Today however I was left with uneven thin, flat brows . The older woman who did them was very gentle super nice and I know she didn't mean to , but they are my eyebrows so I am a little upset . I've been going to Jeeya Beauty since I first started threading my eyebrows (it's been 5 years!) and I love it here. The staff is great and I am thankful they've gotten my eyebrow shape down. Recently the original location closed and only the owner is working on her own in a Phoenix spa and salon location in cypress. Her prices increased, which is a shame, because I don't think I can afford my threading appointments with her anymore. I'm so happy I found this place! Similar to another Yelper's review, I recently moved to Orange County and couldn't continue traveling to my old eyebrow spot. I needed to go on my lunch and found this place 15 minutes from my work. Reema does an amazing job! I walked right in and she started threading my eyebrows. I could tell she was taking her time, and I'm glad she did because they came out amazing. I had my eyebrows microbladed years ago, and as it faded over time, my eyebrows have uneven shapes. She was able to minimize the unevenness and make them match. She also threaded them to the perfect size, not too thin or too thick. I have found my go to spot from now on! read more

Let me begin by saying that Reema is incredible and that this review is waaaay overdue. I moved to Orange County a couple of years ago. I had my girl who did my eyebrows in Alhambra and because it was so hard for me to let her go, I drove from Garden Grove to Alhambra every 2 weeks just to go see her for months. Unfortunately, that schedule was starting to work less and less for me so I had to venture elsewhere for my new go-to beauty shop. I tried out two locations prior to finding Jeeya Beauty and was extremely disappointed. There's nothing worse than having someone ruin the shape of your eyebrows and having to wait weeks for them to grow back to your desired state. I found Reema on Yelp and the reviews are what sold me. Walking into her shop that first time, I specifically remember asking for her and telling her that I was very anxious about her working on me. She sat me down, we chatted and the rest is history. My youngest sister was getting married and she wanted to have her and her bridesmaids to look good on her wedding. She made makeover arrangements for us to get all dolled up which was a special treat for me because I don't own or normally wear any makeup. I think the last time I previously wore makeup was at my other's sister wedding which was half a decade ago. Yikes! It is located in the inner shopping center of Los Alamitos Boulevard and Serpentine Drive (small street). The salon provides threading, henna tattoos, makeovers(no hair cuts), and waxing services by appointment. The stored is owned and management by Reema. I had the opportunity to chat with Reema during the curly and pinning of my updo. She was a very nice, soft spoken lady with great passion for her work and has many talents. She even design and decorated the interior of her salon. I like her sense of style. I also appreciated that she was flexible to have our appointments before her normal opening hours and that she was punctual for appointment. Timing is critical especially on the wedding day. Reema did a fantastic job on my hair and makeup. She was meticulous in spraying, pinning and curling my unruly hair. I also had threading done before the makeup, which was gentle and did not leave any puffiness or redness on my brows. I don't know much about makeup so I had her choose my colors. She chose a nice pink and purple eyeshadow that worked well with my skin tone. I had a huge reaction to the makeover since my family and relatives rarely see my in makeup. I must admit, I was surprised at the face looking back at me in the mirror, very surreal. After getting my nails done today I saw Lushes sign and I thought, why not. I didn't have an appointment and she was able to see me right away. I went in around 3pm on a Wednesday. I've never had my eyebrows threaded and I'm happy to say I had a great experience! Reema is the owner and she is awesome! She was very friendly and attentive. Fernanda is no longer here which is a bummer because she was the best. I called before going (as always) and they told me she was there. Once I arrived I found out she quit ( I don't understand why they didn't tell me that on the phone other than they don't want to lose business bc Fernanda is the best) Since I was already there I let the new girl do my brows and she left them uneven :( . My fourth time here in nearly a year and it's still just as awesome. The atmosphere is calming and welcoming. The staff is still so friendly. I hardly get my eyebrows done so I'm a complete novice as to what is what. I came wanting to try and go thinner not knowing if it would look good. The wonderful owner suggested instead doing arches and I felt very confident in leaving my eyebrows in her hands. I have gotten amazing compliments for my eyebrows. Just made my visit today for the first time for my eyebrows! It was close to my work and was located on my way home, so I decided to give it a try. Usually when I get my brows done, I get these weird twitches so uncontrollable that I sometimes need a break for a few seconds. Before we started, I let her know I am sensitive around my eyes. The lady who was there during my visit was so kind, asking me if I'm okay constantly through the session. Also, I haven't been to a threading salon for a while because I had no idea how I wanted to shape my brows, so my brows were all over the place. Very attentive to the shape you want! I went in to clean it up my brows and it came out more rounded than I liked, so I asked for an arch. I thought it was too thin at first, but after looking at it a day later, I am in love with how clean and sharp my arches are. Also, got my upper lips done and it felt so smooth. After moving to SoCal I have had a hard time finding a new place to go for threading. I have extremely sensitive skin and the three places I tried before finding Jeeya left me blistered and wearing hats to cover the damage for about a week each time. And then found Jeeya Beauty! Reema is AMAZING! Super light handed and I feel like my eyebrows stay looking nice a lot longer than other places I've been(even my place back home). I'm a little late writing this review but better late than never! I found Lush on Yelp back in July of this year, when there were only about 9 reviews. I usually went to Rekha's in Artesia but it's a little drive and I was looking for something a bit more local. So thankful I tried Lush. I walked in and immediately recognized Reema from her Ziba days in Costa Mesa! I am extremely fickle about my eyebrows and only trust certain people. Was very happy to see her because I remembered she did my brows so well at Ziba. People used to wait for her particularly. She eventually worked for Ziba corporate, training all their threaders! So happy that she was able to open her own business. She is precise and painless. She takes her time with you, even though someone is waiting. She diagnoses and suggests, prior to just doing. It's so awesome. It makes you trust her and her talents. I've been going to her religiously and never turned back. I get so many compliments on my brows and have brought new clients to her because she is just THAT GOOD! I just moved to the area from the West Side, and I was nervous trying to find a new threading place. Once again, Yelp did not let me down. I've been to Lush Brows and I've had Reema take care of me about three times now for a full-face threading, so I'm ready to review. I couldn't be happier here! Reema really takes her time with me every time. I told her that I'd like to grow out my brows after over-zealous threading by a previous girl (at Ziba at South Bay Galleria), and that with the help of a new threader (Linda at Daxa on the West Side), my eyebrows were in recovery. Reema has helped me continue where Linda left off. She does a great job at eyebrow shaping, and I'm happier than I've been IN YEARS. The name doesn't lie; I finally have lush brows! She also does an especially thorough job on my upper lip, sides below the ears, and neck (at extra charge). She is also able to deal effectively with stray hairs and ingrown hairs with a minimum of pain! She has earned my trust as my go-to threader. Not only is Reema competent and professional, she is so kind and conscientious! She remembers me every time, and we always pick up our conversations right where we left off the last time. I don't often get my brows threaded, but my sister and I spontaneously decided to go get them done. We were looking for places near our house and this was by far the best reviewed and it was close. When we first went in, the lady who did both of our brows welcomed us in. So, thumbs up for actually acknowledging us, unlike the other places we have gone to. Then, when we both went to the seat to get our brows done, she asked each of us what we were looking for and did exactly what we wanted. We both also got our lip threaded for the first time and it was awesome too. The prices are decent, like other places, and $2.00 off for check in!
