I got an eyebrow threading and I liked the way they did my brows! Knocking off a star, because the customer service could be a bit friendlier. I felt like I wasn't really accommodated when I walked in and the 2 times I've been, there's always been a problem or delay with their payment system. 1st time, LOVED IT! I was greeted with a warm smile by Ashima right when i walked into this Professional, clean environment. I came for eyebrow threading to follow my example photo. Ashima threaded partially, then styled with gel so i can see if i liked it. After I said I wanted it clean & sharper like my photo, she knew exactly what to do and made it happen! She also noticed I had gap spots (plucked myself), and gave me more styling and product recommendations. I let her know I thought of micro blading in the future. Riya has worked on my eyebrows in the past and has done a good job.. but today she did something that is completely unprofessional and inexcusable. She accidentally waxed a CHUNK of my eyebrow off, covered it with makeup, and didn't say ANYTHING. I thought everything was normal until I got home and washed my face... the chunk appeared and my heart dropped to my stomach. When I called her to ask about it she pretended to not know what I was talking about!!! This is absolutely absurd and completely unprofessional. read more

I do like this place and will come back. They take ClassPass points or you can walk in. Their best service is the eyebrow threading with henna because it looks the most natural. The threading service is quick and painless. Everyone is nice and welcoming! There's usually not a long wait but I do like to go during less busy times on the weekdays just in case. It's also street parking only so be prepared to drive around looking for a good spot to park your car. read more

I had an appointment with Riya on Saturday and they called me on Friday to cancel as she wasn't going to be in. I then booked an appointment with Malti on Monday and when I show up they tell me she isn't there. It would have been nice to know that before I drove to the location. The staff then tells me I can drive 40 minutes to the Orange location if I want Malti. Because I was there already I just let Ashima do my eyebrows and I was not happy with my eyebrows. I did thread and tint and she didn't even clean up the tint. The more I look at my brows the more unhappy I am. I however did not want Ashima messing up my brows even more so I did not want her to try and "fix it" as she was the only artist there. read more

I've been a loyal client at this studio for 5+ years and have had many great experiences, especially with Riya, who always takes extra care during services like underarm waxing and eyebrow threading. That said, my visit today with another brow artist left me a bit disappointed, and I feel it's worth sharing in the hopes of helping improve consistency. There was only one brow artist working during my visit, so I understood the longer wait time. She was already working with a client and there was one more person before me. The overall wait and service time together was about 45 min. She first threaded my eyebrows, and while the shape was mostly fine, I noticed a few longer hairs still sticking out. When I asked if she could trim them a bit more, she initially said she had already cleaned them up, but agreed to trim after I repeated the request. Her tone felt slightly dismissive, which caught me off guard. For the underarm waxing, I've always appreciated the level of detail and care in past appointments, but this experience didn't match what I've come to expect. Typically, they would apply baby powder to prep the skin--especially if it was a bit sweaty--and carefully remove any leftover hairs, even threading the small ones (an attention to detail I've always appreciated). This time, the powder wasn't used, and when I got home I saw that quite a few hairs were left on my right underarm. At checkout, I gave the brow artist a "great" rating on the payment screen (which is one after "excellent" being the highest) because I understood that she was the only one there with 3 other clients waiting. Also, she did further trim my brows upon my request. When she asked what could have made the service better, I started to explain that I usually have powder applied and some touch-up threading, and she quickly responded that they only use powder when underarms are wet--which mine were. Her tone felt defensive rather than open, and it made the conversation uncomfortable, so I didn't press further and just left. I really do like this salon and appreciate how hard the team works--especially when short-staffed. I just hope that all of the staff can provide the same level of thoroughness and openness to feedback as I've experienced in the past. I'll continue coming here, but I'll probably make sure to book with particular brow artists moving forward. read more
