She suggested Gel X and took the time to explain the whole process, including how fills work. Honestly, I really appreciated that because I didn't know much about Gel X going in! It was my first time getting Gel X, and Mimi did an amazing job! I showed her an inspo picture, and she totally made it happen. The whole appointment took about 2 hours, but the attention to detail was worth it. For pricing, the Gel X was $60, plus $30 for the nail art/design, so I paid around $90 before tip. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing, and overall it felt like a great little birthday treat. I'm definitely coming back for a fill and already know I'll be getting Gel X again. I'm really disappointed with my recent experience. Two days ago, I came in to get my toes done and brought my daughter for both toes and nails. I had a chipped toenail that I paid an extra $5 to have repaired, but it cracked again the very next day. I called the shop and spoke with a gentleman who was very kind and told me to come in and they would fix it--no problem. I came in at 9 AM before work, expecting a quick repair. Instead, I was met with a completely different experience. The technician made me feel uncomfortable from the start, as if I had done something wrong. Even after showing my receipt, I was asked to wait while she and her coworkers sat and ate. After waiting, she told me it would be another 10 minutes. I explained I had to get to work and that I had already paid full price and tipped $10 just two days prior--I simply needed the repair done. When she finally helped me, the fix felt rushed and careless. She layered on a thick amount of gel, tapped it briefly with a file, and said "OK" without any real care or attention. This was my third time visiting, and unfortunately it will be my last. The lack of professionalism and basic customer service is disappointing. All the nail techs are very friendly and knowledgeable helpful from the moment you walk in to the end of your service. I appreciate how they give you a total before starting your nails. We had some time to kill while waiting for the little pup to get groomed. A couple doors down in the strip mall was this nail shop. Decent size parking lot out front and next door to two different coffee shop and juice shop. Right when we walked in, the gentleman was very sweet and friendly. Not sure if he was one of the nail tech or the manager in charge. Very friendly and welcoming. We wanted to check the menu before getting anything done as it was our first time here. If you know, we all tend to stick to our regulars with nails and any other services so trying something new was a little of a challenge. Decided to go for it and gave it a try. You start with checking in on the iPad at the front of the door. There's a little waiting area with a good amount of seating and where a good amount of the nail polish are housed. It was a few minutes till we were called. We both just wanted a pedicure and went with the spa pedicure. That came with all the trimmings of cut, file, clean, scrub and included an 8 minute foot massage with a misting machine. The two ladies that were taking care of us were sweet. Friendly and very detailed and professional. Before the service, they handed us the menu again to make sure we were getting the correct service. And during each service they would informed us what they were doing. Plus before the foot and leg massage, they showed us the timer so we can see it. The service was great and experience was excellent. It was quite busy which a lot seemed to be regulars that were visiting. All the ladies were very sweet and the place didn't feel stuffy one bit. Very clean and well organized. One side was where all the spa pedicure takes place. Everything was covered and cleaned before the service. The opposite side was where all the manicure tables are placed. Tables were next to each for the cohesive vibe. Behind them a massive wall of more polishes. Also there was a television which was great if you wanted to watch tv while your service. I believe they also had a waxing room in the back. Price wise for the spa pedicure service was 45.00 for everything. If you wanted French polish that was additional fee. Credit or cash payment accepted but if you pay cash, it was a little discount which was nice. The service was great. Friendly staff and well cleaned salon. Everyone was great and professional. A nice place and great experience for us. If we're in town again and need something done, we'll for sure be back. read more

I wanted to like this salon because the service itself was fine, but I won't be returning because of the payment policy. I was charged an additional $2.65 simply for paying with my debit card, and I don't think customers should have to pay extra just to use a debit card. Fees like this leave a bad impression and make the overall experience feel less customer-friendly. I understand that businesses have operating costs, but I believe those costs should already be reflected in the pricing rather than added as a surprise at checkout. Today was my second visit to this salon. My first experience was positive, but unfortunately this visit was not. The nail technician was pleasant and applied the polish neatly, but I was disappointed with the final result. I chose a cat eye polish, and when I asked why the effect wasn't symmetrical on my big toes, the woman at the front desk looked at my toes and told me that the cat eye effect generally works better on fingernails than toenails and that sometimes it doesn't look the way you want it to. While I understand that the effect may be more pronounced on fingernails, I've had this same type of polish applied to my toes before (at this salon) with a symmetrical, well-defined result. I was hoping my concern would be acknowledged rather than dismissed. It also left me with the impression that my technician may not have been very experienced with this particular polish, especially since she initially showed me cat eye color options that weren't available for pedicures. When I went to pay, the credit card terminal only displayed the cost of my pedicure and the tip I selected for my nail technician. There was no indication that an additional credit card processing fee would be added, until the final total appeared with an extra $4. I don't appreciate unexpected charges, and I believe customers should be informed of any fees before they pay. I don't get my nails done very often, so this was a significant expense for me. Money is tight right now, and even an unexpected $4 makes a difference. Unfortunately, because of how my concerns were handled and the lack of transparency regarding the additional fee, I won't be returning to this salon. read more

