The products are cheap. I got my nails done last week and four of them have popped off. Only one of them broke the other three completely came off. I don't have a lot of money to be getting my nails done. It's a luxury for me. It's a treat to treat myself and I feel bad. I don't have any money to get my nails done again. Anne is a friendly and sweet manicurist. She is up to the challenge of trying designs she hasn't necessarily done before. She has room to grow in her artistry, but does a decent job with nail art. The first time I tried Gel X was here, and I was irritated by the excess glue under the nail that I felt for a long time before my fill. I like that the salon is usually pretty quiet. It makes the visit peaceful. I do dislike having to pay in cash or with Zelle. I don't have an account that comes with Zelle, and I have to use the app which rarely loads properly, making it awkward trying to pay this way. In those events, I ended up using Venmo, which they accept, but don't prefer. I really would appreciate the simplicity of paying with card. Lava is slightly more affordable than higher-end places, and you get what you pay for. They also have a punch card. read more

I stopped by this place on my way back from yoga class. I got the Royal Pedicure with Candy. She was very attentive and did a great job on my toes. She also have a fantastic massage. Don and Ann are so talented!! Don did the beautiful ombre and Ann was very detailed and meticulous with the flower design on my nails and they came out beautifully. Everyone in the salon is so welcoming and engaging, they were able to take my appointment the same day as well. Once they started doing my nails, I never felt like they were rushed or dismissive of me at all. They really take their time to make sure their art comes out exactly right. Another talented lady (sorry, didn't catch her name) did a pedicure on me and she used the smallest brush to make sure every bit of my toenail was colored. I've never seen that before but I really appreciated it. They are warm, profesional and very clean. The salon is spotless, equipment is new, pedicure chairs look brand new and massage you, there is plenty of parking and the prices are great. They have promotions and specials, just call and ask. Don's work is gentle, efficient, and consistent! The prices here are really reasonable. They took me in almost immediately on a Friday morning. I had beat up nails from my previous gel w/ tip that had broken off the night before, so I was desperate. Not only are their prices amazing, but they took SUCH good care of me! I had Kim, and she was constantly checking if the work was what I liked throughout the WHOLE process. I personally favor a thinner nail (closer to a natural thickness) and it's the first salon that's done that for me! I've also have never experienced such precise lines and a clean nail look before! Genuinely 100/10. I got a gel fill, with nude base gel dip powder, a gel green French tip, and 2 extra tips on 2 nails that broke short. *I'm trying to build up my natural nail length so disregard the different lengths lol* I spent a total of $50 WITH all the extra requests! She listened carefully to my design idea and made sure she understood exactly what I wanted, and she walked me through the pricing before she went ahead with the work. She had amazing attention to detail when it came to the design. She worked carefully on the shape, cleaned up any extra color on my skin between every layer, and even had suggestions for adding to the design (she suggested the rhinestone detail). Price was a very reasonable $75. Granted there was a holiday deal, but sounds like it saved $15 or so. read more

I've been coming here for a while now for pedicures and lashes. Let me just say that Rachel is amazing at what she does with her lash technique. I always leave feeling beautiful. She genuinely cares for her clients. I feel as if we're friends at this point although I'm her client. i never leave bad reviews but unfortunately the pictures do not reflect their work. i drove 30 minutes to this salon based off the great reviews they had (my area isn't the best) but was disappointed with the service. i showed a reference picture to the manager and nail tech and still did not receive what i asked for. the nail tech also tried doing my nails shorter and was a bit defensive that i wasn't satisfied with the length. i also offered to pay more than the price the manager gave me if it meant i can get the length i wanted (they're still shorter than what i asked for and different lengths). i also got a gel pedicure and asked for black french tip and ended up having to do pure black because the tips were sloppy and every toe looked different. i came here for my graduation nails and i'm so disappointed with my nails and now have to find time to get them fixed with an already very busy schedule. the ladies and manager are friendly and accommodated to a last minute appointment but it's unfortunate i had to pay for something that i have to fix or remove. read more
