I've gotten my nails done at Glossy Nails twice now--my first time I got builder gel, and the second time I tried Gel-X. Both sets lasted really well, and I've been so happy with how they turned out! The staff is always super nice and accommodating. I really appreciate that they try their best to squeeze me in or find a same-day appointment whenever they have availability. I usually come in with a specific design in mind, and they always do their best to recreate it. My nails always turn out so cute, and I leave happy every time. Definitely recommend Glossy Nails!

Brand new ownership and a completely different place. Ya'll, This place is the best! We finally have the cleanest nail salon on 2nd street! I finally found a neighborhood nail salon I want to come back to. You gotta come here. The new owners have completely redone this place. It's modern, cute, clean, comfortable and friendly. Brand new massage chairs. Benson, Nicole, and Anna are so sweet and fun. My nails look amazing. I cannot say enough good things.

I went to 2nd Street for breakfast with a friend and stop by the shop by chance. I asked if we had time to fit me in and I was seated immediately. They recommended the best nail technique (acrylic and gel finish) to protect my nail and colors to keep a natural finish. Benson, the nail technician was so thoughtful and knowledgeable. I enjoyed the experience and I would absolutely come back. I recommend this place for anyone as they are under new management and you will enjoy your experience too.

Edit: A couple hours later and my toe nail polish is coming off completely... I think it's because they used gel polish without UV curing it (I didn't ask for gel). I don't know why they do this. Waste of money/time. These ladies are really nice... I really appreciated they were open on a holiday and accommodated me without an appointment. The scrubbing/callous removal treatment part was great, my feet were in bad shape and she really did a good job cleaning them up. However i'm really disappointed in how poor the paint job is. The brushing technique is just bad, the photos don't even show just how bad. It's rough, patchy, streaky etc. I had her try to fix one nail but there wasn't much point in fixing the whole thing when it was clear she doesn't have the proper skill. I'm too shy to push back harder or cause a fuss. I still tipped generously and thanked her for her work. But I can't say I'll come back.

My nails look fabulous and I enjoyed the salon from a visual perspective. Nice, clean and decorated well. I had good interactions with both of my nail technicians. This is one of those places that you should actually do a personal field trip to. It will change your life. Believe it. Highly, highly recommended! Let's get real, ever since a bunch of pharmacies shut down (like rite aid) Every CVS and Walgreens…read moreis having to over compensate Since I have chronic pain / repeated procedures / surgeries, it's safe to say this place is my second home lol I've dealt with Tracy a couple times, including inside the Pharmacy (not just the drive thru pickup) after one of my past surgeries a few months ago, She saw me doubled over in pain while trying to get my medication after a bladder surgery that was extremely painful. I kept getting texts saying my medication was ready, but everytime I called to double check, it was not. When I showed up she got me my medication within less than 30 minutes and was on top of it. (And she kept telling me to sit down and asking if I was ok) I'm extremely understanding that these places are overwhelmed. I've dealt with a really rude male pharmacist here, but Tracy has literally been a lifesaver Recently, I had called ahead of time to see what I needed for an early release (2 days early for a medication that is highly controlled due to me not being able to pick it up on the scheduled day) she told me exactly what to request from my doctor. (Which, I got ahold of my doctors office and told them) My doctor put in for my medication, but unfortunately, they did not put what Tracy needed them to put. It was night time and my doctors office was already closed. Tracy told me not to worry at all and that she would call them in the morning and get it taken care of for me. I honestly did not think much of it. I was fully prepared to call my doctors office / having to deal with it all on my own. Yet, I got a text saying my medication was ready in the morning. Tracy even called me personally (not just the automated generic voice message system they leave saying to come get your medication) Tracy called and told me that she had been calling my doctors office as soon as they opened and she had everything taken care of for me. It honestly made me cry. While dealing with so much such as a surgery and trying to get everything taken care of, it meant so much to me that she took care of everything for me and did not make a fuss about it. She literally went above and beyond and I'm extremely thankful that she not only does her job, but is extremely sympathetic and helpful. So far I've purchased reusable makeup remover pads, a reusable sponge, reusable produce bags, body soap with a pouch, body oil, deodorant, toner, makeup remover, face wash, a candle, sunscreen, and shampoo and conditioner bars. The best part? I get to refill the containers instead of throwing them away. How amazing is that? Christy and Catherine are so friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. Christy, the owner, is amazing and I could talk about sustainability with her for hours. I've been searching for a company like this and I can't wait to go back and stock up on even more products.

I had the best experience with Glossy Nails and Lashes, all thanks to Anna! She is seriously amazing at what she does. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel comfortable and really listened to what I wanted. She pays so much attention to detail, and you can tell she genuinely cares about her work. My nails came out PERFECT, clean, shaped beautifully, and exactly the design I asked for (honestly even better). Everything was super hygienic and professional, and the whole appointment felt relaxing instead of rushed. Anna is also just the sweetest person, which makes the whole experience even better. Absolutely loved my experience here! My name is Olivia and I was there today coming from SD. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and they really took their time with my nails instead of rushing. I had such a great experience at this nail salon under the new management! The customer service was amazing from the moment I walked in -- everyone was so friendly, attentive, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The best part was the added hand done nail art by Linda herself. She carefully created two tropical flowers on each hand reminiscent of 90s nail art. She told me that it was not possible for them to do a french tip without gel, I was trying to explain that the last time I was here, THEY DID. But she was cutting me off and shushing me and just telling me to get the gel. As I was refusing service, the lady I was talking to told the other lady to keep working on my feet. It was a struggle to get out. They were not listening to what I was trying to say, they ignored me when I clearly asked for something else, and they made me feel bad because they were so clearly frustrated with me and continuously pressured me throughout our interaction. So whatever, I said I would pay for what they did. Soaked my feet and cut one set of nails. When I was paying them, they explained that the lady that used to do french with regular polish was no longer there. Well good for her! I used to come here when it first opened, it USED to be really good. Now they are way too money hungry, pressuring you to get gel and upgrades and ignoring when you clearly refuse.

I have nail psoriasis and it's always been an insecurity of mine, and she was able to give me a gentle gel manicure that protected my natural nails, looked flawless, and gave me and my skin the comfort I needed. She was extremely kind, gentle and so patient with me. I came back two weeks later to come get a dry gel pedicure by Cindy. She was also so sweet. I get really insecure about my natural nails because of my nail psoriasis and other nail shops turn me down, or make me feel bad for having a nail condition that I can't control. This place doesn't. The morning of our appointment, I received a text that one of our appointments had been canceled without explanation. My 4yo daughter's service had some confusion (I had only approved a pedicure and had to clarify multiple times that we were not adding a manicure). My friend and daughter began their services, while I waited with my feet in the bath. After someone started removing my polish, she left multiple times to help other customers without any communication. She eventually told me she had another client and that someone else would finish my pedicure. No one ever came. Other customers recognized what was happening and were chiming in as well. The owner eventually asked if I had been helped. I explained what happened, and she made a bunch of excuses, then apologized and said she would find someone to take care of me, but again, no one came. I ultimately left without receiving my pedicure. While checking out after my daughter's pedicure was finished (which they comped and which I appreciated) it ultimately did not address the overall experience - my friend was left there to finish her 90 min service alone while my daughter and I found something else to do during that time. I completely understand that busy days and unexpected issues happen. My disappointment was not the delay, it was feeling forgotten and having no one take ownership of the situation. Time is valuable, and I had planned this day as a special outing with my daughter and friend. I left disappointed because the situation could have been handled so differently with simple communication and care.
