I came here to get waxed because my waxer was out of town and it was time. Plus, I don't shave anymore. (No one wants ingrown hair & risk cutting ourselves down there, right?) Anyway, this was the only place in Long Beach opened later than other places (6pm close time) and so I called and booked and drove there. Parked on the residential street & walked over. I got greeted by Sapana (spelling?) who was working on someone else's eyebrows (good job, btw) and I signed in and sat down. A lady was relaxed & asleep in front of me on one of the booth chairs! Good sign, I guess. lol! After she finished with the young teen, I got a waxed by her and she did a great job! I already forgot if it was painful! She's that good. Not sugar wax but strips. It was very warm so brace yourselves. She did such a good job, she didn't have to tweeze anything. I exfoliated, yesterday, before coming so I guess that's good. Finished in less than 30 min. And I was considering getting my eyelashes done for the first time... the ladies convinced me it was worth it and so I got it done with Aysha (spelling?) and she was pleasant and we carried on great conversation. I am well pleased with how it turned out! Yay! No more mascara! Saves so much time! Highly recommended! Cute spot upstairs from the restaurant. read more

What a cute spot! The atmosphere is both girly and cozy, making it such a comfortable place to relax. It's also conveniently located and easy to access, which is always a plus. I came in for eyebrow threading, tinting, and lamination, and had a great experience. The technician was very attentive and careful throughout the entire process, making sure to keep track of all the timing perfectly even while assisting other clients. I decided to try this place out after being a bit disappointed in my experience at another brow place. I was very pleased with my service and the price. I got the threading + tint and my brows came out so nice. And anyplace with an outdoor patio gets extra points for me. Going outside and sitting on the patio enhanced the waiting experience for sure. Next time I would probably book an appt ahead of time because they are pretty busy on a Saturday. read more

I've been coming here for a little over 2 yrs for lashes and brows. It's now my go-to for both with Aysha. Brows: I used to get tint and lamination for my brows, but i think it's just not a good look for my face, so now I get Henna brows done and I love it! It's more of a natural look than lamination and less damaging to my brow growth. I love that she lets me be a bit picky with the shape. She does the ink then let's me add to some spots or remove as I like. Lashes: I get wet lashes done in doll-eye shape (rounded rather than cat eye). It took maybe 2-3 appointments of doing different volume levels to see what I liked and now she does them consistently exactly how I love them each time. Not too much volume, but a tiny bit more than natural looking. Ambiance & Other: They always have good music playing. Never usually have any issues with parking, there's always plenty out front or on the side. And everyone who works there is just good people, but of course, it's Long Beach :) Aside from doing such an amazing job every time, Aysha typically does both my brows and a full set of lashes in about an hour and 15 mins tops. She's so fast! read more

Service: 9/10 Quality: 8/10 Vibe: 10/10 I recently booked my first threading + eyebrow tint appointment at this spot, and I was super skeptical. I used to frequent another threading location nearby, until they lost their star threader and left my eyebrows stranded + unkept for months. Then I walked by this place last week and decided to give them a try. Best impulsive decision I've made recently because this spot is nowy new home for eyebrow threading + tint! Geeta did an AMAZING job fixing my very thin brows shape with threading + depth with the tint. With the new customer special, I paid $22 for both services. Unfortunately, the tint only lasts for a week or so, but it's worth it if you have an upcoming event or special occasion. Your brows will look professionally done for days, at a fraction of the cost of microblading. I love the results from my first appointment, and can't wait to return for second! read more

