I love Wax N Blush! I have purchased a few clean beauty products here, and am obsessed with them. Recently went in to get a lash lift and tint by Larissa and WOW! They really looks so natural and yet makes such a difference in my daily makeup routine. She also did an amazing job on my brows-a wax and brow makeover, it was just what I needed. I felt so good after my visit, and will definitely be back for more beauty treatments and products! Thank you Larissa! read more

Wax N Blush - Eyebrow Services Near Me - Long Beach, California

This review is long overdue! I've been seeing Larissa for years (too many to count). After looking for a brow artist for quite some time, she was the first person I trusted to wax my brows in Long Beach. She was awarded best brows in LB in 2021 for a reason. Beyond providing a more than perfect service, Larissa is just a really cool person. She really cares about all of her clients and their experience when they come to visit her shop; you feel it instantly. All the other staff are just as cool too. Every time I leave, I feel so so full. It's like how you feel after hanging out with some of your best girlfriends. I can gush about this place & Larissa forever, but I'm going to leave it here. If you're looking for more than an exceptional service, Wax N' Blush is it!!! Thank you for feeling like home! I'll be a client for as long as I can be. read more

I just want to hang out here everyday! Not only are Araceli and Larrisa very lovely to be around but they really know their products. My skin has had a drastic transformation from acne to clear, healthy skin. Their tailored facials are always on point to my skin needs or even wellness needs. Their products are good, healthy and they are team that knows what they're offering to you. Friends and family are frequent clients here now. I will rave about them anytime. I will recomend them over and over. read more

This place feels like such a hidden gem in downtown! I love the selection of beauty products they have and everything is organized in such an aesthetically pleasing way, very cute and photogenic! And of course the services are amazing too. I booked the gua sha glow facial with Starr and it was truly the best experience. I don't treat myself often but this was such a relaxing and rejuvenating facial and it really helped with my redness from rosacea. My skin was glowing for several days after and I felt amazing. I definitely recommend booking a facial with Starr as she was so considerate and attentive, and heading downtown to check out Wax N Blush ASAP! read more

What a find! My partner and I were walking the area and came across this shop. The products they offer are vegan and clean. I bought a cleanser and some makeup, different than what I'm used to yet surprisingly good. (I've been using it for a couple weeks now). Larissa at the front told me about the services they provided and so I booked an appointment for a facial with Araceli. This facial was EVERYTHING. Araceli made me feel comfortable and so relaxed that I fell asleep! We talked about my skin and how I can help deal with my acne breakouts. I honestly felt like I was glowing afterwards Wax N Blush is def my new spot for all my beauty needs read more

So I have been coming to Wax N Blush for awhile for some everyday makeup items! I don't wear a lot of makeup and like to keep things clean, simple and natural so the ethos and assortment from Wax N Blush really check all the boxes! I get a great vegan mascara and brow pencil that are part of my daily routine that I always restock from here. Have gotten some great skincare gifts for friends here as well! Larissa is always so helpful in demo-ing new makeup products for me and making great suggestions. Aside from clean beauty and makeup products they carry, I also got my first ever facial here recently from Araceli! I don't have particular skin issues so I wasn't sure if facials were necessary, and have always been a bit intimidated by my idea of them. But I am 37 and I trust the Wax N Blush team and their products so I gave it a try! It really changed my perception of the process in a great way! The whole experience was really relaxing and restorative, it felt like a long facial massage essentially - which I didn't realize how much I needed until afterward! Araceli used some lovely natural creams and oils to nourish during the facial, gave me a gua sha massage, buccal massage, lymphatic drainage, and even a little arm and shoulder massage. She was gentle and considerate during the facial helping explain what everything was. I have had compliments on my skin over the last few days and also had a really great nights sleep the evening after the facial! So if you're wondering if a facial is for you, it is! Highly recommend both the products and the services from Wax N Blush to treat yourself to the ultimate self care. :) read more

I take my skincare very seriously and am picky about who and what products I invest in. Larissa and her team are not only great at customer service and making you feel comfortable, but they are also just really good at what they do. My skin, brows, etc are always on point under their care. Highly recommend! read more

Super clean, friendly and on time. Update - I've been coming here for while to get to my eyebrows done. Most recently, I was curious about getting a facial. At the recommendation of the owner, Larissa, she suggested the Guasha facial. I've been suffering with inflammation and this massage truly felt so relieving and relaxing. It's only been 24 hours and I certainly tell the change in my skin. I also appreciated the after care recommendations. read more

