I came here to get waxed because my waxer was out of town and it was time. Plus, I don't shave anymore. (No one wants ingrown hair & risk cutting ourselves down there, right?) Anyway, this was the only place in Long Beach opened later than other places (6pm close time) and so I called and booked and drove there. Parked on the residential street & walked over. I got greeted by Sapana (spelling?) who was working on someone else's eyebrows (good job, btw) and I signed in and sat down. A lady was relaxed & asleep in front of me on one of the booth chairs! Good sign, I guess. lol! After she finished with the young teen, I got a waxed by her and she did a great job! I already forgot if it was painful! She's that good. Not sugar wax but strips. It was very warm so brace yourselves. She did such a good job, she didn't have to tweeze anything. I exfoliated, yesterday, before coming so I guess that's good. Finished in less than 30 min. And I was considering getting my eyelashes done for the first time... the ladies convinced me it was worth it and so I got it done with Aysha (spelling?) and she was pleasant and we carried on great conversation. I've been coming here for a little over 2 yrs for lashes and brows. It's now my go-to for both with Aysha. Brows: I used to get tint and lamination for my brows, but i think it's just not a good look for my face, so now I get Henna brows done and I love it! It's more of a natural look than lamination and less damaging to my brow growth. I love that she lets me be a bit picky with the shape. She does the ink then let's me add to some spots or remove as I like. Lashes: I get wet lashes done in doll-eye shape (rounded rather than cat eye). It took maybe 2-3 appointments of doing different volume levels to see what I liked and now she does them consistently exactly how I love them each time. Not too much volume, but a tiny bit more than natural looking. Ambiance & Other: They always have good music playing. Never usually have any issues with parking, there's always plenty out front or on the side. And everyone who works there is just good people, but of course, it's Long Beach :) Aside from doing such an amazing job every time, Aysha typically does both my brows and a full set of lashes in about an hour and 15 mins tops.
