absolutely won't take no for an answer about pushing their extra services: more massage, hot oil for your hands and on and on. So annoying. 3. They don't do a good job on your nails. read more

Believe the bad reviews. I got my nails done here a few days ago and it was an awful experience. I didn't go to my normal place because it was so busy and I was close to the nail club. I thought, how bad could it be? Awful, it took forever, the manicurist's nails didn't seem clean, and she gave me the weirdest/worst hand and arm massage. I almost walked out after that. Save you money and don't go here. There are much better places for a cheaper price. read more

Absolutely horrible experience. They removed my gel manicure by scratching it off with their nails. Instead of buffing them at the end of the treatment they told me to go wash my hands in the dirty sink in the corner. It was incredibly awkward, disturbing, and made me want to cry. Never again. read more

I really loved loved loved this place when Helen was there. She did just an amazing job on mani/pedis. She took her time and made a special effort to pay attention to detail. I made an appointment on my birthday in July and was told that Helen was off for the day. Went anyway because I wanted to treat myself & learned she had been let go from the salon. The nail tech that did my mani/pedi gave me an infection on my toe. I don't know if she cut too deep in my skin or if her tools were dirty but I have not been back since. It's hard to find good people & its too bad when they get let go. Miss you Helen!!! read more

DO NOT GET YOUR EYEBROWS DONE HERE. They are absolutely terrible. They do NOT listen to what you want to be done and will leave your eyebrows looking terrible! I went in and asked for a clean up of my eyebrows as they had gotten a bit out of control, and asked them to be left thick. The next thing I know she hands me a mirror and my eyebrows look like twigs as the owner proceeded to try and convince me she left them thick! In 5-7weeks when my eyebrows do grow back in will definitely not be going back to them. read more

Went here for a pedicure and was told "10 minutes"....I sat in the spa chair for 45 minutes until they could get to me. My friends and I used to come here very often back then because they always did a good job on our nails especially Helen. However their business started to go downward with the new owner. Bad quality as well as customer service. The new owner really got on our nerves. She kept talking shit about customers, nagging her staffs, etc and thought that we did not understand Vietnamese. We called to make appointments but she didn't put it down so we gotta wait so long to have our nails done. We definitely not gonna come back there anymore. read more

I went in for a gel manicure and it looks good. The technician was very nice if just a bit on the slow side. My only complaint is that after she soaked my nails in remover, she used cuticle clippers to scrap off my old gel. I felt like she was scraping my nails off and personally like when they use the wooden dowels. On the flip side, she did give me extra top coat because she noticed that nails chip quickly. This place is a standard nail salon as far as service and price. Also, they have a lot of painted nail designs. I would return when I need something basic, local and inexpensive. read more
