She will extract until there's nothing left to extract. It kind of startled me because I've got an extra extractions before, but I've never had someone really go in like that, but honestly, my skin has not felt this smooth in forever. I had never had a Brazilian Wax and was quite nervous about the whole experience. I mean wax, down there? I just knew I'd cry. But I didn't. In fact, it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be, thanks to Vanessa. I told her it was my first time and she walked me through the whole process, step by step always letting me know what was going on before proceeding. It was great, I didn't feel anxious or rushed at all. I was super pleased with the results, and honestly the second one was even easier than the first! You really end up just chatting through your session to the point of almost not noticing the wax coming off. Plus they use a hard wax which doesn't require strips, and therefore doesn't pull your skin, just the hair. Huge plus!! The rest: In terms of decor, they've got a chic boutique feel going on. Everything is super clean and nicely lit. There are little samples in the waiting area if you are curious about some of their scrubs. I take another took around, and the decor of this place was breathtaking and aesthetically pleasing. I immediately felt welcome and reassured that I could trust this establishment with my skin. I also want to note that I've been recommended to go to Marina for my skin and I am thankful that I did. As for the service in itself, it was great! Marina evaluated my skin and recommended that we did IPL. The biggest issue with my skin was mainly with pigmentation and dryness and she recommended that we do this procedure to help. My face is varied in its pigmentation, as I grew up with some dark spots. My skin was also inconsistent in being oily and dry. This day that I visited Marina, my skin was especially dry. I told Marina all of this and she treated me very well. My face is definitely more even in its pigmentation and is a LOT less dry than it was before. Thank you Marina and I will definitely be coming back here again for your services.