Went in not knowing exactly which facial would be best for the skin issues i was having but thanks to Araceli for suggesting the gua sha facial with added led light therapy treatment, I got the exact results she told me i would be seeing. It's been a week since my facial and am seeing better results now than the months i tried working on my skin myself. I honestly loved everything about my first experience at Wax N' Blush! From the cleanliness to the natural products, staff's kindness and overall relaxed environment. Somewhere I'm definitely going back to and would suggest to other friends and family. Thank you Araceli and Larissa!! read more

This review is long overdue. I've been seeing Araceli for some time for the Gua sha facials and she is amazing! She creates such a relaxing space and my face is always glowing after our sessions. She's also such a friendly and calming presence. It's like you've known her for years! Don't hesitate to book a session with her, you will love it. read more

Larissa is amazing! My coworker referred her to me and I will not go to anyone else. I'm new to the waxing life but it's time to breakup with my razor. I never felt more comfortable. Her space is clean and cute ! Book with Larissa!! read more

It was my first time ever getting a facial and my face was in good hands with Araceli. She explained all of the ingredients and benefits of the masks that she was using on me, and both her and Larissa created an really simple skin care routine for me. All of the products used did not cause any break-outs which is wonderful for the folks with sensitive skin. I will definitely come back! read more

This review is long overdue as I have been seeing Larissa for brows and Araceli for gua sha facials every month for years. This location is my one stop shop for self care and I always look forward to visiting. The eyebrow wax that Larissa uses is very gentle on my sensitive skin. She shapes my brows to perfection every time while keeping their natural shape and thickness. Araceli is a master with her hands and the gua sha facials are just heavenly. She takes the time to ask you about your skin and creates custom potions to fit your needs on the day of your service. I always leave feeling fab, renewed, and youthful. These women are simply the best in both skill and personality. I adore them both and it is truly a pleasure to visit. If you are looking for a self care oasis in Long Beach, look no further! read more

Absolutely loved Larissa! I wish she was in the SF Bay Area, I would totally go to her and often! She made my eyebrows look like they never have! She even tolerated my friend sitting in there while I was getting my face waxed! She took her time and did an amazing job...and I can't say enough, except I want to be able to visit again! What a gem! Thank you so much! read more

Larissa @ Wax N Blush made this experience exceptional. In my younger years I decided to wax my bikini line at a nail salon and apparently it left me traumatized. It was agony, unsanitary, out in the open and I left halfway through. I have struggled with shaving, razor burn, ingrown hair, allergic reactions to the razors, failed laser hair removal and etc. Lately I've been hearing wonderful feedback about Wax N Blush and decided to give it a try. Larissa, the owner, has created such a beautiful, safe, all inclusive and empowering space. I'm normally very shy and she had me at ease within the first few minutes. The products are top notch vegan, women owned and cruelty free, which is important to me. I highly recommend Wax N Blush! read more

I have going to Wax n Blush for years and love my facials from Araceli and my brows by Larissa! It is a wonderful shop and worth every penny. My brows have never looked better! Who knew I could develop such great brows! Getting a facial from Aracelli is such a guilty pleasure! My skin has never looked better!! read more

Love the organic products that are carefully curated in this shop! I also had an amazing facial and buccal massage from Araceli. So relaxing and such a treat after a stressful few months. I love stopping by and seeing what new products they have. Book now! You won't regret it. read more

I am a new resident to Long Beach. This was the 1st time I've been to Wax N' Blush. I got the "Glow Up Facial" by Araceli (aka Sally). I was very impressed on the organic products used. I loved the entire process & her hands work wonders! When I was done, my face was Glowing!! I enjoyed it so much that I made an appointment for my fiancée the following week. He was also happy with his facial! We plan to come back on a monthly basis to get the "Go and Glow Facial". Thank you Sally for an amazing experience! I highly recommend anyone looking for expert advice on face care to see Sally! read more

Excellent service, my fiance treated me to a facial and I was reluctant at 1st, but boy was I surprised. Araceli was super friendly, knowledgable, and very accommodating...a true professional. I had compliments all week on how vibrant and youthful my face looked. Definitely putting Wax and Blush on my monthly self- care schedule. read more

I was always a firm believer that threading my brows was the way to go! I've been scarred by so many horrible waxing experiences, I swore I'd never go back to waxing! That all changed once I met Larissa, she is a true BROW PERFECTIONIST! I spent the last year and a half growing out my eyebrows & entrusting Larissa through the entire process. I don't care that I make the commute from Fullerton to Long Beach, she's absolutely worth the drive! If you're looking for a complete brow makeover, you MUST see Larissa! Check out the picture below from my last visit. I swear, she's a Master of Brows! read more