I've been coming to Nails BB for years and have spent a lot of money here over that time, which is why I'm so disappointed by my experience today. I called and scheduled a 3:30 PM appointment for a hard gel fill. I normally see Tiffany, but she was off, so I was seated with Lisa. At the beginning of my appointment, Lisa asked what I wanted, and I showed her photos of a French manicure with chrome and two flowers on my ring fingers for my birthday. She looked at the photos, agreed to the design, and even took screenshots of the inspiration pictures. After completing my fill, I was asked to wash my hands. When I returned, the receptionist approached me and loudly told me that when I made the appointment, I had only booked a fill. I explained that was correct, but I wanted to add two flowers because it was my birthday. I was then told that Lisa could not do the flowers because the salon was busy and it would push back her next client. The only option I was given was French tips and chrome. What upset me was not being told "no" from the start. If there wasn't enough time for the design, that should have been communicated when I first showed the photos..not after Lisa had already agreed to it and after I had already sat through most of the appointment. I even asked if I could still add just the two flowers, and was told no. As a longtime customer, I felt embarrassed and dismissed. The conversation happened in front of other clients, and I felt like I was being treated as though I had done something wrong by asking for a very small addition to my service. It was my birthday, and I was simply hoping to add two flowers to a design that had already been approved by the technician. I still tipped Lisa because I'm not the kind of person that leaves a service without tipping. My disappointment is with how the situation was handled. Loyalty should count for something, and after years of supporting this salon, I left feeling like accommodating a longtime customer for two small flowers wasn't worth the effort. I've always enjoyed coming here because of the work of Tiffany and the friendly male owner is always accommodating my work schedule as a flight attendant...which makes this experience even more disappointing. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because better communication and customer service could have completely changed the outcome of this visit. read more

I have probably come here about 5 times and have had different nails techs every time and I have been happy with my nails every single time. Most recently, I had Jolene as my nail tech and got V-day nails with a light pink base with little red hearts as my design. I think this place is the most reliable as well as reasonably priced. A gel manicure is $30 - with a design being an extra $10. I've been coming here for a couple of years now, and not once have I had a bad experience. The staff has always been friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. What I appreciate most is how transparent they are about pricing they always make sure you know if there are any extra charges before starting a service. Today, though, I witnessed something that really stood out and I was actually sitting right next to the customer the entire time. A girl came in and started complaining about the cost after her nails had already been started. From the beginning, her tone felt rude and dismissive. When the manager came over to help, she tried to calmly explain the pricing, but the customer kept interrupting and responding with a passive-aggressive attitude. At one point, she even told the manager to lower her voice in a disrespectful way, despite the manager remaining professional the entire time. To make things more uncomfortable, her boyfriend started adding his opinion, even though he had nothing to do with the service. Instead of helping de-escalate the situation, he made it worse by defending his girlfriend, even though she was clearly in the wrong. It would have been more appropriate to let the customer and the person in charge handle the situation directly. Another manager stepped in and patiently pulled up her past transactions to clearly show what had been charged before. They explained that sometimes removal fees are waived, but it's never guaranteed and they always communicate that upfront, which is something I've personally experienced and appreciated. Even after being shown proof, the customer continued to be upset and dismissive, saying things like, "Whatever, just finish my nails. I'll pay, but I'm never coming back." After all that I understand why staff didn't want to service her anymore. She left the place with nails on and she still didn't pay. The staff handled everything with patience and professionalism, even when faced with unnecessary rudeness. read more

I was in desperate need of a pedicure and chose this place simply because it was the closest to me. I wasn't looking for anything fancy, just a classic pedicure with polish. Once seated, I chose my polish color. For $30, I wasn't expecting a luxury service, but I did expect a basic level of attention to detail, service and cleanliness. While the nail tools (clipper, cuticle pusher, and nippers) appeared sanitized, I was uncomfortable with how the callus scrubber was handled. The technician pulled it from a random spot in his cart, used it on my feet, then rinsed it in the same bowl my feet had been/ currently still soaking in before placing it back in the cart. It didn't seem hygienic and made me question the cleanliness of the rest of their tools and procedures. As for the pedicure itself, the sanitized tools were barely used. My nails weren't clipped, and It felt like barely any buffing or filing was done at all. the noticeable chip on one of my toes was still there exactly as it was when I walked in. The foot massage was a nice touch, but unfortunately, the polish application was disappointing. No top coat, uneven layers, and it already looks like it'll chip within a day. I don't usually feel this picky about my pedicures, which is why I can confidently say I'm genuinely unhappy with the result. Although I really love the color and the technician was polite, the overall experience felt rushed, like he just wanted to finish and be done for the day. I'm now planning to go elsewhere just to get my toes fixed. UPDATE: ONE STAR TO THREE STARS I came back in today after they reached out, eager to make things right. I brought my little sister with me for a promised "girls day" and decided to return to the same salon, she got her nails done while they fixed mine. The experience this time was a solid 10/10! They upgraded my service, and my sister's nails turned out amazing. They worked quickly and still delivered quality work. The attention to detail was great! Everything looked neat, and well-done. She really took her time shaping and cleaning everything up. This time, it genuinely looks like I had a proper pedicure, and my cuticles were actually trimmed, Beautiful work! Everyone was super kind, and you can tell they truly care about their business and customer satisfaction. Many places wouldn't go out of their way to make things right like this. The nail service is okay. I always tip service workers but the actual nail tech had a very negative attitude for absolutely no reason. I politely asked her to be careful as she scratched me twice with the drill while doing my manicure. She huffed and did not acknowledge me. She appeared irritated throughout the entire thing although she didn't speak to me other than when she asked me what color I wanted on my nails. The pedicure "massage" was just her putting lotion on legs and rubbing that in and randomly touching my toes. I will not return. read more
