It was okay. Workers were nice I do give them that. My eyebrows are pretty thick but sparcy so I know that it's hard to get them the way I want. After she was done with my brows and showed me with a mirror I asked her if she can take off a little bit more at the bottom of my brows and she said its because she was trying an arch affect. I've been going to Sufi at Golden Eyebrow Threading for the past 5 years! She's consistent and listens to what you ask for, though now she knows me so well that I don't even have to ask anymore. They asked if I used retinol and I said I had not in a couple weeks and asked if I wanted to do threading and I said that threading hurts but if they don't think I should do waxing right now, I don't have to. They still went ahead and did it, I was so red on my face when they finished and asked if I was going to scab and they said no but to ice my face and use cool water. I went home and iced my face and put aloe vera all over my face before going to bed. I woke up the next morning and around my eyebrows and around my mouth had burn marks! Which means they ripped my skin off. I told them I wouldn't do it if I shouldn't and they still did it, I should have said no and got up and left. It was raining so I imagine business was slow and they just wanted to take my money. $30 isn't a lot of money but it is when you have burn marks throughout your face. Do NOT go here. I wanted to add to this review, I called Golden Eyebrow Threading the next day and the owner yelled and blamed me on the phone for them ripping my skin off. She was yelling at me and kept interrupting, I was so angry with my interaction with her and how she blamed me for them ripping my skin off. She told me to go home and ice my face but since I did that and also put aloe vera and Aquaphor on my face to help the healing process faster, she blamed me for that and that I did everything wrong. She took ZERO responsibility for them ripping my skin off on my face. I'm a hairstylist and work with a girl who does facials and she even told me the owner is absolutely wrong for just icing my face, that I did the correct moves to heal my face with at least aloe vera. Amazing work every single time! I don't understand the mixed reviews - this place always does an incredible job for me. I usually stop by here after or before a Target or Trader Joe's grocery run, and they consistently deliver phenomenal results. I have really thick eyebrows and really care about how they look - I've invested in eyebrow tattooing and feathering before, so I have high standards for eyebrow services. What I love about this place is they follow my natural shape instead of trying to force a trendy look that doesn't work for my face. Paid to have my eyebrows ruined I've been here before with no issues but this time I'm so disappointed. she made them super thin one thinner than the other. They look really uneven It took me a long time to grow them out.She explained that I already had them thin when I came in and it wasn't true I grew them out. When I told her she seemed very defensive. All that was said was sorry and why didn't I complain when she first did it like it would make a difference. She showed me that the same person did my eyebrows last time as if it was relevant to the botching she did. I've gone here a couple times to get my eyebrows threaded. I do think it was less painful here than some other places I've gone to, especially for the under eyebrow region. They didn't make my brows as sharp as the place I used to go to does, but when I asked to get a little more cleaned up she was nice about it. She also pointed out that she shouldn't clean up a certain part I was asking for because I had a bald spot, so I'm very glad she pointed it out instead of listening to me because that definitely would have been a bad move. read more

First time trying threading, man, some areas are painful but that was my fault. The areas with longer hair were painful but Sufi did a great job of having me help to ease the pain. I appreciate her hard work and will remember the advice of once a month to minimize the pain for the next time. I did learn something new about not doing anything to the nose area. Don't want a hairy nose. Not sure the under lip is part of the better not touch it area because I could feel some hair left untreated. Overall, Sufi was great! She checked my cheeks a few times for any missed hair. I wanted to wait about 4 months before leaving a review because in my experience, consistency is very important. Before seeing Sufi, I had a bad experience with a threading place which left my brows very thin and patchy in some areas. At the beginning of my first appointment Sufi took the time to listen about my past experience and to consult with me about the path to take to restore my brows. Fast forward to now, 4 months later, and my brows are full again and neat! The salon is also clean and the employees continue to take COVID-Safe precautions by wearing masks. Figured I should post an updated review as it's been a while since I've started coming here (around two years) and I cannot thank Sufi enough for saving my eyebrows. When I first came to her, my eyebrows were thin from a previous place and just not good. But not, they're fuller and I have Sufi to thank. She's the only person I trust with my brows and refuse to try anyone else. I would wait months just to see her specifically. I love how they're handling business during this pandemic! She makes sure to sanitize the seat after each use and will not allow others to wait inside so it's very private. She does also take walk-ins, which work very well with my schedule as I can only make it after work on weekdays so I always appreciate her staying a little after closing to attend to me. Prices did increase a little due to COVID causing a decrease in foot traffic but honestly, I don't mind at all! Small businesses are struggling and I am more than happy to pay a bit more if it means helping her business stay open. read more