Wax N Blush - Been a year of growing out! - Eyebrow Services Near Me - Long Beach, California

I have been coming to Larissa for about two years now and every interaction and experience with her has been wonderful! I only trust Larissa when it comes to my appointments now. What's awesome about Larissa is she is a great conversationalist and always makes me feel extremely comfortable. She always makes sure that the wax is right for my skin and gives me great aftercare advice. I recommend Wax N Blush and Larissa to everyone I know! I promise you will not be disappointed! I'd also like to add that Larissa has great and reasonable prices for her services and it's absolutely worth it. I always feel so happy and confident leaving her salon every time! read more

My facial experience with Araceli was magical-literally lol. It was more than just a good service it was a whole ass experience. She looked at my skin and and asked about my concerns and goals and then added provided her knowledge based off of my needs. Yes, she asked. Facials here are not generic and one method for all, she created a concoction there, for my needs that day. I love the plant based products! It has been one week since my facial and I still feel the glow gurrrll! She is knowledgable in products and love that she brings herself and into the experience so it feels more than just a service. It felt like getting a facial from a girlfriend, but relaxing without the drama lol I cant wait to go back! Ive spread the word for sure. read more

Long over due, but honestly I'm one of those who users who Yelp like Bible but rarely review. I've been seeing Larissa for a few years now for my eyebrow needs. She's friendly, easy to talk to, hip & just a cool chick. I refer any of my clients to her that need waxing because I use & trust her myself. I recently had her wax my entire face because as I'm getting older I'm noticing more fuzz. I'm pretty much a sissy lala when it comes to that stuff but she made it easy enough for me to make it through & I am very happy with the results. Thank you! read more

Once again Larissa did her thing!!! Always a great conversation and excellent results!!

What a gem! I saw that Larissa was nominated as one of LB's best eyebrow shaping locations so I decided to give it a shot! So glad I did. She is welcoming and so friendly. The studio is clean and inviting. The wax is gentle and for waxing, pretty painless. I look forward to working with Larissa to get my eyebrows in a better shape and growing more and looking good. So glad I came here! read more

I've been following Larissa since her days at Anastasia Beverly Hills. Im so happy she has own studio, she only uses the best quality organic waxes, perfect for my sensitive skin. I love the way she sculpts my brows, they look natural and not overdone and "Instagram". (Ladies you know what I'm talking about!) So soft and natural! read more

I loved my experience with Araceli. She made me feel so relaxed and my skin feels so refreshed. I left the place glowing. Loved her magic hands!!! Highly recommend. read more

I went to Wax N Blush for the first time to get a facial by Araceli. First I have to mention that the space is so beautiful and welcoming! It's also an all women business which really drew me in. The products they use are all organic, high quality, cruelty-free, and ethically sourced. I was so relaxed during my facial, I started to fall asleep! Sally really has magical hands. I left with a fresh, dewy face that my partner complimented as soon as I walked through the door-- which never happens, let's be honest. I can't wait to go back! I'm definitely adding it to my self care routine. Thank you, Araceli! You're the best! read more

I would give Larissa 10 stars if I could. I have been going to her for years and she's just the best. Her new space is so welcoming and bright and clean. Whether it's your first wax or 50th, she makes you comfortable, and using hard wax keeps things as pain free as possible. I never experience any redness or irritation after a waxing. And her services and products align with her vegan philosophy, which is so inspiring. I highly recommend Wax N Blush! read more

I cannot recommended Larissa enough. She's seriously changed my life and the only way I can even think about expressing this is in a list. YES. A LIST. 1.) Can we talk about how absolutely personable she is? Larissa is super friendly, warm and engaging. She explains the process thoroughly and her knowledge of waxing, wax types, skin types, etc really comes through in the way she talks. 2.) Cleanliness! Oh my god, I cannot tell you how great it feels to know that she is 100% sanitary and takes the cleanliness of her workspace and work seriously. You don't have to worry about double dipping, cross contamination or unsanitary beds with Larissa. She keeps her place immaculate and I appreciate it so much. 3.) The way she waxes you doesn't make it hurt any more than it has to. Yes, waxing is always going to be uncomfortable for some people. But Larissa is so efficient with it that it really didn't hurt me after the first ten seconds when I settled in to what was going to happen. 4.) Quality of products. This girl doesn't skimp. She uses some really good quality stuff and it shows on how your skin reacts. At least it did for me! Thank you so much for making my hair removal process a good, even fun experience!! read more