Love this spot! Not only is the nice but the salon itself is very beautiful, I needed my lashes done last minute cause my tech is just way to expensive now. I called on a Saturday & they scheduled me an appointment within an hour the same day! Aysha did my lashes beautifully not to mention I went in for a fill & she worked her magic on giving me exactly what I wanted. I also got my brows done unfortunately I didn't get her name but she was very polite & also took her time making them perfect! I was serviced today by Sopana. When I tell you the experience and service was amazing, it was really amazing. Sopana serviced me for my first ever lash lift and tint and she walked through step by step and answered my questions throughly. I was so scared to do lashes because of my past experience with lashes and have held off but with talking to Aysha about my concerns she assured me I was in good hands. Always the best customer service when I come see her. Aysha's services include: Threading, eyelashes, facials, eyebrows, waxing, and microblading. I kept getting texts saying my medication was ready, but everytime I called to double check, it was not. When I showed up she got me my medication within less than 30 minutes and was on top of it. (And she kept telling me to sit down and asking if I was ok) I'm extremely understanding that these places are overwhelmed. I've dealt with a really rude male pharmacist here, but Tracy has literally been a lifesaver Recently, I had called ahead of time to see what I needed for an early release (2 days early for a medication that is highly controlled due to me not being able to pick it up on the scheduled day) she told me exactly what to request from my doctor. (Which, I got ahold of my doctors office and told them) My doctor put in for my medication, but unfortunately, they did not put what Tracy needed them to put. It was night time and my doctors office was already closed. Tracy told me not to worry at all and that she would call them in the morning and get it taken care of for me. I honestly did not think much of it. I was fully prepared to call my doctors office / having to deal with it all on my own. Yet, I got a text saying my medication was ready in the morning. Tracy even called me personally (not just the automated generic voice message system they leave saying to come get your medication) Tracy called and told me that she had been calling my doctors office as soon as they opened and she had everything taken care of for me. It honestly made me cry. Now if I need a fill while traveling I'll wait as long as it takes, even if I have to get an entire new set when I get home to Mai. I refuse to let anyone touch my eyes because there is just no comparison! Mai is a true artist with mad skills. She's a perfectionist and takes her time to do a meticulous job. She doesn't make mistakes, she's very gentle and only uses the finest high-end lash products. I go in with my headphones, listen to my podcast and before I know it, "Voila" she's done! I always look amazing and feel transformed when I leave her salon. -Not many people can say their natural lashes are still as healthy after 23 years of lash extensions, but I can. I rarely write reviews but for Amazing Brows and Lashes, I must. I've known Ayesha (owner) for a few years now from when she did my brows at another location. From the first time I met her she was super nice, funny and she changed my brow AND lash routine! Once I heard she was opening up her own salon I knew the place would be beautiful and I knew she had a client for life! This was my first experience with lash extensions and Erika's website put me at ease about the process. She had detailed FAQs about the application and the aftercare. I really appreciated knowing what to expect. On my first "Full Set of Lashes-New Client" appointment day, your eyes are closed for 3.whole.hours, so if you don't have a clue about what's going on it can be unsettling. Erika made sure to explain what she was doing, where she was in the process, and what different sounds were. No one wants to think they hear scissors near their lashes! Ha! That's what her tweezers sounded like! There was no "lash style book" or option to select your preferences when you schedule, so I recommend bring inspiration photos, so she can talk you through them. :) She also will respond promptly to e-mails with ANY lash/scheduling questions. The first visit I chose something really natural , but by the second visit we had discovered I prefer a bit more feathery and bold. She's right...they almost "bloom" in the 2nd and 3rd week; that's when your lash extensions shine! Her studio is tiny, but has a very clean, warm, and minimal vibe. You're able to get cozy with fresh sheets and blanket for that coveted "lash nap" or mini "therapy sesh" with Erika. HAHAH. Sola Studios has a lot of other independent beauty/hair/nails/spa studios, so you could book a total self care day! Parking is free and plentiful. I started with the cream of the crop of lash studios in Nashville! I tried another place ONCE and I've decided if I have lashes, I'm going to Erika. What do they always say, "Ya get what you pay for!" -Beautiful and clean private one-on-one studio (Some studios throw you in a large room with other customers and you hear obnoxious conversations and/or snoring-ha!) -A "welcome" goodie bag with lash cleanser, cleansing brush, & spoolie brushes -Dynamic, Natural Looking Lashes that people will admire and ask "Honey, are those your lashes?! They're just beautiful!" I just grin and say, "Well, I've had a little help!" I cannot recommend Erika enough. As long as I can arrange my budget to afford her lashes, I will.
