Solina was great! Very welcoming and informative. She took my appointment in short notice and communicated in availability well. I got the lash lift, skipped the keratin and lash tint (optional). It's been 3 weeks now. Tip: you must have healthy and well-taken care of lashes before considering this, but Solina will advise you before appointment if you are the right candidate or not by sending pics. Must also have good lash care habits which I do at home. I have very straight lashes. This process was one hour long and it felt shorter than that. Solina was nice to explain the treatment as we went along and conversed. It was a pleasant appointment and she answers questions even after the appt. Most tips and info before your appt is well explained at the website link. Tip: I would plan out your day + 24 hours to not get your lash lift wet. She does not respond to email as fast as SMS messaging, however. My lashes look great! Makes getting ready faster and easier and I don't have to worry about curling or flattening. Absolutely the best! About to go on a 3 week Asia trip and knew the hot humid weather would prevent me want wanting to wear make up and decided to get lash extensions. I can now just get up and go! Powder and brows are all Update: it's been three weeks now and my lashes still looks amazing! I have a refill this weekend and even debating on postponing it. The only person I will let apply lash extensions on me is Solina! And now she also offers lash lifts which I just got done over the weekend . First it's going to be about the eyelash extensions. It takes about 2 hours for the application (refill is not that long). Btw, her studio is so cute and super super clean! I love that she takes her time in applying the lashes and will ask if I'm doing fine and if I'm cold she offers a blanket, lol. It's just a very relaxing place! Anyways, the lashes last about 3 weeks and then she schedules you to come in for the your fill. Whenever it was time to get a fill done, my lashes were still really nice!!! It's the way she does it, and therefore can't go to anyone else but her! This review is on the lash lift I just got over the weekend, so I took a break off lash extensions for a while and I stopped wearing mascara due to the fact I've had eye allergies (contact lens wearer) so I opted to try out the last perm and OMG, I'm so amazed because my lashes look as if I'm wearing mascara and she also tints them too!! So my lashes look thicker and darker. I will continue to get the lash lift because it's amazing not having to curl my lashes anymore or use mascara (great alternative. They also last up to 6 weeks! Just had my first lash lift today with Solina (I previously have had extensions done elsewhere), and I love the results. First of all, Solina is so professional, sweet and above all else, genuine. Everything she asked me and said was just so genuine that I felt immediately comfortable. That's not something I can say about many other new business owners/people I come in contact with. The entire process takes about 45 min to an hour but it honestly went by so fast. The best part (aside from Solina herself) is that the curl should last for about three months, making it so much more affordable and low maintenance than extensions. Okay, I'm going to give my honest & open review about my experience with Solina @ Celfie Studio. To start off, Solina is very friendly. She makes sure that you feel comfortable and know what you're getting into before anything happens. From previous experience with 2 different other lash lifts in the past, this is by far the best experience hands down & I will forsure not be going to any other place/person to get my eyelashes and eyebrows done. I found Solina on Instagram @CelfieStudio. Before I made an appointment with her, I spoke with her via Instagram DMs back in May of 2018 to see if she was available for new clients, after reading from reviews that she gets busy throughout the year pretty quickly. However, I didn't book an appointment with her in 2018 only because I wanted to do my further research before getting my lashes lifted (keep in mind, I haven't got them done prior to messaging her that day). I wasn't sure if the lift was going to even work on my lashes only because of the way my eyelashes usually turn out when I manually curl them myself. My eyelashes are naturally straight so it takes a while for them to curl up (even with mascara). While messaging her that day, she told me that she would be able to accommodate me to what works best for both of our schedules (see pic below) which I thought was very sweet of her because now learning from experience there are some businesses (eyelashes or not) out there who will only book you when their schedule is open even if yours isn't. From May 2018 to July 2019, I've encountered 3 different lash lift experiences including this previous one early this month with Solina. All of which I can say that I'm glad I got to experience. The first two weren't terrible but I chose not to go back to them again either because of where it was located, how my lashes turned out, how much I had to pay, how the person treated me, etc. With Solina, I can honestly say I had no and still have no problems with the way she treated me, how my lashes turned out, where her studio was located (less than 10min from my house), how much I had to pay her, etc. Before the process, she had me sign a paper to make sure I wasn't allergic to any products and whatnot, and thoroughly went over what was going to happen before, during, and after the lift. During the process (approximately 1-1 1/2 hrs. including my brow henna), we shared things about both of our personal lives and she answered all of the questions I had about my lashes and brows. Even within that short amount of time of getting to know her, I can already consider her as one of my good friends :). She was so sweet and open to listening to all that I had to say. We related to a lot of things and she made me feel at peace. Solina is an all-in-all type of girl! She not only can make you look beautiful, but she can make you feel beautiful too. After the process, my right side set of eyelashes didn't curl as well as the left side the first time she did them (but this happened with my 2 other experiences as well and even when I manually curl my own lashes everyday), but she took her time to go back to redo them even before showing me to ensure that I would like them and get what I paid for! Also, I got soo lucky to get booked last minute! I went out of the country on the 5th of July and really wanted to get my lashes done before then, hoping that I'd be lucky to even get a spot.. and luckily I messaged her two days before leaving out of the country on the 3rd, she messaged me back the next day (on the 4th) telling me she was available on the 5th at 1pm (hours before I had to hop on a plane)!! She went over with me all of her prices for the services I requested & even gave me thorough directions of where her studio was located and how to get there. Since I was a first time client, I had to pay her $50 via Venmo (which went toward my total payment) and then rest in cash which was not at all a problem for me. After the day of my lash lift/brow henna appointment, she sent me links to all of the lash serums that she recommends to all her clients for better future results for your lashes. She doesn't sell them herself only because it's easier for you to return any items from the companies (in case you need to), which is very understandable on her end. Her studio itself is in a small room located inside of a hair salon which is very clean and well maintained in my opinion. Today is Monday, July 15th and Solina kindly checked up on me a few hours ago to see how my lashes were. It's been 10 days since my lash lift on the 5th and they're still looking as beautiful as they did on day 1!! Thank you so so much to Solina not only for making me look and feel beautiful but for just being an amazing human being. We need more and more people like you on this Earth and I'm so glad to have met you!! Can't wait to see you again soon! read more
