I've been seeing Lucky since before there was Flirt Lash Bar. I think we're going on 6+ years now. Best. Lashes. In. Town. I commute 30+ miles now because I've since moved away from Long Beach. They understand my eye shape and really create a unique set for me. I have long dark but super straight lashes and get volume light extensions (with adjustments to the shape of my eyes). The salon was recommended so I drove over an hour to get there. The AP directions took me to the alley where parking was a challenge and the suite had no bell so I had to go around front. I was ultimately 13 minutes late. I called when I was 5 minutes away and was told it was no problem. The salon and my technician were very nice and I was excited for new lashes before my vacation. Unfortunately 10 minutes after completing service I returned with concerns because a few lashes on the left eye had moved "weird". I was told that they would be ok. THEY WERE NOT. I did not rub or get my eyes wet during the day per the video instructions but I lost lashes all day The worst was when I woke up to huge bald spots on both lids. Flirt Lash was closed so I had to find a local place they could take me on a Sunday. Basically I drove over an hour, spent money on the service plus gas and then an additional $60 to fix my lashes before leaving on Monday on a cruise vacation. The new salon said that Flirt Lash technician should have fanned my eyes; the natural eye watering would not allow the glue to set. I contacted Flirt Lash bar immediately and did not hear back. Contacted them 4 day later and was told that it was because I arrived late and I had some mascara on my lashes when I arrived so there was nothing they could do. Terrible customer service. No compassion. Terrible product and I'm sharing with my friends that live in Long Beach...DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. read more

I had to wait a little while to post a review, just to make sure this place wasn't too good to be true. But it really IS that amazing!! I have been getting my lashes done all over Orange County, for around 10 years, so I know my stuff. The atmosphere is very inviting, very comfortable chairs, stylish interior. Jessica was my last artist, and I couldn't have been more impressed. She had a walk-though guide on the television to help pick out what lashes would be best for my style and eye shape. It was informative and very personalized! Jessica has a very gentle hand and did an absolutely stunning job. My eyes are kind of twitchy and sensitive, but she had techniques to stop my eyes from watering immediately. After she was done, I was given a vial of lash cleanser, a brush, and go-home follow up instructions. Out of all the places I have ever been to, this is by far the most professional, posh set-up I have ever seen. It's been about a week now and only 3 of my lashes have fallen out. Loved my experience at Flirt Lash Bar!! My mom and I came in as first time customers, and the whole experience was educational and welcoming. Overall process felt like we were not rushing into anything, which I liked. Inside the shop, the atmosphere is luxurious yet relaxed--those reclining chairs are super comfortable! Lucky, my lash tech is knowledgeable, gentle, detail-oriented and efficient. The application was not as long as expected and there was no discomfort whatsoever. The only reason I am giving Flirt Lash Bar 4 out of 5 stars is because I had to pay for removal when I found out I'm one of the very few individuals that have an allergy to the adhesive. When having my consultation before getting my lashes done, I was definitely informed that there's a possibility of having that effect, but that it was a very slim chance. After getting them done, the next day I woke up with the symptoms of an allergic reaction. It has absolutely nothing to do with the application or the products they use here, so don't be alarmed by this review. I'm simply just disappointed that I wasn't accommodated because the decision to take them off was solely for medical purposes and not a personal decision to have them removed. Going forward, I'd advise if in the event you guys have that rare client with an allergy like me to just accommodate them for removal. Also, it would be awesome to offer lash lifts! I'd definitely come back to get that done because the service I received other than that was wonderful. read more

I just wanted to say I'm extremely satisfied with the service I had gotten. It was my first time ever getting lash extensions, and decided to come to Flirt Lash Bar to get it done. Carla was extremely sweet and she did a great job. I had chosen the natural, class light set and wow! They looked so amazing and I couldn't stop staring!!! Lucky is amazing. She made my sad little lashes full and curly. I love how they look and how long they last. Right off the bat, I did a torture test and got my first set before heading off to 110° weather for a week, followed by a week swimming and sunbathing on an island. My lashes still looked wonderful. OMG!! That's how I felt right after my first set of eyelash extensions. I met with Lucky three days before my vacation trip to the Dominican Republic. I was very skeptical as all my research was showing up nightmares and the last thing I needed on my long awaited vacation was a disaster. Lucky was very educational answering ALL my million questions. She assure me that if I didn't feel compatible with the eyelash extensions, she would be more than happy to remove them. Well, by the time she was done, I couldn't even feel I had eyelash extensions at all. They felt extremely comfortable and the best part is how natural they looked. They looked FABULOUS and I looked amazing. On my two week trip to Dominican Republic I swam everyday either in a pool or the ocean, I ran every other day and I hiked whenever possible. I thought that I was going to lose my eyelash extensions with all the humidity in the air plus the salty ocean water; however, I found myself very surprised as this was a sign that Lucky is truly talented at her craft because she secure them very well. Check out my photo here - I am swimming in the middle of the ocean and they still look amazing even in a water environment. I followed her instructions of brushing them twice daily and making sure that they were cleaned every day and I was very surprised that with all the physical activity I was doing during my vacation they remain intact and I only lost a few. Every morning I would wake up and I was ready to go, no makeup was ever needed. In fact, I only wore makeup two nights. I highly recommend for you to come and see Lucky. She is extremely talented at her craft and she has spent a great amount of time and thought in setting up her eyelash extension studio. I went with my mom since she had to sign consent for me as I was under 18 at that time, a lash tech presented a little powerpoint about how to take care of them and she also gave me a little cleanser for my lashes. The owner was also very welcoming and helpful when I arrived. They do a quick presentation on types of lash styles, what's recommended and how to care for your lashes, if it's your first visit. Candice was very quick which I appreciated and recommended I go with a very natural look to help keep the integrity of my natural lashes. Went to flirt lash for the first time and I really really like it. Jessica did an amazing job. I have had my lashes done someplace else before but never did they have me watch a video on how to care for my lashes so I can save my own lashes. The glue they used was good or they didn't use as much as the previous place I used to go. When I opened my eyes after the process was done they did not burn from the strong fumes. Never thought I'd be the type of person who would get eyelash extensions, but after years of different types & brands of mascara I finally figured, what the heck. So glad I did, because I LOVED THEM! They were so easy to take care of and I got SO many compliments. I was hesitant at first to get a full set, but Lucky did such a great job and made them look so natural, and I get so many compliments! To begin with, I have a lot of eyelashes, but they are very straight and the extensions stayed curled and fanned out perfectly the whole time. They were light-weight and the perfect length. Getting them filled in & touched up is quick and the cost is totally worth not having to mess with make up everyday. Now I don't even know why I was worried in the first place, since they were so easy to maintain and they made my morning routine so much faster. P.S.
