I'm so fortunate I live 2 minutes from this place! I will only get my eyebrows done here. She has not changed the price for eyebrow threading since I first started coming ($5) and does an amazing job. It's super quick and painless. She listens to what you want/your eyebrow goals whether it's clean up, shaping, keeping them natural, or regrowth. When my eyebrows were growing in from over plucking she listened and kept them groomed while they were still in that awkward phase that made it hard to find their shape. I've been coming to this threading spot since I lived in Lakewood and I've always loved it here. Even after moving back to LA, I held off on getting my eyebrows done until today, that's how much I trust this place! Every time I've come in the past, the team has nailed it. I always ask for just a cleanup, no shaping, and no thinning. They always deliver exactly what I want. They've consistently respected the fact that my left brow grows a little thinner, so the cleanup is always done carefully and subtly. I've left happy every time until today, unfortunately. It was a bit busier than usual (about 3-4 girls waiting), and a new lady (Asian, soft-spoken just to identify, not criticize) took care of me. I was very clear and polite: just a cleanup, especially be gentle with the left one. She acknowledged it with a quick "hm" and got to work. When she finished, I was really disappointed. My left brow was significantly thinner than the right, and the shape overall was much more drastic than what I'd asked. It wasn't a cleanup, it was a reshape and thin out. I know brows aren't meant to be identical twins, but this was very unbalanced. Still, I didn't make a fuss. I paid, tipped, and left, mostly out of respect for the owner, who is a total sweetheart and has always treated me with kindness and professionalism. Despite this one-off experience, I still believe this is the best place to go for threading. I've had years of great service here, and I'll be back, just maybe with a little extra care about who I sit with next time. read more

I went to the Teryaki place next door and noticed this threading salon. My eyebrows are microbladed and I haven't had them threaded in over 2 yrs..usually just pluck. But I let them grow out a bit so that I could get a clean look with threading. She did a great job! Quick, pretty painless, and for 5 bucks..can't beat that! Of course at least a $5 tip seems ethical right?! I usually get a couple of bumps after threading and/or waxing, but its the day after and so far so good. I'll definitely be back. read more

For some reason, I thought I have already left a review for this place. Better now than never! I moved to the area a few years ago & was in need of a threading place that was more local & convenient. Found this hidden gem on Yelp. The lady who threads eyebrows is also the owner. Pretty much a ONE-WOMAN show! She does it ALL! The prices are the best in the area & there is a punch card for a free eyebrow threading on your 11th visit. Mina is very professional and meticulous with her work. She listens to what you want, makes suggestions & doublechecks if you are happy with her work. If she is unable to get a stubborn piece of stub out, she will suggest to come back in 2 or 3 days to get it redone for free, which I LOVE her honesty. Even though she works by herself, she does get busy during certain times. She works FAST, but yet efficient & accurate at the same time. I appreciate how accommodating Mina has been with time. She has told me to call ahead if I would like to come later or early. She also offers Henna tattoos, which I have had her do for special occasions. It is always fun! Highly recommend this place!!!! My eyebrows are safe with Mina! I've been going to her consistently. She is so welcoming, is a master at her eyebrow beauty threading service, and provides her service at an unbeatable price of $5. I've gotten to know her more and more through our conversations, and I learned that she has previous experience from working at Ziba's some years ago for years (a pretty reputable eyebrow place if you ask me). Overall she is very hardworking and attentive. Please keep in mind she does run her business on her own as she's always there everyday for what it seems to be every hour of business operation. I read all these great reviews, so I went in the middle of a Saturday to get my eyebrows done and there is a taped note on the door saying that they would be back in an hour. An hour from what time? If you're going to close your business in the middle of the day, you should at least see what time you're going to be back so that people don't sit around waiting for you. DO NOT COME HERE. Or do, but know that her work is inconsistent. I originally came here late November because my go to eyebrow lady was out of town. She did a good job and I thought oh cool maybe I can have a second eyebrow place option. So I came back today to do my brows and omggggg they're so uneven! One was way skinnier than the other too! And I told her just clean up, because I like thick brows. I posted a pic of them. Look at it. I nicely told her too after that one was skinnier and she just said "oh no I just did clean up" very defensively and I didn't want to argue so I just paid and left. I wish she would have been honest and owned up to the mistake or knowing I said one was skinnier and obviously unhappy with the brow work, she could have offered to fix it, especially because I said it nicely. I wasn't even rude to her. I had to go to another eyebrow place to have them fix it. They had to make them a little thinner to fix the arching. I'm so upset. I am never coming back again.