If there was just a thing as brow "Grammys," Larissa would take the brow- ward. I've been getting my eyebrows waxed by Larissa for a few months now. I met her at her previous shop.. and boy did I hit the jackpot! Larissa takes eye brow waxing/ shaping to a whole other level. Long are the days when I used to nod my head in approval as a "waxer" over waxed my brows. Since day one, Larissa took the time to get to know me and my brow- specific goals. She has guided me through my "over plucked" phase, and has even provided me with tips that I can easily follow at home. My brows have never looked this good! If you are looking for someone who knows brows (and is not only professional, but friendly and efficient)... contact Larissa for your next wax appointment. read more

I've known Larissa for almost 4 years now and she has been my go-to EVER SINCE!!! I met her while she was working at another wax salon and was so happy that she decided to branch out on her own. She offers several services: waxing (face & body), lash curl (which I'm obsessed with ), and makeup services. Her brow makeovers are the stuff of dreams. She uses vegan, cruelty-free products and I so appreciate that! Her website is easy to navigate and she takes cash/cards as payment. (I primarily see her for waxing) When you go see her, it feels like you're catching up with a girlfriend: you update each other on the gossip, have some refreshments, and enjoy her cute office space. She's always been very professional and has started selling other beauty products, always supporting LB's small businesses. You will NOT be disappointed. Just trust me and book! (I recently gave my first bad review and it left me feeling off so I definitely wanted to offset that with shining this bright star on Larissa and her great services.) read more

I've have been searching for years to try to find someone to do my Brazilians and just could not find a right fit for me. I am a big, big baby with very low pain tolerance, I had experiences in the past where I would be laying on the table in agony for almost an hour!! When I first got referred to Larissa from my neighbor, I embarrassingly expressed all my concerns and I could tell she was really listening to me. She got me in and out in about ten minutes! I have gone two times now and the second time without tweezing or anything, she managed to leave me completely bare with little to no irritation to my very sensitive skin. She makes it so painless and even reminds me to breath. She really is the best "waxer" I've come across and I look forward to coming back each month to get that fresh swimsuit ready downstairs :D read more

Short Version: I've been going to Larissa for my eyebrows for over a year now and cannot recommend her enough. If you're looking for someone to go to in Long Beach that you can trust and is consistent, Larissa is that person. Long Version: As a guy, all I look for is consistency and someone who does not "over do it" when it comes to my eyebrows. Larissa is that and more. For as long as I've been going to her, she always hands me the mirror but the outcome is the same: nicely trimmed, waxed, and symmetrical eyebrows. Additionally, she is able to clean up my eyebrows without making it look like I get it done (per my request); this goes back to the "not over doing it" statement. Lastly, my skin can be sensitive and Larissa always remembers to use the appropriate products to not cause me to have a reaction. This has always impressed me considering the number of clients she has. In summary, I recommend her enough. As I mentioned before, I only get my eyebrows done but if there was anything else I needed, I wouldn't hesitate going to her. Thanks, Larissa!! read more

I was so happy with my service Larissa is the best she made me feel really comfortable. I will for sure be coming back !! This was my very first time getting my Brazilian wax the pain wasn't as bad as I thought Larissa helped through the process and made sure I was doing okay through the whole process. She knows what's she doing for sure .I truly recommend her 100% !! She the BEST . read more

I have to say I have NEVER met another esti that is as knowledgeable as Miss Larissa is about her products that she uses in your skin. I have always had sensitive skin and would immediately break out or have my skin lift during waxing but NOT with Wax n' Blush. Larissa has taken the time to ONLY use organic vegan and cruelty free products on her clients and besides the smell being AMAZING the wax is gentle on my skin and leaves me feeling like a DIVINE GODDESS on the way out. I HIGHLY recommend this establishment and their NEW REVAMPED BIGGER SUITE WOTH A WINDOW is even more BETTER for her Sacred Space. The ENERGYis exactly what I enjoy when I visit her lil' spa. Looking forward to my next appointment. Thank you Larissa read more

Larissa treated my mom and me like we were her favorites! Meaning from start to finish she was professional, patient and did a fantastic job as we were both "newbies" at this eyebrow thing. Clean space, small but has everything she needs plus space for another person to relax and be there at the same time. Would highly recommend! read more
