worst place ever. i asked for a clean up and the lady waxes a chunk off, proceeds to try covering it with a pencil. never tells me she messed up. shows me very quickly im the mirror. still charges me. it wasnt until i got to my car and wiped off the pencil that i notice so i had to go in and get my money back. thank the lord im seeking therapy cuz this was not okay. im making sure everyone in my network never even considers this place read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE. THEY WILL CUT YOUR CUTICLES TILL YOU BLEED AND THEN BLAME YOU. I literally said "ouch" and my finger was bleeding and she said oh no no that's your fault. Then she made me pay before even painting my nails but not other customers n said because I'm new but the other lady kept saying she remembered me. Sooooo which one is it? The products are cheap. I got my nails done last week and four of them have popped off. Only one of them broke the other three completely came off. I don't have a lot of money to be getting my nails done. It's a luxury for me. It's a treat to treat myself and I feel bad. I don't have any money to get my nails done again. Amazing quality nails!! I went here for the first time and got an acrylic fill with ombré and a pedicure (plus I had two broken nails) and the outcome especially on my fill was amazing. You can't even tell that two of my nails were completely redone! Even filling in over someone else's work it turned out so beautiful. My pedicure was also amazing, I've never gotten so much detail on a pedicure before. It was very chill and the place was very nice. Everyone was so friendly! YES! Clean, they take their time and they're all very nice. I got a pedi with Vicky and I loved it. They have different options for pedicures and manis. My full set was a different tech and he did amazing! Listened to what I wanted and did an amazing job going off a reference photo I showed him. Anne is a friendly and sweet manicurist. She is up to the challenge of trying designs she hasn't necessarily done before. She has room to grow in her artistry, but does a decent job with nail art. The first time I tried Gel X was here, and I was irritated by the excess glue under the nail that I felt for a long time before my fill. I like that the salon is usually pretty quiet. It makes the visit peaceful. I do dislike having to pay in cash or with Zelle. I don't have an account that comes with Zelle, and I have to use the app which rarely loads properly, making it awkward trying to pay this way. In those events, I ended up using Venmo, which they accept, but don't prefer. I really would appreciate the simplicity of paying with card. Lava is slightly more affordable than higher-end places, and you get what you pay for. They also have a punch card. read more

I stopped by this place on my way back from yoga class. I got the Royal Pedicure with Candy. She was very attentive and did a great job on my toes. She also have a fantastic massage. Don and Ann are so talented!! Don did the beautiful ombre and Ann was very detailed and meticulous with the flower design on my nails and they came out beautifully. Everyone in the salon is so welcoming and engaging, they were able to take my appointment the same day as well. Once they started doing my nails, I never felt like they were rushed or dismissive of me at all. They really take their time to make sure their art comes out exactly right. Another talented lady (sorry, didn't catch her name) did a pedicure on me and she used the smallest brush to make sure every bit of my toenail was colored. I've never seen that before but I really appreciated it. They are warm, profesional and very clean. The salon is spotless, equipment is new, pedicure chairs look brand new and massage you, there is plenty of parking and the prices are great. They have promotions and specials, just call and ask. I've come to see Don for an acrylic set a few times and he's amazing! I moved to LB a year ago and it takes a lot for me to trust someone new to do my nails the way I want them. Don's work is gentle, efficient, and consistent! The prices here are really reasonable. He always writes out an itemized receipt after every appointment, so you can see that you're being charged appropriately. Very reasonably priced! He's also great at designs! :) Book with Don! I've come here twice already, despite being nervous about the few reviews. The first time I came, I got a gel manicure, and this time I got acrylics and a gel pedicure. Both times, I felt so comfortable and taken care of. Everyone is so attentive, mindful, and their attention to detail is very impressive (and obvious in the fact that it took 2.5 hours to finish). I usually get my nails done near my parents house and haven't strayed far due to other mediocre nail salon experiences. But! I'm new in LB and this place had such good reviews I thought why not! They took me in almost immediately on a Friday morning. I had beat up nails from my previous gel w/ tip that had broken off the night before, so I was desperate. Not only are their prices amazing, but they took SUCH good care of me! I had Kim, and she was constantly checking if the work was what I liked throughout the WHOLE process. I personally favor a thinner nail (closer to a natural thickness) and it's the first salon that's done that for me! I've also have never experienced such precise lines and a clean nail look before! Genuinely 100/10. I got a gel fill, with nude base gel dip powder, a gel green French tip, and 2 extra tips on 2 nails that broke short. *I'm trying to build up my natural nail length so disregard the different lengths lol* I spent a total of $50 WITH all the extra requests! I know they look simple, but my favorite nails I've ever gotten! You'll be seeing me consistently for sure! Thank you so much! read more

