I'll be honest that I'm not the best with keeping on top of the eyebrow game, but I will do it intermittently; especially if my wife wants me kept for a special occasion. Two eyebrows tend to look sharper than one. Rekha's Threading Salon is located in Artesia on the floor above Bakers and Baristas. Though I tend to prefer waxing, threading is the most precise way to be able to get an eyebrow cleanup. It isn't the most comfortable process, but this spot is clean, they do a good job here, and they do it pretty quickly. I can also trust that they can clean things up without messing with my natural shape. It costs $12, and I'm usually in and out pretty quickly. read more

Wow I can't believe I haven't left a review for this place! Located in the back of a busy plaza on the second floor, parking can get tricky depending on shared peak hours with the other restaurants. If you manage to find a parking spot, make your way up the stairs to Rekha's salon. Threading is affordable, the studio is clean & they've always been friendly. I don't usually request anyone in particular, everyone who's done my eyebrows takes into consideration what I'm looking for & executed exactly what I wanted. They offer witch hazel to help with cooling & trim any wild hairs (sometimes ya girls got them.) They take Apple Pay or cash & I want to say I have a stamp card still. I was in dire need of getting my brows done and we were staying in Cerritos for the weekend so I quickly hopped on Yelp to find the highest rated threading salon and this place came up. I decided to give it a try so my sister and I headed there and when we arrived, there was no one in there so we were immediately seated and got our brows done. The lady who did my brows did an excellent job, to the point where I barely felt any pain which is very rare for me because I usually end up in tears when I leave due to my sensitivity. I would definitely come back here because the service was quick easy and high-quality. Eyebrow threading was only $11 here! First time going here and my last. The Lady wasn't rude or friendly but did a horrible job on my eyebrows. Why did she cut them with scissors to the the point that there's straight lines and they look unnatural. Horrible actually. I also have some kind of rash or something all around my lip. I don't even know why I got my lip done because it wasn't bad but now I have red bumps all over and that looks way worse than having hair. I also had to use tweezers to try and even things. I have been getting my eyebrows done at Rekha's threading for eight years now, they have always done a great job on my eyebrows. I was actually letting my eyebrows grow out in 2017 because the previous place made them too thin. I was recommended by my co workers to go to Pooja and her mother. They did a perfect job on the shape of my eyebrows and till this day they have never messed up my eyebrows. I highly recommend them!! Thank you for always having great customer service. I am an Irish guy with thick bushy eyebrows and have been to several places for my eyebrows in my lifetime.. initially waxing and then of course when I found threading. We're lucky to have a couple decent places in Cerritos but none are as clean, precise, and friendly as Rekha's. Your first visit will probably have you lost as it's upstairs at a busy center, but once you find it you will never have issues again.. (and trust you'll be back hennny!) Pooja is amazing and has a swift and precise skill with threading. She is super friendly and I feel like I'm visiting a friend each time. Rekha, her mother, is also very good at what she does. You can't go wrong with either one of these two. I feel like I've always been on the hunt for the perfect spot since I was a teen. I've been through plenty and found my eyebrow haven at Rekha's. My wife usually goes to a different place. But the girl who she usually goes to wasn't there. She found this place on yelp which has great reviews. So she thought, how bad could it be if she tried this place. Sadly, it was horrible. My wife will not be going back here. Look at the pic of and tell me if you disagree. Both eye brows are not even in thickness. The brow on the right is thinner on the right side, and thick on the left side. The right brow is horribly uneven while the left is fine. How can a threading salon do this to their customer and send them on their way knowing they F'd up. This is ridiculous. And the fact she had to pay to get her brows mutilated is just wrong. BTW, they only spent 5 minutes when normal threading takes 10-15. Customers beware. read more

I really don't like this place but I keep going back -- I have to write this review to remind myself not to go back. I have tried this place four times now and each time I go, I feel both Rekha and her mother do not do a meticulous job with their threading. The removed eyebrow hairs are still visible and I always point out a few missed hairs I would like removed-- I usually go home and remove a few more hairs as well. I kept giving this place a chance due to the stellar reviews on Yelp but when I took a friend with me to Rekha's, she complained about the same things I did (not prompted by me, I promise!). I am used to having my eyebrows look really "clean" when I get them threaded and this place does not give me that look. I need to find another place soon...... anyone have any recommendations?! read more