Ann was fantastic! I will definitely be back. She listened carefully to my design idea and made sure she understood exactly what I wanted, and she walked me through the pricing before she went ahead with the work. She had amazing attention to detail when it came to the design. She worked carefully on the shape, cleaned up any extra color on my skin between every layer, and even had suggestions for adding to the design (she suggested the rhinestone detail). Price was a very reasonable $75. Granted there was a holiday deal, but sounds like it saved $15 or so. read more

I've been coming here for a while now for pedicures and lashes. Let me just say that Rachel is amazing at what she does with her lash technique. I always leave feeling beautiful. She genuinely cares for her clients. I feel as if we're friends at this point although I'm her client. The eyelashes are light, they last, they don't itch and most importantly, the glue doesn't burn my eyes. I get compliments allllll the time. I 100% recommended getting your eyelashes done there. I waited a few more minutes, and still no one came to assist. After repeatedly waiting without help, I raised my voice simply to get someone's attention. Instead of receiving assistance, I was asked to leave the store--despite the fact that there were no cashiers available and no help provided. The store felt like it was running unattended. I have video footage showing how empty the registers were during this time. I do not recommend this Walgreens due to lack of customer service and poor management. I will be contacting corporate to report this experience.

But they are pricier than the other products. I don't care at all. I LOVE the scent. As a matter of fact, I'm going in this weekend for some more of the hand soap. I have it in my bathroom (foaming pump) and my kitchen (regular hand soap pump). I also diluted it to use as a shower gel. YES, doggone it!!! I'm kinda addicted! This is one of those places that you should actually do a personal field trip to. It will change your life. Believe it. Highly, highly recommended! UPDATE: I went back in for more hand soap concentrate and some retinol serum. By the way, soap and lotion brand name is "Further". Alyssa assisted me and she is an absolute DOLL. I kept getting texts saying my medication was ready, but everytime I called to double check, it was not. When I showed up she got me my medication within less than 30 minutes and was on top of it. (And she kept telling me to sit down and asking if I was ok) I'm extremely understanding that these places are overwhelmed. I've dealt with a really rude male pharmacist here, but Tracy has literally been a lifesaver Recently, I had called ahead of time to see what I needed for an early release (2 days early for a medication that is highly controlled due to me not being able to pick it up on the scheduled day) she told me exactly what to request from my doctor. (Which, I got ahold of my doctors office and told them) My doctor put in for my medication, but unfortunately, they did not put what Tracy needed them to put. It was night time and my doctors office was already closed. Tracy told me not to worry at all and that she would call them in the morning and get it taken care of for me. I honestly did not think much of it. I was fully prepared to call my doctors office / having to deal with it all on my own. Yet, I got a text saying my medication was ready in the morning. Tracy even called me personally (not just the automated generic voice message system they leave saying to come get your medication) Tracy called and told me that she had been calling my doctors office as soon as they opened and she had everything taken care of for me. It honestly made me cry. While dealing with so much such as a surgery and trying to get everything taken care of, it meant so much to me that she took care of everything for me and did not make a fuss about it. She literally went above and beyond and I'm extremely thankful that she not only does her job, but is extremely sympathetic and helpful. I truly had the best experience ever. I say that because I got injured at work regarding my long acrylic nail breaking in half. I waited too long to get my nail refill because I was so busy at work. Anyways 2 days later, I decide to go to nail salon to get my other nails shorter. I didn't expect my injured nail to get fixed because I still had pain. I even tell nail technician not to touch my injured finger. So Ann says let me take a look , I'll make sure to be very gentle with it. So I agree and took off the bandaid for her to see. She manage to trim the long nails off and cure the gap where the nail broke off from the nail bed. She manage to get my nail done back to medium length, I went in there with ugly nails and came out with pretty nails. I am very impressed with her level of expertise. I'm glad I found this nail salon because I randomly came here. Ann and Don will give you the best customer service and pretty nails. I get very many compliments on my nails at my workplace Hyatt Regency. I am never disappointed. He sat me down and started a soak-off, and while that was finishing, what I assume is a "regular" walked in around 11:13am and asked, "should I come back later?" since there were already about 6 people being serviced. He told her no, to sit at another table, and then got up and left me mid-service to go help her. Mind you, I only had gel on, so it's a soak-off with acetone and then drill off the rest. He started servicing her and never came back to me or communicated anything, he just walked away. Around 11:18, another lady noticed that the man just left me mid service and moved me to a pedicure chair and started my pedicure. After a while, the man finally came back to continue on my nails. I politely asked him to remove the aluminum foil, and he said he would finish doing my nails, but at that point I declined service based on how everything was handled. The other lady told me he "had an appointment," but I don't believe that was the case because she had just walked in and asked if she should come back later, not that she was there for a scheduled appointment. Overall, it was just handled very poorly. I come here when I'm in the area, and my partner is a regular customer, but after this experience, we both won't be coming back. Also, they charge to use your debit card.
